                                                                          They were clearly understaffed on a busy Valentine’s Day evening, so it’s hard to blame them too much, but it was a very disappointing experience. We waited about 45 minutes after ordering, before reminding them about our appetizer. Next thing we knew, the main course was arriving, and the appetizer came out soon after (and it was the wrong one). The folks around us seemed to have worse experiences, with one couple announcing they were leaving after an hour of waiting for drinks, and another nearby asking repeatedly about their caesar salad which took over an hour to come from the kitchen. It was not a romantic and quiet evening for anyone in the restaurant. I felt bad for the workers because the servers seemed to be trying their best but the kitchen was extremely slow and disorganized. It must be a bad feeling when you notice your patrons are starting to look around and commiserate with other tables about how long the wait has been.

                                                                          In a nut shell. took us 3 different times to order a bottle of wine, as they did not have it in stock. Service was so slow, food was subpar. Much better Italian restaurant to venture out too in Little Italy. WONT BE BACK.

                                                                          It was a quiet Tuesday evening so not too busy. There was only waiter on staff so service was slow. My friend and I were there for a special occasion so we ordered the best bottle of bubbles on the menu $90. Not available. So we ordered the only other bubbles, a Prosecco at $30. Not available. So we settled on a cheap bottle of Chardonnay. The only one. Ordered salads: mixed green salad turned out to be a spinach salad with a few other lettuce leaves thrown in. Many greens looked wilted so this salad was not very fresh. We both had a seafood fettuccine which was very ordinary but a very large portion with an empty lobster tail casing thrown on top for decoration. I would not recommend this place as there are many other good Italian restaurants located nearby.

                                                                          I didn’t have high expectations going in but the food was awful. The margherita pizza was a crappy cheese pizza and the meatballs tasted like plain ground beef. The cocktails were good though (and inexpensive). It took us about a half hour to try to get our bills.

                                                                          I i like the place, service was good and they kept all the safety procedures for Covd 19. I ordered a vegetarian Risotto and the portion was very small, my husband mentioned to the waiter and they gave us a complimentary dessert for that without asking for anything so is a nice gesture from the restaurant. I didn't like the female washrooms, smelly and dirty.

                                                                          We were two families out for a birthday celebration. We went the day after Valentine’s Day for an early dinner so restaurant was quiet. Our server was wonderful - very friendly and attentive. The food was Delicious and good price point. Would reccomended and are sure to be back.

                                                                          Amazing food, amazing ambience and the waiter is beyond words. He treated us 5 star plus made us feel like VIP. The food was amazing, the seasoning was just like mama would make. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not regret it and when the bill came I was floored!!!!! For the flavours and service I really under paid.

                                                                          I've been here a couple of times and they do their best for service, but find it's often very slow. Not ideal if you have a time limit, but overall great food and pleasant service... could be more efficient.

                                                                          We had a lovely meal here. I had calamari and pizza, my friends had beef carpaccio and pasta - all were very delicious! The reason for four stars was that the service did take a bit long, which was surprising as the restaurant was quite empty. If you have lots of time, it would be no trouble at all, but in our case we then had to rush to make it to a show. Overall, great meal and we would definitely go back!

We had a lovely knowledgeable waiter who recomend ded his favorites and they were super delicious presentation was a 10 out of 10. We had tiramisu and they served it very unique. We would definitely return, the food, the service and the place were all great!!!

                                                                          Service was beyond slow. Our waiter kept telling us he’d be right back. 20 minutes to get water. 25 minutes to get salad. Asked for the bill when desert was dropped off then, had to walk our own bill up as our waiter was sitting at another table talking. Taste did not make up for the poor service.

                                                                          Thanks again Pat for being so accommodating to our grade 8 Science Fair winners. All the students loved their pizza's. And the teachers loved the Pasta Special you served us. We are coming for our Grad night in June but instead of 12 there will be 40. We are all looking forward to it. Grazie V.B

                                                                          Went for a nice dinner after work, had the house-made gnocchi, which has got to be the best thing I've ever tasted. They were more than happy to accommodate me and switch it to a tomato-basil sauce as I have some food allergies. My husband had the salmon which came in a dill sauce that was also very delicious. The house-made tirimisu was also incredibly delicious along with our cappuccinos. Everything was perfect- service, ambiance, music selection. Would recommend Bella Vista to anyone looking to eat on College Street, and to anyone looking for an Italian restaurant in the city!

                                                                          Went for a Birthday dinner with friends. What a great experience from the second we walked in until the moment we left. Roberto was an incredible server with jokes to boot! Our meals ranged from homemade pastas to a seafood plate with lobster tails - all incredible. Patrick served amazing cocktails and kept the wine flowing :) Thank you again for such a fantastic dining experience, it was the perfect beginning to a great evening.

                                                                          Bella Vista was spectacular !! Had my in-laws over from Austria and they fell in love with this restaurant, and they aren't Italian. Roberto (our waiter) made everything so special for us. Food and service were 5 stars out of 5. My husband and I will come again for the Seafood Linguini and Vegetarian Butternut Squash Ravioli. All in all one of our new favaourite places to eat in the heart of Little Italy.
