   Always great service from the ladies here and amazing food from the kitchen. Consistent and greasy and delicious every time. Always friendly server always smiling. This time one of my friends was celiac and they did an impeccable job of handling, from providing her a mimosa option she could drink to ensuring the kitchen took extra precautions. Always impressed and this remains one of our favourite places to go. Keep up the great work!

   We had three apps: cheese fondue, mussels & sweet potato. All packed a lot of flavour & were nicely presented. We enjoyed the taste profile of all three. We enjoyed a Negroni, gruner & sauvignon blanc. The place had a good energy with guests enjoying themselves. Service throughout was friendly, caring & polite. A perfect Friday night out.

   I found a last minute reservation slot and took a chance. I knew I was going to be a few minutes (9 to be exact) late waiting for my lyft. I called ahead and the staff assured me I would be fine. They even informed me how long I had the table until the next reservation. This helped me plan my ride back to hotel. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted and given a lovely table by the window. My server was just as delightful and gave me time review the menu. I selected the famous deviled eggs, a vegetarian indian inspired sweet potato and Paneer dish with an old fashion cocktail. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The deviled eggs where chilled, smooth texture and just the right amount of pickled taste. The Indian inspired dish... was just amazing. I regret... yes regret not getting a 2nd dish to go. Similar to a Shahi korma, but without as much curry sauce. I would've only added a little more of the curry. It was filling, packed full of flavor and a great price! I can't wait to go back to Ottawa just for this place. Don't skip on this lovely place. They have an intimate setting and great music. Must go to for dinner!

    The Belmont is by far, one of the most delicious and ecclectic eateries in Ottawa. Last night did not disappoint! I'm not certain how one can render a mere sweet potato into a roasted festival of deliciousness...but the Belmont did. The mushroom fondue was simply divine! For a combination of wonderful food, cozy ambience and excellent service, the Belmont hits on all marks. It is ALWAYS a sure thing!

    The food and service were amazing. We did the family style meal and everything was delicious, well-balanced and so flavourful. Will be dreaming about the super juicy piri piri chicken with the crispiest skin. Cocktails were great and super professional and friendly service all around. Can’t wait to go back.

    Recently had brunch at the Belmont. Space is small so the noise level can be high when full. Good selection of brunch options including vegetarian. My meal was ok although the pulled pork that I had was dry and tough and the dough in the Trini Doubles I ordered was also dry - the rest of the filling and scrambled eggs I had were tasty.

    On passe toujours un bon moment au Belmont ! Près de la moitié des choix sont végétariens, et le service est à la fois pro et très sympa. Seul bémol, le vin au verre est assez cher, surtout pour les portions servies. Un 4-5 onces presque au prix d’une bouteille, c’est un peu exagéré. Nous reviendrons cependant, les cocktails sont originaux et délicieux. Et pour les Trini doubles, of course !

    The Belmont is a wonderful place for dinner. The service is friendly and casual, the atmosphere cozy and inviting, but the best thing is the eclectic food , with strange ingredients, that somehow blend to make the most delicious plates. Honestly, their cook is simply a master. If you are into interesting and well balanced food, then this is the place to be!

    I had never before been to the Belmont. I was very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff were knowledgeable, friendly (but not too much so), and attentive. The food was excellent, a combination of unusual flavours for brunch. The restaurant was not as noisy as some and did not have recorded music people felt they had to talk over. I was there for two hours and found everything good, but I found the cushionless chair a trifle uncomfortable after an hour or so. However, overall it was an unexpectedly excellent experience.

    There isn’t a huge selection on the menu but everything we had was delicious, beautifully presented and worth the money. The service is casual and friendly. The ambience is cozy and interesting. Book ahead as there are not that many seats!

    This was my second visit to Belmont in 2 years and I cannot say enough about the food. First, the Trini Double is a must as a starter. The sides are spectacular: we tried the Patatas Bravas (amazing, perfect to share with 3-4 ppl) as well as the Mushroom fondue (mixed shrooms with Gruyère. Need I say more? Good for 2-3 ppl). The mains (!!) Always original and inventive, but also oh so comforting. I tried the Birria Jalisco (slow briased goat). SPECTACULAR *chef's kiss*. Other mains enjoyed we're the duck breast, Piri Piri Chicken (use the Trini Double hot sauce for extra kick) and the Beef Tataki. Great restaurant for a date night, or double-date with partners or friends. They encourage sharing plates with the table,and due to a small kitchen,dishes will not be served necessary all at once, so just be prepared and go with the flow. The quality of the food is worth the wait :)

    The Belmont is one of my fave Resto a in Bytown! Food, music vibe, ambience, amazing cocktails are all top shelf. It’s a bit on pricy side but the overall experience makes it worth it. Re. Noise - I rate the locale as 4 stars - but “energetic” is not the correct description I feel. The full Resto is VERY noise and near end of dinner (8pm) it became difficult to hear my table mate, sitting just in front me. Maybe time to invest in some acoustic tiles for the ceiling ?!? Other than that small issue, excellent locale. I would highly recommend
