I am always so quick to give a restaurant five stars, however this experience definitely deserved me taking the time to write a review of how Unsatisfied I was for Mother’s Day brunch. Not only did they lack attention and detail for our brunch but basically our brunch did not even exist because our food was not even served. We waited over an hour for our meal while other tables that sat down after us were eating their meal. When brought to the managers attention, he did not even apologize or have any explanation as to why our meal was delayed. On top of that I could tell the manager and waitstaff lacked communication which also lead to poor service. Highly do not recommend this restaurant. Anything in coral gables is better than this restaurant.

Always a pleasure to have the owner meet & greet you, and on this occasion it was the case. It was a delightful afternoon of tapas & wine at the bar. We truly enjoyed the Pata Negra ham alongside an outstanding Manchego, delicious Boquerones with perfectly crusted bread, lamb chops and complimentary tomato toast.

I have been 2 times to this restaurant. The food is good but service is awful, we had to ask more than 5 times to 2 different servers and 2 busboys and the manager for a bottle of sparkling water, to add gasoline to the fire other tables were being brought. sparkling water bottles galore. Will I be Back NO WAY

We very much enjoyed all of our food: We ordered a selection of tapas to share, along with a bottle of wine. The piquillo peppers were definitely a stand out, along with patatas bravas, but everything was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. We will definitely be back.

Yesterday I took my wife to Bellmont restaurant for our first visit. After some issues finding parking, we arrive to the restaurant. From the moment we enter the place ambience was very welcome. Our waiter was very helpful with the menu options and very pleasant. We were approached by Mr Sergio, the owner several times asking us if everything was ok. He was very afable and make us feel in family. The food and wine were delicious and the atmosphere could not been more enjoyable. We definitely will be recommending this restaurant to all our friend and family and for sure we will be back soon. Thanks again for the incredible time we had there.

Absolutely charming little place. We felt like we were in Spain. Got lucky to have a table next to the stage with fantastic Flamenco performance. Felt very welcome and taken great care of. The food was excellent. We liked the paella negra the most. Will be back a lot and will tell only our best friends about this little gem. 5 stars, bravo!

We went to have paellas, we were told the chef ID from Asturias Spain. I would fell shame to say that I came from Spain to cook the low class paella we have eaten. Not “ raspa”, no flavors and little seafood or country food. I won’t recommend that to any one. Worse paella ever… Jorge

Great idea and show, food was very slow and not enough servers. The servers did work hard and try their best but for an event should have had other servers. Be prepared to wait 1.5hrs for food during events. Overall good!

We had a wonderful dinner recently at Bellmont Spanish Restaurant. The food was delicious, from the amazing ham to the yummy paella, everything we had was terrific. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a large group of adults and college students, and everyone enjoyed the meal tremendously!

We specifically returned to dine in Belmont for the Cuchinillo which my husband and I had the first time we had dinner in the restaurant and because we enjoy Spanish cuisine. The Cuchinillo we portion we had then was served hot with crispy skin and flavorful tender pork meat. This time we booked for lunch and brought visiting out of of town friends who are fond of roast pork thus we pre-ordered a whole Cuchinillo (small good for 4-6 persons). We were 4 adults and a child. For starters we had Gambas, Calamares Fritos and Ensalada de casa which was served in good time. We had to wait a while for the whole Cuchinillo to come out which looked pretty good and asked that they could cut into portions but serve in the center of the table for us to help ourselves family style. The skin was very crispy and tasty, but found the pork meat rather dry, lacking moisture, even if it was flavorful. This brought us some disappointment and we did mention it to our server as this is a specialty of theirs. Perhaps ordering by portions would have been better than ordering the whole Cuchinillo.

This was an almost 100/ per person Valentines packet. We chose Paella and the fish. First we waited one hour and a half for the main course to come. The waitress actually brought the desert to us BEFORE the main course. They had just forgotten we hadn't gotten our main course. The Paella was not very flavorful and I had to add salt to it. It lacked color and just really amateurish. The fish was dried and not very fresh. My wife did not finish it. Just an overall negative experience, and definitely not worth the money.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at the Bellmont last night. The appetizers were very good, sparkling wine delish, the entrees (Steak was a little salty and paella was a bit dry), but overall, the food had a good taste profile. Service was a bit lackluster, young overwhelmed waiters typical of the Covid era. I was also put off by the fact the restaurant owner was cleaning tables and doing busy work instead of assigning those tasks to a worker, and instead, focusing on being a great hostess. She never smiled or projected a pleasant attitude, just seemed stressed. It is important for a restaurant owner to put service above anything else, it is as important as food and ambiance; without the three things in balance your restaurant will suffer. The highlight of the evening was definitely the amazing live music group playing romantic Spanish favorites. I wish the Bellmont all the success in the world, room for improvement but a worthwhile place to have a quiet dinner.
