The food was great. We had a really great time. Service was good. We were there early so didn't experience the crowds or any noise issues. There were only a few in the restaurant. I would recommend it for sure.

Three of us went for a special birthday dinner. Each of us adored every dish we ordered, and my cocktail was beautiful and perfectly balanced. The seating was comfortable and attractive – tufted leather banquette and orange leather side chairs. We loved the cozy feeling inspired by the warm, not-too-bright lighting, artwork, dark grey painted walls, and sophisticated instrumental background music (that was properly in the background). The service was friendly, attentive, and professional. A memorable meal – thank you!

We dine at Beacon on a regular basis as menu options, food quality, and service are all consistently good. Last evening, following our cocktails we had a shareable Caesar Salad, and each had a Beacon Burger sharing a bottle of St Francis Chardonnay. The salad was very good and the burgers were delicious. The restaurant was busy. Service was good.

Not a good night for Beacon - and we have been there before and liked it! First, they served me the wrong appetizer - said it was a kitchen error and replaced it with what I ordered although I had to wait. But when we read the bill after leaving, we had been charged for both the wrong and returned appetizer (Arancini) and the Burrata. Also, found that the Sea Bass main was charged at $57 (I had read $37 on the menu - my bad eyesight!) My husband's Tuna Poke bowl was too spicy for his liking, And finally, we noted that the 20% tip was based on the total bill including HST - which does not seem fair! The Burrata and Sea Bass were very tasty although the fish was not worth the handsome price!

This was my first visit to Beacon. The ambiance was subdued and relaxing. Service from the front door to wait staff & bartender was attentive, informative and friendly. Food was presented in an elegant manner & tasteful. We weren’t pushed to eat faster, enjoying the experience.

Very cool vibe and ambiance. The food was good, but the service was less than par. Very slow, and we were rarely checked in on. We had to ask the server to fill our waters more than once and also asked him to clear our dirty dishes off the table. Not what you hope for at a nicer, more expensive restaurant.

Service was bad and hostess was very rude. Before we were even seated we were told we’d have to move tables in an hour. When we were moved they put us in a brightly lit centre table and refused to adjust lighting. This was after we’d already ordered over $500 on menu( 4 people). Disappointed. I also informed the hostess it was my husband’s birthday and they did nothing. But then later we watched a few tables have cake delivered. When I asked we were told she forgot to relay the information.

Food took long time even though there was only one other table. My food came last and was cold. Would expect better service given the prices. Brunch service used to be much better.

Last evening (Friday) we had dinner at Beacon in downtown Oakville. Following cocktails, we had shareable Caesar salad and each had a Beacon Burger & Fries with chardonnay wine. The salad and burgers were tasty and delicious. Our Server, David, was great....personable and attentive.

Birthday celebration with friends. Too noisy, could not have a conversation, menu changed that night and wasn’t too enamoured with new menu, very pricy and not worth the money. Expected some sort of “0n the house dessert” for the birthday girl,but that was totally nir going to happen. Not going back any time soon. Very disappointing

As regulars we realize a new quality every time we visit so this time it was the team approach to visiting tables which means absolutely everything is done for you by happy and pro servers Never overly present the table is kept filled with delicious treats without the servers being overbearing as they just naturally take care of everyone pretty flawlessly We always recognize staff members and the gentleman who hosted us last Christmas Eve actually remembered which table we occupied months ago right beside the Christmas tree Well done again

I recently had brunch at Beacon with my family, and I've got to say, the food was good! Our server was amazing, super attentive, and always kept our water glasses full. The whole vibe there is fantastic, and we had a great overall experience. I'd totally recommend checking it out!

Great place to try for weekend. Energetic, food is great, place is pumping. Burger is great, ravioli is awesome! Cocktails are top knot! Service is fantastic and fun. Cool ambiance, lots of good looking people. We will be back… Highly recommend to everyone.

My husband and I had dined at Beacon several times over last year and always enjoyed the experience. Naturally when friends were staying with us for a few days recently we didn’t hesitate to book a dinner reservation again for 4 of us. We initially regretted our decision when the meals that 3 of us ordered had sold out earlier in the evening , one of the wine selection made by one our guests was also not available for the night. A disaster…No way …our server and the manager both responded superbly to this situation and turned what could have been a very disappointing situation into a wonderful experience. Alternative wonderful meal choices and wine were offered and extra added on. Thank you and well done Beacon! Four of us had a great time and truly enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. I definitely will go back.
