Beertown Public House - Burlington
Beertown Public House is a fusion of a retro public house and a modern beer bar, built around a chef driven kitchen.
Friday and Saturday: 11:00am - 1:00am
Everything was perfect as usual, from the waiter, the food, the varieties of beer. Great place.
AWESOME BRISKET!!! HAD THE BRISKET PLATTER AND THE BRISKET BURGER BOTH AMAZING! ALSO HAD THE BRISKET POUTINE BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO, NEEDS SOME MORE BRISKET, LESS SAUCE OR SAUCE ON THE SIDE.
Awesome serve, awesome food and most importantly awesome beer
The waiter we had was amazing - very attentive.
Really liked the ping pong tables on the patio & the oversized jenga. We really enjoyed our dinner too.
Love this place! Always consistent with good food and good service. Only negative is it’s “very” noisy. We go often but only for a certain type of evening. If you want to have a quiet night catching up with friends, I do not suggest it as it very difficult to hear. Otherwise, it’s a great place to go.
Glad we were able to sit on the patio as the music inside was way too loud to have a conversation
Soft pretzels were amazing.
Bottle list for beer is excellent
Draught list is equally good.
Still haven’t managed to get a brisket plate yet(sold out each visit so far)
I love Beertown! I have been twice now in a short period of time with girlfriends and we had a fantastic time. The food and cocktails are fab. It has a super vibe but not obnoxiously loud. I am looking forward to my next visit!!
Two of four diners ordered fish tacos. We knew at first bite that something was not right. It turns out that a bottle of ghost pepper sauce was mislabeled and drizzled all over the food making it so hot it was inedible. We were left with our sides and replacement tacos arrived after the other two diners had finished their meals. A manager never came to the table to apologize. In fact we asked to speak to a manager after we paid and before we left and we were left waiting for 10 minutes. We have been here many times and never had such an insensitive and dismissive experience. Very disappointing!
Fantastic food. Wonderful service. Our favourite spot in the neighbourhood
3 of us had lunch on a Friday. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly at a spacious table. 2 had the paddle fight of beer and I had a beer mojito. Very tasty. 2 ordered the brisket burger and enjoyed it. i had the turkey burger on a lettuce bun and was very disappointed. the presentation made the burger almost impossible to eat and the turkey pattie itself was extremely dry. I have had the turkey burger there in the past and this one tasted nothing like other noes I have had. That being said the server was efficient and friendly and the drinks were good so we may give it another try.
We have been before. Absolutely love this restaurant. The wait staff are excellent, are familiar with the variety of beers they serve. Food has always been excellent.
Rachel was fabulous with recommending drinks and her fav menu item. It was my birthday and felt so special when Rachel brought me a brownie with a candle!!
Great place to grab a drink after work with colleagues! Good Atmosphere only downfall is the volume of the music in this place was practically yelling at our waitress to order :I
First visit for Father’s Day. We were seated right away which was fantastic.
It was the little things that made the experience just average. No cutlery, had to ask twice, never came by to refill water, bill took forever and we ordered a dish with our dinner to go and waiting another 5 mins after paying the bill to get that.
Our burgers were dry, but the sauces were nice.
Would we go back? Possibly. But I wouldn’t recommend it based on today.
Arrived at the bar on time for our reservation. We were immediately seated by (we think) the owner. The owner started out serving us and service was great. We then were traded off for another server... not so great. She forgot drinks a few times and walked away before we were done asking questions.
Our waitress was fantastic! Thank you for helping us celebrate my sons 13th birthday and making it special
We stopped in on our way from
Toronto to Niagara Falls we didn’t know what to expect but were so surprised and impressed! Our food, service and drinks were all above and beyond any expectations. We wished we lived closer to this restaurant as we would for sure return! Attention to detail was also noted, as it wasn’t just delicious but the presentation of the food was superb and the drinks, even the beer. Two in our party of seven order two different beers, the beers were served in the breweries glass and placed on the coaster of the brewery, those details did not go unnoticed!
Great attention to a peanut allergy making the dining experience enjoyable for everyone in the family. Great fries!
Food is good, huge variety of beers to select from.
Great atmosphere with good food. Awesome beer. Service was a bit slow.
As always an enjoyable meal. Fantastic beer selection and awesome food. Lunch time noise level better than when full at night.
1st time going to BeerTown and will definitely be back. My only concern was when I made my reservation they asked about regular seating or bar height... I entered regular (cause I was bringing 2 kids) but the regular seating was still quite high, I assumed we’d be at regular table height or booth. The kids made out fine just thought maybe there should be a spot to add # kids attending etc... but besides that we were very impressed with everything. Staff was super friendly and food was amazing!! Even the kids food was delicious and not the standard cardboard tasting most places offer :)
Food was great and the staff very friendly and attentive.
Very loud. Great food, always accommodating and friendly staff. Beer list is excellent, something for everyone.
It was an ok experience very busy food took awhile. They forgot it was my son’s birthday and we needed to get the bill bc it was slow.
Should play audio of big sporting events. Everyone cheered on each goal but they wouldn’t not play music.
I was surprised how busy it was on a Wednesday night. Definitely an upbeat atmosphere, yummy food and yes beer. Would like to come back in the summer to try out the patio.
Our server Bass was amazing! The beer selection is out of this world and the food is delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who loves beer and good food. Just as an FYI it gets busy FAST so make a reservation ( don't accept reservations on Friday and Saturday )
Outstanding , service and food was good had a great time
I was finally able to check out Beertown for the first time since it opened in Burlington and was more than pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great, the place itself is really well laid out, very comfortable with lots of windows bringing the outdoors inside.
Great menu with an excellent variety of beer on tap and in bottles, as well as paddle samplers. The food was great and the service was excellent. The only downside is the wait time on Friday and Saturday nights, when reservations cannot be made.
Overall highly recommended (if you can get in!).
Great food and amazing beer selection. One of our favourite restaurants in Burlington.
Great place for lunch. Had Kale & Blueberry salad with chicken and Small Caesar Salad with shrimp. All food came out quickly and was excellent. Service awesome.
Great beer selection, great food. The pork belly burger is insanely good.
wE FOUND THE MUSIC SO LOUD THAT HAVING A REGULAR CONVERSATION FOR A FAMILY DAY DINNER WAS DIFFICULT.
THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL AS THE FOOD.
ON THIS PARTICULAR DAY THERE WERE MANY FAMILIES SOME WITH SMALL CHILDREN. A WATCHFUL EYE OF THE MANAGER MIGHT HAVE PICKED OFF THAT THEY WERE KILLING US WITH KINDNESS WITH THE MUSIC. SHAME.
the food was good and the beer list extensive but it was a bit pricey.
Food was generally tasty. The only knock was the food (beef brisket) was not hot. It was at room temperature bordering cold. I am overlooking this flaw once by saying that I would recommend to friends.
Experience was pleasant with good beer, good food and efficient knowledgable service.
Was able to order vegan entree from the menu with wait staff suggestion to modify to comply with my diet
When we arrived the hostess was aware of our reservation but no table had been saved for us and we waited close to 15 minutes to get a table, although there seemed to be several available. There was little to no concern that a table was not available and little effort was made to seat us or offer us a place to wait other than standing in the entrance. Other diners arriving without reservations were given beepers and sent further into the restaurant to wait.
The table was small and a booth would have been more comfortable. Because they serve boards with beer glasses on them, the space was very small for dinner plates and the boards had to be removed. We were constantly jostled by wait staff moving around our table to serve others as we were in the middle of an area that was crowded with tables.
The noise level was so high that we had to speak very loudly to hear each other converse. One of our party has hearing aids and was unable to distinguish our conversation from the loud din of the other patrons.
The food was tasty and portions were fairly large. However we would not go back as other restaurants offer similar menus with less noise and friendlier environment.
