Another wonderful meal - and the morels were excellent - on the side, in the risotto, or with the scallops - a spring treat not to be missed.

We had a pretty disappointing experience at The Beach Pea, sadly. The location is great, ambiance is lovely, delicious calamari...but the halibut was not fresh and was overcooked. This is the second time I have ordered halibut there and that was the case both times. To make things worse, we were celebrating my mother's birthday which the server duly noted. She even asked which dessert was to have the candle - but omitted to bring the dessert. So another server brought them, no candle and when we mentioned as we left she shrugged if off saying that another server had brought the desserts. Bizarre. Plenty of tourists, but fewer locals will be going sadly. I'd love to say it is a must, but if you want fresh haddock, this is not the place.

Absolutely incredible. Every. Single. Bite. One of the best meals we have ever had and we enjoy going to nice restaurants and don’t mind spending a bit more for quality food. We shared the oysters rockefeller and two octopus as it was too good not to order another one! As well, we shared the halibut as recommended by our server. My god. The best fish dish either of us have had. Service was incredible, and all apps and the halibut were perfectly flavoured and expertly cooked. We are trying to figure out how to go back sooner than later as we’re from Ontario. Our only regret is not booking earlier in the weekend so that we could have eaten there more!!! Thank you for a very memorable meal.
