   Scallop & prawn linguine and the sticky toffee dessert were outstanding The young man who seated me was not all there - no wine list - had to ask for it - a few things not up to par

   Dinner menu was not available at 4:00 PM. No crackers for the soup. (a staple) No tartar sauce for the halbut. (they had their own version, not good) Too many people waiting on the table making the wait time for condiments too long. Sorry, won't be back.

   Good location with excellent beach views at the windows. Needs soft furnishings, as can be very loud with a crowd in.

   I was expecting an elaborate Mother’s Day brunch like the brunch I remember as a child when I went to the bayside. I remember this place being the nicest place out there but the food was terrible there were about 7 warming trays with lids and dry roast beef station and a basic dessert station. When we got there everything was eaten or almost empty. Salad dressing were empty even the syrup was empty. None of us ate. I hate 2 small plates and I couldn’t each much of anything. We couldn’t even cut through an English muffin it was hard! everyone at our table felt the same way. The price was insane I think it was 52$ an adult I’m pretty sure I ate 5$ worth of food. There really wasn’t much of selection I will never ever go back to bayside. And I would not recommend it. Man this place has gone down hill. The table was super basic too just cutlery and a napkin, you’d think for that kind of money at least they’d put a table cloth on it.

   Made reservations for Mother’s Day requesting a window seat. When we arrived the hostess sat us at a dark corner table in the lounge. We asked her if we could sit in the restaurant section as it was much brighter and every table had beach views. We told her we didn’t mind waiting for a table to become available. She promptly told us they had no available tables for the rest of the morning. We decided for $56.00 per person it wasn’t worth not sitting in the restaurant area. The hostess did not care that we were going to leave. My sister spoke to the manager who apologized and found us a table in the restaurant area. To make matters worse there were empty tables all around us for the entire time we were seated. We were very respectful asking for another table so we didn’t understand why the hostess refused to seat us in the restaurant with available seating. She needs better training or a new job! Our server was quite pleasant and provided our table with good service. The food was fine but the execution of the buffet was lacking. No butter available for the scones, buns, pancakes and French toast. No toppings for the pancakes and French toast just one container of syrup beside the serving platter. No condiments available including ketchup. We had to request salt and pepper and when we requested ketchup the server brought a small container of it for the entire table. For a Mother’s Day brunch costing $56.00 a person definitely not worth it. Coffee was not even included in the price. First time eating at the Bayside and unfortunately it will be our last. The view is amazing but the food was overpriced. We have been to many Mother’s Day brunches and this was the worst one we’ve ever been to.

    Had a reservation…waited 15 min to be seated (was not busy). 2/6 meals sent back -eggs were cold. Not lukewarm , but cold. Asked for no cheese in omelette …yes there’s cheese . Asked for ketchup for hash browns…never came. Had to ask for jam to compliment the 3 orders of toast. Order of pancakes for $13 was tiny. The food quality was good , once problems were rectified. Staff was trying hard, just inexperienced and disorganized .
