   Food is fresh, hot and served with a smile. Table wait staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Ambient noise level is reasonably low allowing for easy conversation whilst dining. This Baton Rouge is definitely a favourite dining-out experience.

   Really enjoyed our meal there last week.The ribs are always delicious and well done.The coleslaw is too die for! Both of us liked our meal .I had the steak sandwich which was really tender.The only complaint I really had was that the French fries were too salty but maybe next time I could tell the server to skip the salt on the fries as I have to watch my sodium content .

   Very pleased with our recent visit. On line booking was easy. Was greeted by the friendly hostess who arranged for a table location I was pleased with. The background music was pleasant and not intrusive to our conversation. Our server was quick to our table, taking our orders, delivering quickly and checking in on us. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the wine list, made a recommendation I was very happy with and she was efficient. After a long day at work it was exactly what we were hoping for, for a dining experience on a rare night out. Great food, comfortable atmosphere and excellent service.

    Haven’t been for quite sometime so we really don’t know what you do well. We were seated in an area with large groups. Possibly close to 20 people. First group was noisy but a good way into their meal so it was okay. Less than 15 minutes later the next group arrived squealing and generally very loud. it made it difficult to talk to our guest visiting from England. Food, the seafood linguine had little to no sauce to it, very dry. Wouldn’t recommend. Not a lot of flavour. Salmon dish was very good. Shrimp appetizers were good. Stuffed mushrooms with lobster was very wet, again wouldn’t recommend. There must be a better way to do this dish.

    We ordered a large Caesar salad to share, over 1/3 of the lettuce was brown and bad, plus there was lettuce from other types not part of the Caesar salad experience. There was only a mention of it’s not our lettuce, it comes in bags from somewhere else. We do mentioned about the two big clumps of bacon bits, not even spread or distributed about the salad.

    Honestly, it would have been nice to get a booth, and don't really understand how some couplesngot a booth and some did not when booking online. Everything else was excellent!

    Sons birthday is on Valentines Day so made reservations early at 5:45. They only had table for 5 available in bar area. Manager made no effort to find seating in dining area due to accommodation for busy Valentines crowd. Very busy and noisy in bar area. No compensation for being unable to accommodate request to move to dining area even though we made reservations. Manager blamed it on Open Table reservations system. Charged full price for kids refills. Very expensive meal for level of service.

    Was good. Service was pleasant and caring. Meal was good. Little less warm when served. Felt rushed to eat it before it got cold. Some add-on items where a little over priced. $5 per shrimp feels a little much.

    The meals took a bit longer than expected. Four out of five in our party were satisfied with their meals. Unfortunately, one member of our party had ordered prime rib done medium rare and it was overcooked (grey meat).Our waiter Dave and the manager Randy quickly tried to rectify the situation and and ordered a new at plate, however, unfortunately the second serving of prime rib was also over done. Third time lucky with a fillet mignon instead of prime rib. I must say that both our server Dave and manager Randy handled the situation very professionally. The fifth meal was was proactively taken off the bill, which we appreciated.

    I have been to this location many times, and usually have a good experience. however, this time around, the kitchen got a couple of our dishes wrong which is okay and we had to wait for new food, again which is understandable. The owner did come to our table, but I was a little taken aback that there was no discount on the bill for the inconvenience

    The food was very good, but not outstanding. The fries normally have much more seasoning on them - instead they tasted very bland and the three people who ordered fries with their meal did not eat many of them. The rest of the meals were good. Our server was friendly enough, but again - not outstanding. She didn’t come back quickly to see how our meal was. She didn’t check on us at all. Only to clear the plates. My sons were desperate for another drink and by the time she came back we had finished our meals, but ordered another drink for everyone anyway. The ambiance is nice and it was not too loud at all. There weren’t many people dining there for lunch so I think our server could have come back to check on us more often.

    The children's burger consisted of a burnt burger bun and frozen patty. There is a $2.50 charge for shredded cheese which brings the total to $12.50- pretty steep considering that a good portion was burnt and inedible. I would not recommend. The Thai Steak Salad was very good but pricey - $34 for a salad!

    The cutlery was forgotten. We had to ask for it. A portion of our meal offer was forgotten and not offered until we asked for it. The portions on the new Year’s special menu was definitely not portioned well enough based on the overall price of package. The cheese dip had a strong curry flavour which was not sitting well with us. Your chicken fingers were tasteless and not very appetizing. Not at all how we remember dinners at Bâton Rouge.
