   Just arrived At the hotel for my birthday getaway, King flight, king day so xe planned to have a quick dinner there then rest. The service was excellent however the menu and dinner entrees and seafood entrees remain to be desired. No soup, no clams chowder and the only seafood were scallop that were under cooked and lacked flavor. The meal was not gratifying for the cost. The wine, chicken and accommodating asparagus were the highlights. The lounge and ambiance are very nice. If the menu entrees were enhanced and seafood the place would be packed and sold out daily.

   Great water view - dined outside. Very limited menu. Lobster roll had apples in it and apples overpowered the lobster. Otherwise food was delicious - just not many options.

   Grille was comfortable and pleasant. Our waiter was the barman who was lovely! He was very apologetic about not being normal serving staff. The food was ok but the waffle was cold (cooked from frozen I presume) it was ok but not great. Cooked breakfast was quite greasy so not great. They did not have English breakfast tea which was disappointing and the selection provided was poor.

   Food was overly priced for what it was….short ribs were tough, salmon didn’t have glaze and rice was cold, lobster roll was good but I can get on the street 15. I felt same about breakfast. Poached eggs were actually hard eggs. The hash isn’t hash when the beef is chipped. I understand the convenience- but damm. Price is too high for what you’re serving us. The waiter was great and very helpful

   Food is overpriced and poor. Service was awful took ages to bring food (to the point we thought they had forgotten us) AND they gave us the check having totally forgotten to ask if we wanted dessert!

   We dined on a Sunday evening on the outdoor patio. The food and ambiance were very good. However, the restaurant was extremely understaffed and our food took over two hours to be served.

   We had breakfast. It was average, nothing special. We sat outside which was nice, the sun doesn’t hit the outside dining area until the PM hours so no squinting and your right on the water front

   Food was absolutely delicious, albeit expensive and not large portions for the cost. We still went back for more though! We sat outside and had the most beautiful view of the ocean and sailboats. It was quiet as we went during a quiet time, and waiter was very considerate and asked if we wanted music. We opted out of that as we were enjoying the quiet and peaceful scenery. Highly recommend for special occasions!

    Staff was extra accommodating even on a cold Mother’s Day morning. I suggest anyone looking to impress and still get your moneys worth visit Battery Wharf Grill. We will definitely go back for a date night sometime for dinner.

    I’ve been at the restaurant many times, basically since it was opened. It’s a nice location and very good ambience. This last time the food took forever to come, more than 50 minutes and they said it was because they had a large party going on. But, the restaurant was not full, they only had one longer table with 15/20 people. They need to programe and/or train better their staff.

    I made a birthday reservation here for dinner, unaware of the protests going on. We ended up just getting a drink to feel it out but the chanting and chirps made it impossible to stay. Place was empty and I assume this was why!

    When we walked in for our 1:00 lunch reservation on a Tuesday in August, the restaurant and bar were empty. The website has beautiful photos of the harbor from the outdoor seating. But, the indoor seating has limited, unremarkable views. I was worried that we made a huge mistake. However, the service was great and the food was delicious. I ordered a salad with crispy salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender meat. My friend is a big crab cake lover and said they were very good. The wine list was just ok. Bottles started at $50. But, the selection was not special. We were celebrating a birthday and wanted wine so we ordered the Chateau St. Michelle Riesling to go with fish. I often buy that wine at Trader Joe's for less than $15/bottle so it hurt a little to pay $50 even allowing for the service. I would recommend this restaurant for the food but not the views or wine.

    Took 30 + mins for 2 salads that came out the size of your clenched fist .. cost $70. Only enjoyable aspect was it was near the water, although mostly the view was starting at the industrial area of the wharf. Won’t be returning.

    The best part about this restaurant (and the reason we decided to bring out of town guests to dine here) is the location on the harbor/views. Last time we were here (just about 2 years ago), it was crowded and lively; we were also able to enjoy the "urban fire pit" for dessert. Not this time. Service was slow and unprofessional; the food was delivered at room temperature; when we were ready for dessert, we were informed that the fire pit tables close at 9:00 pm!!!! That was an unpopular change we weren't ready for. What restaurant in Boston stops serving at 9pm?! Anyway, our out of town guests were disappointed so we left. Won't be going back to the Grille and certainly won't recommend it for dinner - maybe lunch on a beautiful warm day but evening dining is certainly not a strength of this restaurant. It's too bad.

    I think the location is key, but the food is subpar, at best and overpriced. I would recommend more fire pits and more food choices to go with the fire pits making the fire pits the main attraction.

    We sat outside on a nice night. The tables really need a white tablecloth since they are chipped and rusted here and there. It really killed the ambience. The food was fine. I got the scallops on a place of a potato/fish mix. The mix was not that appetizing and it really needed a vegetable on the plate for $38 and 4 small scallops.

    Experience is completely different from the website claims. Outside was not set up at all, no flowers, table sets, nothing. No one there. We were early by an hour. Seated. The only ones there. Server friendly. We’re asked if we wanted something to drink. Sure. Discovered they had no bartender and no drinks, cocktails. What!? No liquor service, we’re told they sometimes had bar service on Fridays. Here’s the thing. If you don’t have bar service,let folks know on your website. This was a wasteland. Huge disappointment. We left.

    I was so excited to visit this restaurant during my stay with my husband at the hotel, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. Our waiter was very nice, but unprofessional. She brought out our entree way to quickly after the appetizer, and then once she dropped the check off, she vanished for over 20 min. I’ve worked in the service industry myself, so I try to be understanding, but the restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full (on a Saturday too, a red flag in retrospect). We had to flag someone else down to take our check, and they also vanished for another 10 min, so we had to go find a manager, who told us that they had accidentally put the wrong charge on the card, and were in the process of cancelling it. The manager was nice, but this was definitely not the kind of experience that I would hope for at such an expensive restaurant. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. If you’re staying in the area, you’d be much better served going to one of the many lovely places in the North End. Such a shame on our special night!

    Just not good. The newly renovated space is cheap and cold. As is the food. So disappointed as this used to be a beautiful space with decent food. The maitre’d who was also our waiter (first clue that this was not going to be good) was trying his best and so kind and professional. But he was working against too many bad factors. Overpriced, food was not good, portions scarce, ordered a martini that came in small water glass. Had to ask for bread vs being offered it when the disappointing food took more than 45 mins. Really like so many of the hotel staff here so this was really disappointing.

    The restaurant was nearly empty and the atmosphere was odd. It is such a gorgeous setting yet the curtains were drawn shut and it felt stark and bland. Our waiter was gracious and cheerful and that was the high point. I had the halibut which was just ok. A very small piece on a bed of something unmemorable that was tepid in temperature. My dining companion had the steak which he enjoyed. Overall it was disappointing as the food did not match the price and the atmosphere was flat.
