    Good generally. We arrived and ended up waiting quite a while before the host came to seat us…we had to try and catch someone’s eye in order to be noticed and sat down, and it wasn’t busy at all. Table service was good and food came out promptly, we asked for more bread for the mussels which we asked not to be toasted and covered in oil (the focaccia with the mussels was to greasy) so they didn’t toast it but it was very cold and dry..shame. Also when the brought the bill they charge for a full serving of bread (which we hadn’t finished) if they had said there was the option of half orders that would have been better. Server did take some money off for not informing us. Atmosphere and location are wonderful.

    One of our favourite restaurants missed the mark tonight. The music level was more like a bar than an upscale restaurant. While overcooked vegetables are unacceptable, undercooked asparagus and broccoli that are difficult to cut are likewise not good. We have enjoyed many great dining experiences here , but not tonight.

    The menu now is the same as Earls Ambleside. It's good. I like both. Specials are different. They had the best halibut with corn cream . Delicious

    My wife and My favourite place to go in Vancouver. The food is excellent and so is the service. Their spaghettini vongoli is the best we ever had. Better than Portugal which is kown for their seafood. This place is a little slice of heaven in the midst of Vancouver.

    I believe the Beach House has surpassed the Salmon House for quality, not only in seafood. Every main dish one orders will probably be the best version of it you ever had. Salmon House has discontinued favorites like cedar-plank salmon (DEI chef).
