Good to catch up with adult children for a quick birthday dinner celebration catch up for a reasonable price and food variety. Also good value with our 25% discount on main meal cards that a few of us have.

Our booking was not found luckily it wasn’t busy but it was a birthday which was disappointing as I asked for a sign for happy birthday will not be recommending using the online booking again ever

My booking wasn't confirmed, so when my friends and I got their they had to put 2 tables together. Also not letting me know before hand that without a legal guardian we will have to leave within half an hour of finishing our meals, so very bad service for an 18th birthday.

Good atmosphere, live music was great, lovely decor, accommodating staff. Prices were too high for the quality of food being served. If you want a good meal, go elsewhere. If you want a great atmosphere to enjoy your evening with your friends, this is a great spot. I ordered vegeg nachos with extra guacamole for an additional $2. I had the same amount of guacamole as the person next to me who did not pay the extra. They also needed beans, there weren't enough toppings.

The atmosphere was good, prices reasonable. Meals were served quickly to most of us but 2 seemed to take a long time, almost everyone was finished eating when they came. Service was poor, no attention, had to hunt for staff. No one would check back or clear the table. Not really friendly staff either

Meals were very nice however we had to follow up 20 minutes later when 2 of the 5 meals were not delivered at the same time. I believe we were charged for a Childrens meal however it was suppose to be free on Sundays.

Getting away from the rude and not very delightful girl who took my order at the till. She definitely needs some people skills and taught how to control her eye rolling and side eye glares at your paying customers. However, The waiter who showed us to our table and bought our food to our table were exceptionally polite.

The food was fantastic but I was hosting a birthday dinner that was interrupted Rudely 4 times by employees telling us we all needed main meals to be allowed to stay when we had just sat down from ordering. And then the last time was when our food had just been placed on the table she came back and said we had 30 mins to eat then we were required to leave. Overall I will not be dinning with you again and you should seriously consider new staff.

Found it odd that they took us to our table upstairs and when we were ready to order we had to go back downstairs -we were not told this I had to ask at the bar. Food was ok but the drinks more than made up for the food.

Great choice for casual dining with a group - enough menu choices to please all. The food itself was delicious but we had one of our party have to first accept a different order due to the chef’s mistake and then having chosen to accept this for the sake of expediency (as everyone else at the table had their meals), was still left waiting for some time before the alternative arrived. This made the focus shift from enjoying everyone’s company and the meal to worrying about the person who was missing out. Otherwise the table service was fine but the process of ordering took a long time due to the numbers of people ordering at once. It also took some time to get our drinks as you again, have to stand in a line at the bar to order.

My sons 18th birthday dissapointing , booked outside table gave us inside ,sons steak was very rare asked for no blood ,,, fish and chips fish very dry and the nachos were dry bland Table wasnt cleared after meal no salt pepper on tables

I go to the Beach house often at Garden City, especially for their eye fillet, consistently awesome ! They have good wine and a nice position loooking over the water feature . Staff are so friendly . Last night booked a my favourite table and had a great night with family and friends .

When we booked we were told that kids eat free on Wednesday's however when we placed our order we were told that this only applied to full priced menu items not the special $15 schnitzel deal which most of us ordered. A little bit of false advertising there. Other than that the food was nice. Big portions. Service was quick.

Despite my taking time to book a table and my confirmation email from Open Table, I was disappointed to be met with the claim that there was no booking for me and no table reserved. Luckily there was an available table and my husband's birthday lunch went well. The food was good with big servings and everyone's taste in drinks was well-catered. It is a casual-style of restaurant very suitable for a Sunday afternoon get-together.

The Beach House at Garden City was, for me, a fun and enjoyable experience. The service was great and the staff were helpful. However, the meal portion sizes had shrunk since the previous time I had visited. The serving platters and appearence of the food was disappointing for me. The flavour was good and the salads were refreshing. Overall, a good experience, but could easily be improved.

A lovely venue. My $19 quinoa and roast pumpkin salad was extremely underwhelming. Essentially it was a bowl of mixed saiad leaves, too much balsamic and very tiny pieces of pumpkin. A real disappointment. There is also no dessert menu.

I was very unhappy with the beach house at garden city. When I ordered my meal I asked for my sauce to be on the side and not on my steak. When it came out it was on my steak. I told the waited that I asked for it on the side and his reply was "does it really matter?" Unfortunately I couldn't have the sauce for health reasons. He took it back and no joke 2 mins later he brings my steak back up which was cold. Then the speakers got really loud and we were right under one and couldn't hear anyone

We went there on Mother's Day lunch, we did not have to wait long to order and also for the food to arrive at our table. The dishes were well cooked - we had the petite eye fillet, pork belly, chicken breast with mustard sauce and garlic prawns with rice.

Wasn't totally enthralled with the experience. Opted for vegetables and chat potatoes with my chicken dish - these were warm at best. We were seated upstairs, only to then have to walk back downstairs to place our orders - would be helpful if ordering could be done upstairs as well.

Food came out all together which was great - generous servings - very tasty!Was a little difficult to have a conversation as the ambient music was too loud.Venue was very modern - recommend dining upstairs.

We were a group of 8 and our food all came out together and only 10 minutes after ordering. The queue for ordering our food was quiet long and took about 20minutes. Overall we enjoyed the service and food and we will go back.
