   We’ve been to Berkeley North multiple times, and never disappointed. Food is creative and tasty. Great atmosphere and patio. We are eagerly awaiting the opening of Matt‘s new restaurant on Dundurn. So many great choices in walking distance.

   Such a treat experiencing brunch with Berkeley! The service was incredible from Alex. The entire staff was great to our toddler, retrieving his thrown toys. From start to finish, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for hosting such a beautiful mother's day brunch!

   Tasting menu was excellent. Great cocktails. Wonderful service. Would reccomend for sure. Side note: there’s a public parking lot directly accross the street so parking is a breeze if you’re driving in.

    We have just returned from Spain where we enjoyed great tapas so were thrilled to find a "tapas-style" option here. Cheese plate literally had 3 pieces of cheese on it (not 3 types of cheese, just 3 pieces) and the BN salad was iceberg lettuce with 4 cherry tomatoes. And both of these were full price of an appetizer, not a tapas price point. So disappointed with the quality, it's definitely a rip off.

    Dinner at Berkeley North in Hamilton is the best way to end a work day. Amazing food, good value for price, restful atmosphere, excellent customer service, and the space designed so you can have conversations. Great patio too.

    Our first time on Monday,it was as our 30th Anniversary We are world travellers and foodies. Was one of the best restaurants we have been too. Everything was perfect, from the mixology to the food. Our server Louise was especially friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back!

    Three out of four dishes were very good; interesting and very tasty. The last dish we had, fried chicken, was overcooked - the coating was burned, fell off the chicken and was inedible. It should never have been served. Fortunately after we pointed out how bad it was, the charge for the chicken did not appear on our bill. Kudos to the wait staff. Service was fine but we were never sure which of several people who took our order, served our food and dropped by our table was actually our waiter. Surprising in such a small restaurant.

    Great evening! The location is perfect, with the wall to the patio opens the entire place feels incredible. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. We got 2 specialty cocktails each (4 in total) + the 6-course meal. In total it came to 180. This was an incredible meal with perfect portion sizes, the drinks were also delicious. Avacado Salad was refreshing and tasted like spring, I can't talk enough about the pot stickers and fried eggplant, and the Mushroom Ravioli was so perfectly cooked and designed! By the time the steak and fries came out, we had forgotten there was more food but were sooo happy to keep eating. The steak was a perfect medium temp, and the salt and butter added to the juiciness. Every person from the greeter, to our server to the runner (or chef?), was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We have already decided this will be a monthly occurrence and can't wait to come back again!

    Excellent and very attentive staff Very good mushroom dumpling appetizer, fantastic tuna crudo small plate The seafood pasta was good, but could be spicier, and needed grated pecorino to be truly delicious. Also, some nice crusty bread would have been good to sop up the great sauce.

    I found this little gem through researching fun and vibrant places to dine for your birthday in Hamilton. The moment I saw Berkeley North, I booked a spot and have no regrets! The ambience, service and food are all stunning and delicious - everything was fresh, and I loved the fact that most of the plates are made to share between two guests. My partner and I absolutely adored every bite! We will definitely be coming back again.

    Food was very good. We did the tasting menu (and added the homemade sourdough and cheese). It provided a bit of everything. The eggplant Teriyaki, mushroom gnocci, and steak frites were our favorites. We could have done without the avocado salad. The best service staff in Hamilton by far.
