Open since 2014, we are very excited to host you and your guests
Food and services was excellent. Imaginable menu items that change throughout the year. Never had a bed experience
We love the Belmont. Adrian and his team are so welcoming - and the food is so unique - and exceptional.
Delighted by the experience.
I have a newly diagnosed allergy. Was handled with care.
Nice spot, great food. Bit loud, hard to have a conversation at times. Very friendly staff and helpful.
Excellent food, friendly, knowledgable service and an overall pleasant experience.
Amazing food and amazing service. This is one of Ottawa’s gems - the menu is fresh and delicious, the drinks are unique and the atmosphere is warm and exciting. The belmont is my go to for any occasion.
Best brunch in the city!
Excellent experience. Our group of four let the chef decide exact content for a family type meal and were wowed at each course. Highly recommended by our group.
This was my second visit to this cozy little restaurant, and it was equally as good as the first time. It serves a mix of small plates and full meal choices. Each is a unique, refined and delicious dish with interesting combinations of flavours. The dishes are perfect for sharing. The cauliflower and the pork shoulder dishes are my favourites. The service is efficient, relaxed and professional. The restaurant was packed and had a fun, lively buzz. Highly recommended.
First time eating at the Belmont - a small restaurant on Bank Street. The menu is a good variety of small and medium plates. Everything is very shareable. From Trini doubles (chickpea curry) to bulgogi beef tataki, skagen toast, to Haitian griot and a Mexican brownie- we loved it all. Special Sunday drinks menu as well!
Great food. Great service! Will definitely go again
Belmont is awesome, great food and drinks, great service, great vibe!
Great spot! Loved everything about it. Service, wine and food!
Made to feel welcome by the owner when we walked in and made better when Tom Waits is on the playlist. Good service, innovative and tasty food.
This was our first time eating here. We went for dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff and welcomed to sit where there was a free table. The service was excellent. All of our questions were answered and patience was taken to explain the menu items. We asked for suggestions and followed our servers advice. The food was very flavorful and extremely imaginative. We ordered the olives, grilled halloumi, the signature Doubles (best item we had), roasted cauliflower (a very close second) and the Haitian dish. I wish we had room to try more. My husband enjoyed the local beer from Old Dominion. We will definitely be back to enjoy the food and intimate environment of Belmont.
Really loved the Doubles. And I had one of the best Bloody Caesars! My friends had great local beer and one a very interesting cocktail. The other food was really good. I think next time I may just have Doubles because I thought they were so good.
Lovely brunch with great service and food!
First visit was wonderful! Great food and amazing service!!!
We had a great experience last Friday night. Service was friendly and good. Loved the menu.
Always a great evening at The Belmont. Food is delicious and local beers are awesome.
Great service and great food. Highly recommend the brunch
Absolute Favorite place to go for brunch. Been a few times in the last few weeks , love the service the food and the atmosphere
The food was to die for. The servers super friendly. Waited quite a while for our drinks but no biggie.
Very eclectic and well-executed menu, built around good-sized sharing plates so all can sample. Excellent drinks selection in a very relaxed room with a neighbourhood feel.
Awesome spot that we return to over and over. The roasted cauliflower is off the charts.
It’s very casual we opted for the bar for dinner... it’s laid back and the menu is eclectic not everyone’s cup of tea... very friendly staff... we enjoyed it.
They went above and beyond to accommodate our group, such a lovely restaurant!
Food was unbelievable and like nothing I’ve ever had or could make myself. Staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable about food and wine. Cool vibe.
The Belmont is a great option for drinks in Old Ottawa South--especially for a small group, or a date. The selection of cocktails, beers and snacks on the menu should please just about anyone.
Good tasting food. Quaint interior/layout/decor.
Service was a little slow. Some of the food was cold.

Great quaint place. Nice surprise. Amazing flavors!
It’s clear that the Belmont has changed hands and the new owners have improved on the old the food menu. The half chicken is a fantastic value and tastes amazing! Before I would recommend the Belmont for drinks alone; now I would happily endorse it for an excellent meal in a cozy venue. Well done!
Great! One of the best brunches in the city.
Both the food and the service were excellent. A small intimate space with a great atmosphere.
New, appealing menu design, delicious new dishes!
It was my first visit to the Belmont. Our group of 4 ordered the family style meal, which meant we experienced a great many of the menu choices. Each item was unique and the flavours were remarkable. A real adventure in tastes. My out of town guests were as impressed as I was.
Let the bartender make a surprise cocktail!
Had never been, pleasantly surprised. Fantastic service and great food.
Outstanding food and service. A big shout out to Shea who went beyond the norm of good service. She made our night.
I keep ordering the same delicious food. wontons, barratta, Morroccan rock Cornish hen. The menu could ad a few more creative non pork main course items. Waiter was right on with his choice of red win based on our comparable.
