Dinner was very good. Well paced courses even though the restaurant was very busy. Manager stopped over to check on our experience. Will recommend.

Took some friends there for a birthday lunch. They have a different menu that provides some new refreshing choices and some traditional offerings that appeal to everyone.
They brought out a very nice cheesecake for the birthday boy too!
Cant wait to go back.

Had a wonderful Mother's Day meal. So many unique and delicious flavors.

What a surprise!! We came for mother's day brunch because we loved the additions to their regular brunch menu (not a fan of overpriced, fixed and limited menu). From the moment we entered, we were well looked after.

Our table had some signature dishes: Reuben benedict, eggs in purgatory and brunch special house smoked salmon. Everything was delicious. So well presented (so sorry we didn't take photos!). Coffee was also perfectly made.

Our waiter was also amazing. Attentive without hovering. Great suggestions and recommendations.

I think adding a toast to an order of omelette is kind of a given. Adding some butter and jelly to it is kind of classic and shouldn’t come for additional price.

We live around the corner from this wonderful place, but for some reason, finally went this past Friday evening. Immediately, as we walked in, it felt comfortable. The dining room was very welcoming, especially since we were seated in a very comfortable and cozy booth. The menu was terrific, as were the cocktail choices. My girlfriend ordered the risotto, and that was not just delicious but beautiful to look at! I had the green-chile cheeseburger, and I have to say, it was near perfect to my taste- not overly loaded with fancy stuff, just a good sized cheeseburger that lost nothing due to the additions. This was a wonderful dinner for us.
The service was outstanding! I think the various managers must have stopped by 3 or 4 times to ask if everything was good! Tremendous attention to the customers.
This place is a gem. It easily went to the top of our "go to" places!

Service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, but options for vegetarians are limited and everything (like every restaurant in Chicago) was heavily salted.

I contacted restaurant ahead of time, because of out quests had special needs. We needed a semi quiet booth, which we had last time. It worked perfect. Plus the staff was very attentive.

lovely setting; very nice booth and ambiance; attentive service. Quite pricey for the food. Food was very spicy. ..not billed that way. Would strongly recommend calibrating the offerings to a more affordable range, ($16 omelettes??)

Love this tucked away comfortable restaurant....especially when the weather permits outdoor seating! The decor is warm and inviting and staff were so accommodating with a food allergy with one in our party. Not a large menu, but what the Beacon offers they do to a “T”!

Food was good, not great. Clam Chowder had a thin broth. I like a thicker consistency. Felt the overall price was quite high for everything we had. $32 for salmon, which was good, but came to the table at room temperature.
