   Went with my girlfriend and specified on the reservation that it was her birthday. This was also the night i proposed to her after this dinner. So i hoped for a good experience to set the tone... but heres how it started. They put us by the kitchen and It was drafty...great. The waitress seemed indifferent and apathic. Perhaps just a long day i dont want to be too hard on her. But we got the prime rib medium rare and it was chewy and did not seem fresh. The 3 stars were for the ribs and the appetizer which were The only redeeming qualities of the meal. I got multiple drinks and had a tab of nearing 200. No one wished a happy birthday and no offered drinks. I gave a tip and probably wont be back unfortunately. Thankfully it did not bring us down enough to ruin the night and i proposed to my girlfriend who is now my fiancee

   Always love visiting Baton Rouge Oakville. The service is always friendly and great. The food was delicious - we ordered various seafood options, ribs and steaks. The only downside I must say is that the portion sizes have definitely been reduced in comparison to other times I have dined here.

   Great food as usual. Nice booth, plenty of room. Only issue was being seated close to a family birthday celebration which made things a bit noisy and hard to have a conversation.

   Lovely venue. Friendly attentive service. Clean bathrooms. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Also enjoyed the frequent check-ins to make sure everything ok with our meal. The Sunday deal (steak, soup, dessert) is a heck of a value also.

   I had the seafood linguine and my friend had the club sandwich. The food was fantastic! I was disappointed at the noise level during our visit. It was too loud. No offense but I didn't want to hear screaming children. I just wanted a peaceful meal.

    Way overpriced, the food was ok but nothing special, plating unappealing, garlic bread appetizer the worst I’ve ever seen. The only thing that made everything better was half price wine bottles( it was Thursday). Baton Rouge is not what it used to be a few years ago. Will not be going back.

    Overall it was good. It's one of my favorite restaurants to frequent. But last night the food was way to salty, it's the only thing that really did not sit well. And it's usually not like that.

    We were a group of seven getting together to catch up and chat. Perfect place to do so. It was quiet although a little too dark. One of the party is partially bling. Quite dark inside the restaurant. The food was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves and would come again.

    Table was not ready on arrival. Had to ask if ok to sit in bar. When we got our table, we were bothered by three little ones from a large party across the stairs constantly sneaking in behind our chairs to play with the “fire”. They really were not hurting anyone but it was a little annoying that parents were not keeping them entertained at Thor table. Food was barely warm and less than stellar. For the prices charged I expect a far better quality control than what was evident. Calamari had no more than 15 ring pieces…a paltry serving for the price.

    Haven't dined at Baton Rouge in a while. Great service- Maggie was very attentive. Food was great -had ribs and an appetizer (bread au gratin) which were both excellent. Would definitely go back - wish they had a few more locations.

    First time going to a Baton Rouge and celebrated my Moms birthday. The food was so delicious and they had such a good selection! The staff was very friendly and was able to answer all of our questions about the food. The place was so pretty and elegantly lit. We will definitely be back.

    Food is fresh, hot and served with a smile. Table wait staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Ambient noise level is reasonably low allowing for easy conversation whilst dining. This Baton Rouge is definitely a favourite dining-out experience.

    Really enjoyed our meal there last week.The ribs are always delicious and well done.The coleslaw is too die for! Both of us liked our meal .I had the steak sandwich which was really tender.The only complaint I really had was that the French fries were too salty but maybe next time I could tell the server to skip the salt on the fries as I have to watch my sodium content .

    Very pleased with our recent visit. On line booking was easy. Was greeted by the friendly hostess who arranged for a table location I was pleased with. The background music was pleasant and not intrusive to our conversation. Our server was quick to our table, taking our orders, delivering quickly and checking in on us. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the wine list, made a recommendation I was very happy with and she was efficient. After a long day at work it was exactly what we were hoping for, for a dining experience on a rare night out. Great food, comfortable atmosphere and excellent service.

    Haven’t been for quite sometime so we really don’t know what you do well. We were seated in an area with large groups. Possibly close to 20 people. First group was noisy but a good way into their meal so it was okay. Less than 15 minutes later the next group arrived squealing and generally very loud. it made it difficult to talk to our guest visiting from England. Food, the seafood linguine had little to no sauce to it, very dry. Wouldn’t recommend. Not a lot of flavour. Salmon dish was very good. Shrimp appetizers were good. Stuffed mushrooms with lobster was very wet, again wouldn’t recommend. There must be a better way to do this dish.
