   Amazing food. Everything on the menu is incredible. Allotted 2 hours to eat before a show. Asked the waitress many times to bring us the bill and she seemed in no rush at all to accommodate us. She was told numerous times throughout our stay that we were going to a show and had to be out at a certain time. There was no consideration taken.

   Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Enjoyed the March prix fixe menu with cocktails and wine. Was perfect! Also, clean well-appointed bathrooms, including an accessible one on the main floor.

   We did the planned dinner and it was perfection. I don’t even like mushrooms and the mushroom dumpling were amazing! Definitely a great experience eating out.

    I took my grandparents here for dinner and they loved it! The food was delicious and in good portions, and service was very quick. Glad this is where we went.

    This was probably my 8th time eating at BN. As always the food and drinks were amazing. The service however was definitely not up to the standard I’ve experienced in the past. My companion and I waited at least 15 minutes before we were approached to order drinks and it wasn’t that busy. Our server was friendly but didn’t seem experienced with pacing at all. Overall everything else was great. Just a little disappointing from a service aspect. Hopefully with more training this can be avoided in future :)

    Berkeley North was incredible, with the overall experience being amazing but with the excellent food the clear highlight. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Hamilton.

    We had a reservation through open table for 7pm but unfortunately there wasn't a table available for us till 7:45 and there was no space at the bar to have a drink. We ended up walking to the Mule for a drink while we waited. We mentioned to the server and they did offer an apology (not a drink or anything) but it was very inconvenient. Food and ambiance and service (other than that incident) were great otherwise.

    Always fantastic! Birthday dinner for my dear friend. Her first time at Berkeley North and she was beyond impressed. Our waitress (wish I could remember her name) was amazing and Noor made us the most delicious cocktails. Perfect evening as always. Can’t wait to come back!

    We had been here a few times in 2018/2019 and finally had our return visit. We had most of the small plates menu, six of the eight offerings, which were organized for us into complimentary pairing. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated; the dishes that didn't land for us kept us talking about the quality of ingredients and the skill of preparation. The service truly is outstanding and such care has been taken to make an amazing space. Whenever we think of having an evening out, Berkley North will certainly be top contender for us.

    Food was amazing, and prices were fair to maybe a bit high. But the atmosphere was also great so that made up for it. A couple details of our orders were wrong, but one was fine because the dish we got instead was outstanding. The other two were corrected quickly when I brought them up. Overall I really enjoyed this place for a Valentine's dinner and recommended it and go again myself.

    Cozy place , I went here for a 1st date. The food was top shelf. Very welcoming feeling and the service was also great. It was a little on the louder side for my liking but other than that everything else was immaculate!

    First time at this cozy, comfortable little place. My only regret was that I hadn’t gone there sooner! We were there early, but even when it started to fill up, the noise level was like a gentle hum of happy diners. Our server and his trainee, were very friendly and helpful but without hovering. All the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Had a lovely conversation with the owner, Matt, whose commitment to his customers having an outstanding dining experience and pride in his restaurant are evident. Now - the food! We had the mushroom dumplings, beef spring rolls and avocado salad as appetizers. The first two were my favourite (even though I’m not normally a fan of mushrooms). So many lovely Asian-inspired flavours. The avocado salad had great textures and flavours, and was good, but not our favourite part of the meal as it was a little more spicy and tangy than we would have liked. Next, we had steak frites with homemade mayo - so delicious! We managed to force ourselves to have one of each kind of profiteroles - a custard-filled and a chocolate mocha-filled. These were tasty too - a perfect end to the meal. Overall, a really lovely dining experience. I can’t wait to go there again.

    Now where should I begin... if you are living in the Hamilton area or are ever traveling through the area I HIGHLY reccomend this resturant to you and your family/friends. Weather it's a celebration or just a night out this place is for you! The service and food were outstanding and the vibe truely is the best in the city! Please do yourself a favour and stop by and eat here!

    Wow!! This restaurant was amazing! From the second we walked in, the staff was friendly, the ambiance was perfect and the food & drink were beyond anything I’d expected. My friend and I had the January tasting menu which was total perfection. There was a cocktail and mocktail menu - I had two mocktails (because the first one was so great I couldn’t stop myself from ordering another!) as something different & they were spectacular! I also have to rave about our server, Maddie - she was absolutely lovely. Attentive and friendly without being over the top and SO professional! I will definitely be back and raving about Berkeley North to everyone I meet between now & then! 10/10 and then some!!

    Fantastic service. Food was ok- to be honest, expectation a lot higher due to how strong the reviews are. We started with a kale salad- your average kale salad, great fresh/warm croutons, apart from that nothing out of ordinary. Steak and frites: steak cook perfect, frites. Gnocchi: cooked well, lacked flavour. Dessert: almond tart- lack flavour, server took critique well and waived cost from bill. Overall, excellent service and atmosphere but food below expectation.

    The staff were friendly and attentive, and had great food and drink recommendations. One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in the past few years. I'd highly recommend to anyone in Hamilton!!
