Great atmosphere and seafood tower was spectacular. Some of the staff do not seem to appreciate their role in creating a positive dining experience. Others were terrific.

Pour les fruits de mer à Montréal, un must! Les plateaux sont délicieux, parfait pour partager! L’ambiance est très bien, beaucoup d’intimité. Des huîtres en entré et en dessert, rien de plus rien de moins.
Visited Montreal from Atlanta for the Christmas Holiday. The reservation was made on Open table about a month before the date. We took an Uber from our hotel and when we were dropped off found the restaurant closed. I spend a good amount of time trying to make plans ahead of time for four people who get together on the Holidays from three different cities so it is disturbing to have to go into the Marriott Courtyard and try to locate another available restaurant on Christmas Eve.
While we were outside two other people came up that also had a reservation so we were not the only ones inconvenienced by your lack of management. Again I have to assume someone at this restaurant is made aware of the pending reservations from Opentable. A simple message would have been appreciated.
They are out of business or closed while still able to make open table reservations. Ruined our Christmas Eve early dinner.
Food was sub par at best.

Belon has not bothered to cancel their OpenTable connection. We made a reservation with OpenTable and were told they don't get it. We were MAD 😠!!!
Best seafood risotto I have ever had. Great risotto, but emphasis on the seafood. Very interesting interior as well. One must see the wash rooms as well!

We had previously not kins on multiple occasions and enjoyed it immensely. It’s a rebranding does not seem to be as good. The service was disappointing and it seems one is no longer able to interact with the oyster Schuckers when one is sitting at the bar. The clam was barely warm. Our waitress didn’t know that much about oysters and most of the oysters had pieces of shell in them. Perhaps we hit them on an off day as previously this place was marvelous.
I am torn on this. I was in Montreal on business and had an evening to myself. I saw that Belon got good reviews for their food, and thought it would be good for the evening. I made a reservation on Open Table and arrived on time. I was told by the hostess that they no longer accepted reservations from Open Table and that they would not accept a reservation from one person in any case. She sat me at the bar, which I did not mind, but the service I received was exceptionally disinterested. My dinner took nearly 2-1/2 hours with lots of down time. I am used to that in Europe, but not normally in Canada. In any case, the seafood was excellent, especially the oysters, but the service was slow and the food, other than the seafood was not up to par in terms of temperature or flavor. If they wanted to make me understand that they feel that singletons (even those racking up $100+ checks, American $$) are not worth their time, the were successful.
The decor was very nice and seafood was fresh however the main dishes are okay. Nothing to be wow about. My seafood risotto was a bit too salty for my liking and the clam bake also good.

Nous avons bien aimé notre première expérience à votre resto. Tout était frais et très bon. Cependant nous avons trouvé les vins beaucoup trop cher et l'entrée pour se rendre de la rue au resto inadéquat pour le style de resto. Sombre et pas joli du tout.
I have never had such bad service in my life. The drinks were not consumable and the waitress did not even care. My date had a whisky sour that was far too acidic and was hardly shaken. I asked the waitress what her favourite drink was (I think it had gin and prosseco in it) and I could not drink it. The prosecco was flat and it was too acidic. But she did not ask how they were even when we decided to leave without finishing the beverage. I had planned on ordering food but when I saw how little care went into making my drink, I decided against it
Food was ordinary and the menu was quite limited. I was attracted to the pictures on social media, but at the end it looked better than it tasted.

The raw oysters were stellar, the mussels and fries were just ok. I had many mussels that didn’t open so I couldn’t eat a good number of them. Their beer menu is just sad, they don’t know about food and beer pairing at all

We very much enjoyed the food and drink at Belon which had a nice variety of seafoods. Alix was a superb waitress, very knowledgeable and quite friendly, a pleasure to have had her for our server!
Terrible from beginning to end. Waitress is not trained to work in a classy restaurant. Has trouble uncorking the bottle of wine. Does not even know what « bouillabaisse « is!! Even though it is one out of about only eight main dishes on the menu. There were bits of shell in our oysters! This is a restaurant that prides itself on serving the best oysters. They don’t serve bread. They charge for it!!!! Salmon tartar was wayyy too salty, so return it. They made a new one that was supposed to be much less salty.... it was still too salty. And bland. The bouillabaisse was supposed to be a lobster bisque base..... no lobster taste whatsoever. It was more like a tomato base. And very bland! The mussels were tiny...and very plain broth. The busboys are too eager to remove your plates.... so you feel rushed!!!!

Went there several times when it was Notkins and always had a good experience. Let’s just say the changes are several in the negative sense, don’t plan on going back.

Dirty plates. Poor quality and taste. If you like seafood I would steer clear. We ordered the seafood platter for two. The whole thing is filled with boiled potatoes and corn to make it look full and then the seafood part consisted of about (no exaggeration here) 10 muscles, 5 clams, and exactly two scallops and one lobster. The broth was tasteless. We felt very ripped off and insulted by the poor quality and lack of effort. When writing this review it reminds me of those restaurants that are run by the waiters until the chef arrives. Our dish was comparable to a reheated portion. Same goes for the fries. They were stale and tough. Just awful.
Très bon, service impeccable mais le rapport qualité - prix... un peu excessif. Malgré la qualité de la nourriture, un souper pour 2 à 429$ txes et services (une bouteille de vin), on s'attend à une plus grande expérience. Ça ne vaut pas le prix à mon avis.
The starters and the meal was very expensive. The wine was very good! The ambiance, the welcome and the service were perfect.

WOW.. I have seen the previous reviews for this restaurant and I was a little surprised at the harsher comments.. Yes.. there was a bit of a wait, however, the waitress did indicate that it would take time. We waited for about 30 minutes and should of ordered an appetizer. The raw platter experience was out of this world.. We often dine in this manner and I must say, the platter and presentation was incredible. Thank you for the amazing experience and the restaurant did not disappoint. A little pricey, perhaps, however, it is in line with the quality that I have seen in many other restaurants! Hats off to the crew at the Raw Bar on the evening of July 21st!!
Service was slow to start. Oysters and chef presentation was the best part of the evening. Clams and mussels with frites was dry and lacking sauce. We told the chef at the oyster bar and then the server. The server went to get more sauce that never came. We didn't eat the dish and after two complaints we were billed for the dish. I had to ask for it to be removed from the bill. Awkward.
I just went there for oysters 3 types for shucker choice of 12, they introduced well and u can choose ur favorite if u want a second round. Great value and fresh
Overall, pretty unremarkable. The food was so-so and pricy.
