Delicious and Fun. Four of us did dinner prior to theater (Aquarius) show. We selected from a varied menu of dishes which we shared as they were brought out in curated order by our server. Lots of talk about were the dishes large enough and would we be satiated, but after 6 menu items plus fries we had just enough room for a shared dessert. This style of eating is tapas-style which I'd heard of but never done. The food was fantastic with each dish a surprising treat for the taste buds. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly but the experience came at a premium given that with a single beer or wine for three of us the fare was about $55 per diner with tip. I picked the spot so the other three gave me grief about the cost but I have a feeling they'll want to sneak back to try some of the menu items we missed (and not waste stomach room with the fries next time).

For a dining experience not meant to be upscale, the ambience and service and overall experience was lovely, some tapas style servings were truly delicious, others delicious but not up to the expense. I would recommend this restaurant as fine casual dining.

Berkeley North never disappoints. We usually come in for dinner, so experiencing the lunch menu was a treat. Portion sizes are generous and the food, as always, is delicious. I absolutely can't wait to come back!

Excellent food! Very creative and tasty options - great tapas format - only drawback was a little bit loud as it is a smaller space

Fantastic food, great vibe and good value. Tapas portions were a tad larger than expected...but that’s where he value comes in. In Toronto, we would have paid the same price for smaller servings. Advice: order 5 items for 2 people; 6 was too much ... and no room for dessert.

What a great restaurant! We headed there after multiple rave reviews from different friends and we were not disappointed. The cocktails were delicious, the food was all delightful. Portions were very reasonable and the variety of flavours among the dishes was a wonderful culinary journey. We’ll be back, regularly.

The food at this restaurant sets the bar for all other dining experiences. The food is delicious, interesting and presented beautifully yet simply. Try to order something you don’t like. The cheese is freshly made, the pasta is light and you can taste the delicate flavour of butternut squash in it. The mushroom dumplings are flavourful and surprisingly light. The eggplant is delicious and the sauce on the arctic char is beautiful, creamy and tasty. The chocolate cake, delicious and rich, is served with butterscotch ice cream that adds flavour and lightness. The wait staff are friendly and know the menu. Our server orchestrated the timing of the shared dishes and changed our plates and cutlery after every course so we could enjoy each delightful dish as it should be tasted. My only suggestion would be to add a soft cushion on the chairs because the food at this restaurant is so goo that you’ll want to linger and try a few more dishes.

I visited this restaurant for my friend birthday. I didnt know that it was a tapas style menu but we were very jimpressed with the food. Our server Chloe was excellent and she explained the menu to us very well. She was there to pour wine etc. but didnt hover. We shared 4 dishes which were excellent. The chicken balls were tasty but didnt care for the texture and she had told us about this before we ordered. The cheese sourdough bread was so delicious. We ordered tempura shrimp and the chili beef with brussel sprouts was excellent. This is such a different experience. I would definately return. We didnt order desert as we were full but they all sounded good.

I have been previously and always find the food outstanding, however I have found the service professional but detached. Suggested BN with a couple friends who hadn’t been and they were also thoroughly impressed with the food and we loved our server as well! Looking forward to going back soon!

Came here with our daughter and her friend. The space is quite small and initially we were going to be right near the doorway but then they moved us to a cozier table. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and gave us good tips on the food and wine. We ordered about 10 tapas and shared them. Everything was excellent! The mushroom dumplings were out of this world and the eggplant was fantastic. We tried the tomato toast, the chips and dip, the duck pate, the duck salad, the fish and the shrimp- all were unique and delicious. Will certainly be going back.

The food here is just amazingly good. Amazing cocktails. The food is different but in a wonderful “dream about it later” way. They use the freshest ingredients and put everything together in a very unique way. Love that you can share so you get to try so many of the chef’s great creations. The avocado salad, mushroom dumplings, fresh cheese, tomato toast, tempura shrimp...all so good! Can’t wait to go again and try some other dishes.

This is a restaurant not to be missed is Hamilton. We enjoyed every dish we chose. The sharing plates were delicious with sizes perfect for tastings. Do try the sourdough bread with tomatoes. Service was excellent with perfect timing in the delivery of each plate. Excellent value especially if you arrive early enough to get a good bottle of wine at half price.

Our first time there and we were so pleased. The smaller portions for sharing is a great idea to try new and various things...the crispy eggplant was delicious! The entrees were a good portion without being huge...I had to crispy sweet and sour beef and my friend had the crispy polenta - both were excellent. We finished off with an amazing dessert. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for an occasion or just a casual meal.
