It's Thanksgiving Week! The best way to prepare for endless hours of cooking and family is to spend your Sunday with your family at Bella Napoli and let us cook for you! This dinner is a step aside from our traditional Italian Cuisine and Wine. At the Thanksgiving Day Spectacular, we eat and drink everything that's not Italian. Chef Kyle Wright and Avery Bailey partner to cook some of their favorite recipes paired with Avery's favorite wines of the year from everywhere in the world (outside of Italy). The hardest part is convincing our Italian Pastry Chef, Nikla Tramontano, to venture outside of her favorite Italian Classic desserts. This wine dinner is not to be missed!

Delighted that we could sit outside after requiring inside reservations. The gnocchi was good but the special $20. Price was a surprise. Wine ok.

It was our first time here. It is not easy to find. It isa a neighborhood gem. The food was very good. The salads large and the pasta authentically Italian. It was a disappointment that they were out of two items which we ordered. Tuesady is 50% off a bottle of wine night. Good value.

First visit. Menu looks like a wish list of what I'd like to eat on any evening. Server was spectacular. It's a neighborhood bistro in an area that's increasingly walkable. We went for an early dinner and couples with young kids were there. Even the kids were (relatively) well behaved! Friendly place to have a pleasant meal. Looking forward to cooler weather to eat outside. We'll be back.

Of 3 entrees, one was decent. The meatballs were essentially tasteless. Billed as a panini, it was a hoagie. Olive salad was okay. Peppers were a slimy mess. Tortellini was a B-.

On Sunday, my husband and I enjoyed one of Bella Napoli's occasional wine pairings. This one featured food and wine from Tuscany. YUM!! If you haven't been to one of these, check the Bella Napoli website for upcoming events. You'll be glad you did!

Another fabulous Wine Dinner with a packed house and an Italian wine maker to explain how his wines are so good! Our host Avery shared photos from his recent trip to the region to put us in the mood. Chef Kyle made us feel like we were right in the middle of Tuscany with beans, sausage, pappardelle pasta ragu, and a tomahawk steak presentation to rival the Florence Bistecca. To finish with a lemon tort while sipping grappa, took me back to Italy!

Having grown up in Italy, Bella Napoli is generally one of my fav spots in town. This time around the food was lacking a little salt, particularly the gnocchi dough (not the sauce) and the melanzane alla parmigiana. It was still good, but I hope they’ll make the corrections.

Pizza was amazing. Ragu was quite good. Several other menu items will have to wait until next time. We've been in search of the "closest to Italy" we can find since traveling there in 2019 and this is it so far. And I thought the prices were very reasonable.

Based on the prices and location, I thought the restaurant would be quieter and cozier. When the bread was brought out in a cheap plastic serving dish and the hostesses were in shorts I realized I was wrong.

We went for my brother's birthday and had a great meal. The bronzino was delicious, others loved their lasagna and eggplant parmesan. Eli took good care of us on a busy Tuesday night.

We hadn't been in a while, and I found out that Tuesday they have half-price bottles of wine. The food is always wonderful, and when we heard about the special, we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, they ran out just before our order went in. Our server was amazing, though and went above and beyond to make things right. Inside is kind of noisy, but outside was lovely.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced and portioned. We will return to try more items. My only hiccup was with the service. We made dinner reservations and when we arrived it seemed like they were not expecting us and our table was not ready compared to the others (no olive oil for bread, no silverware, etc.). I was also served a plastic bottle of coke instead of a glass with ice and had to ask for that.
