Amazing brunch! Food came out quickly and the restaurant itself was clean and spacious enough. The area is a little bit rougher so just make sure to lock your doors.

It's a wonderful place to spend a Friday afternoon-into-evening. No matter whom your acquaintance is, there is something for them on the menu - both for drinks & snacks. They seem to have a low staff turnover, which also adds to the experience because you are fed & served by someone who likes where they work. Highly recommended - especially during Happy Hour.

What an absolutely beautiful space and ambience. This was our first time at Belgard and we'll definitely go back. Great service and the food was excellent. Try the Tomato Soup Fondue, soooooo good.

We had the pre-fix menu. Great value and food was great! Great beer and wine selection. Relaxed atmosphere and not too loud so you can actually have a conversation without screaming over the table.

I understand that tables need to be turned over, but when food doesn’t arrive till really late that should be taken into consideration before telling customers they need to hurry up…. And then when 4 different people say the same thing about turning the table over and you are still eating because it took a long time to get there…. Not great

Osso buco was disappointing. Almost flavourless. No gremolata. Why were the vegetables “buried” under the bland and soupy polenta? The cauliflower was undercooked and hard, not soft snd buttery. The beet salad was surprisingly tasty and delicious a delight on the tongue.

Portion size is pretty sad compared to what it used to be. Left hungry and went somewhere else for a few appies after our brunch. Restaurant was also freezing. Not a good experience there anymore. Used to really love this place.

Very characteristic setting! That's what caught my eye and got me excited right away. It's a big open space, once a boat warehouse, but feels very warm! (Not very warm if you go in winter because of that.) The food was great, honestly. Belgard is offering something different than average and it was of good quality and well presented. The service very good and friendly. The area where it's situated makes the experience a lit bit less pleasant, but the place itself is great. P.s. I didn't have any alcohol, but apparently, Belgard was first a brewery, then a winery, and then a restaurant. So, probably you can pair the delicious food with some nice drink 😉

The presentation of the food and flavour was fantastic, however, portions were smaller than I had expected for the price. The price point was similar to other restaurants in the downtown core, but definitely not cheap. The space was pretty cool.
