We ordered rib eye steak but we did not like it because there was a weird smell (as with fish sauce) i am not sure if it is the seasoning or it is not fresh. We ended up ordering 4 appetizers (sashimi, beef& tuna tartare and burrata) which are all good esp the beef tartare! However we had to order the bread separately for the dipping and potatoes as side dish which i think it should be included. We were 2 and we paid 420 with tips and a bottle of wine. Ambience is really good however it is expensive with limited choices on the menu.

Excellent service de toute l’équipe spécialement de notre serveur Mathias, très attentionné. Les plats sont frais et goûteux. Nous avons aussi été très bien été conseillés par le sommelier avec des suggestions de vins selon nos goûts et budget. Bon Dj décor middle eastern et ambiance festive en soirée. Je comprend que les plats sont plus chers que d'autres restaurants, mais la quantité est trop petite. On a payé 450$ pour trois personnes et on n'a presque rien mangé. C'est ridicule !

The food was moderately good, avoid the fattoush at all costs, it seemed like it was premade and soaking in dressing for 24 hours (way too much balsamic vinegar). We didn’t finish it as it was much too acidic and didn’t sit well. The service was awful. Our server didn’t check in on us so no chance to order a second round of drinks. We had to ask the food runner for our receipt and sat there for another 15 minutes to get another servers attention to pay. The perceived ambiance wasn’t worth the trip and we should have chosen another restaurant to go to.

Absolutely gorgeous room, such a beautiful restaurant. The mixology cocktails are outstanding and the food was quite good. It's a bit pricey, but what isn't these days. I brought friends from Toronto here and they were super impressed. I'll be back, for sure!

Food & vibe was great, hostess was welcoming and accommodating. Downside was the dj that started around 11, was terrible and didn’t appear to know how the knobs on his mixer worked, fluctuating volume needlessly, cutting out, and kept getting louder than loud. We assumed it was their way to kick us out.

Very unique and interesting restaurant. The decor is very cool. There are also TV screens showing different art that you can bid on, which is interesting. Some of the screens are quite bright in the soft lighting of the restaurant, which feels out of place. The food is excellent. However, the prices are exaggerated, so I generally wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a friend, unless the friend was ok with paying so much.

First experience at Bazart and I had a great time! We went for brunch and the food was delicious and worth the price. Our waitress was very nice and the place was absolutely gorgeous! The mediterranean decor and ambiance were perfectly executed and made us feel transported to another country. Would definitely recommend the brunch experience!!

I'm really disappointed with the Bazart. I came in May 2023 with friends and it was incredible 🥲. This time I'm visiting Montreal and I wanted to go because I loved it but I sincerely regret it. The croissant was frozen. We were told it was lamb but in the end it was minced meat. Plus many wasps. It's a real shame. I don't think I'll be going back for brunch.

The fact that they did not mentioned that the Brunch is only served at the back of the restaurant ruined my birthday brunch because I couldn’t benefit of the beautiful Ambiance captured on the advertisement but the food was outstanding 👌🏾 not the viennoiseries tho… I will go back for dinner so I can seat at the main table!

Nous sommes allés bruncher , c’était très calme. Très beau cadre , le menu du brunch était bon. Le seul inconvénient était le nombres incalculable de guêpes tout autour de nous qui nous ont obligé à partir plus vite… il faudrait faire quelque chose pour qu’il y ait moins de guêpes mais sinon c’était très bon.

I went here for my friend’s 30th birthday and the food and ambience had looked amazing. Unfortunately the service was awful and the food/drinks were overpriced. Our waiter was rude and condescending and he seemed annoyed that we were there. Another table with a bachelorette party got free shots and sparklers whereas we had to wait 30+ minutes for our drinks and got condescending remarks about the prices of the drinks. I guess it really depends on who serves you. We tried to get into the club after but the sercurity guards were aggressive towards my guy friends and tried to make us leave when we stopped to ask questions about where to go. Overall, awful experience and I wish I had gone someplace else. Prepared to be treated poorly by the staff if you don’t look like an influencer

Such a hidden gem in griffintown ! Sunday brunch was a hit (loved the brunch basket filled with pastries). Will definitely be back :) Service was attentive and extremely friendly.

I dined at Bazart with a group of girlfriends on a Saturday evening celebrating a birthday. The ambiance/decor were so pretty and definitely designed with social media sharing in mind! Every dish was delicious, we shared almost every dish on the menu, and the servers were kind and gracious. We left our table for a bit to take group photos in the bar area, and they didn’t rush us at any point to order or finish up. Would absolutely dine here again!
