Based on lunch experience. Ate out on the street so ambiance and noise level rating reflected that. Service could be improved by letting customers know what food and drinks are not available b4 they hand u the menu and walk away. And giving customers the" special of the day menu" before they walk away. Food was tasty and prepared well. This is a tapas place so small portions and high prices were not a surprise. Not a fan of restaurants charging 3% for using a CC or starting off suggested tip at 20 % for lunch. For me a one and done. Will look to lunch elsewhere in that area.

Looking for Tapas and was lucky to find this restaurant. Colleague and I had very good dinner and service was better than most. Highly recommend Lamb Chops and grilled Octopus, but all dishes were good.

We made a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes. Meanwhile if we were 15 minutes late we would lose our tablem We ordered lamb chops as Tapas. These came out very late.

First time at Bazar but not the last. The food was delicious and the service was warm and unhurried. Loved the croquettes and tacos. The star was the chocolate heaven dessert. A little pricey but worth it!

Fun, fun place. The food was absolutely delicious, and the size of the plates was perfect. The service was fast and attentive. The only very small negative would be that the food came out too quickly for my liking . Other than that, we will be back.

We booked this on the basis of the 4+ star OoenTable reviews. Food was good and tasty - burrata, mushroom croquettes, patatas bravas, quinoa salad, and roasted brussel sprouts. Tapas can be pricy and these with a glass of wine topped $120 for two. Suggested tips on the bill were in the range 20-30%. Odd seating plan - the front was almost deserted while the back was noisy. They forgot two of the tapas for over 30 minutes.

Friday night at 8: the restaurant seems to cater to “out of towners” looking for a good festive time “in the city”. The restaurant turned up the dance music around 9pm. We witnessed three birthday celebrations with sparklers. We couldn’t have a conversation. The food was good. We especially liked the lamb chops and cauliflower.

Bazar’s food is eclectic and delicious. You can have your own meal if you like, but this is also a great place to try several items that you can share with the table. Everything is so good. And, Bàzar has really put an effort into a well stocked bar. I’ve been here several times and have always found the food, drinks and wait staff to be consistently, highly pleasing. The restaurant’s ambiance makes it a great place to enjoy with friends or a date. Great vibe. I highly recommend Bàzar.

Great neighborhood spot, very popular right now. Menu - while a bit on the pricey side - has a lot of variety. The dishes were excellent. The restaurant was very busy - so that’s good for the restaurant business. The one downside is how incredibly loud it was in there. It was really difficult to have a conversation with my dinner partner without screaming at them. Next time I’ll go earlier or later. Primetime was too hectic & loud … and I’m a New Yorker who loves a busy upbeat restaurant. Probably better for a group dinner than two ol’ friends catching up. But the food is excellent as is the service.

Unbearably loud music for sit down restaurant - could not hear each other across the table or speak to/hear the server without leaning over and shouting. Service was not attentive (took our order and then did not see her at all again until we had empty plates for over ten minutes and finally asked a busser for the check and he went and got the server - she then silently dropped the check, ran the card, and went back to sitting doing roll ups without acknowledging us any further). However food was good at least! Would not come back though, there is plenty of good food in NYC with attentive service and where you can hear.

I went there for brunch with few other friends. To start with they were out of some food. They closed the kitchen at certain time without letting us know for last orders, so we were not able to order more food. Overall food was good. Good ambiance. They need to work on costumer service.
