I always enjoy going to the Oakville Baton Rouge. Quality and service is consistently good. Always enjoy the ribs! For my birthday they even provided us with a free slice of cake to share.

Food was good a bit slow for drinks to come, apps came first. I put in the notes on OpenTable to bring a piece of cake with a candle as it was my boyfriends bday no cake came I guess maybe they don’t look at these notes

I remember going to Baton Rouge and loving the attention from staff, quality of food and portion sizes. We were a table 5 on this visit. My kids complained the soft drink tasted like water and they were not offered refills. Two of us ordered ribs and they were warm, not hot and the size of each rack and sides were small. I believe in supporting our businesses and experiences like this that will have us staying home and cook more. This is the first time I have felt that Baton Rouge could have done better. You did not meet our expectations and we will not be back.

Cocktails we ordered dint have enough liquor at all. It was like just soda and ice. Food was way below par (very ordinary) in terms of taste/flavor, for the price it was listed. I wouldn’t recommend it to our friends and food seems quite pricey.

Had ribs with shrimp and baked potato. My friend had ribs and fries without the shrimp. All was perfect. Roderick was our server and he gave us the exact amount of attention we wanted (not too much not too little) super attentive and gave us cake for dessert when we told him we were both celebrating our birthdays (hers a few weeks ago and mine this week ) … we ordered coffee which is usually a dice roll at most restaurants but this was excellent, hot and perfect. Overall this is my favourite restaurant and never once been disappointed.

Unfortunately our server at the bar area had a hard time getting our order right. My friend had to repeat what drink she wanted 3x for the server to get it. She said “rum and cranberry” and the server kept repeating “vodka?” Then the drink came and i tasted it as my friend said it tasted funny. Something wasn’t right, definitely an “off brand” rum. My friends husband ordered a 2nd Guinness beer, the server never brought it, she forgot. I asked for “the bills please” she only brought one. I was paying for my own. She just didn’t pay attention

There were 4 of us dining. The food was good but unfortunately the service was lousy. The temperature in the restaurant was cold and we had to keep our coats on!

Excellent evening. Friendly and attentive staff. Great timing of courses. New York Striploin was perfection. It was a celebratory meal and it could not have gone better. Thanks to Baton Rouge Oakville. Always a wonderful time.

We celebrated my birthday at Baton Rouge and had a great dinner! Our server Ursula was fantastic - friendly, on time with everything, there whenever we needed her. We really enjoyed our visit!

Wasn’t thrilled about waiting 15 minutes after being seated to receive service. Received main course right after appetizer salad?! One bit in. Food was excellent as was our waitress. Service issue was no fault of hers. We were offered complementary dessert due to the initial wait. Why not just comp our drinks instead? Those we wanted.

In general this place is a good place. Unfortunately my last experience I received a dish that had the meat cooked but cold. They did get me new dish, but the experience was a bit disappointing. As I have eaten here before several time and it was good.
