    Delicious Food came out piping hot. Started with soup and 2 appetizers and a salad. We all had a fish main course. Pecan pie was a hit. Latte was delicious. Would 100% return and recommend.

    Absolutely excellent. My partner and I went on a Monday as she wanted to focus on the oysters, I was more interested in the Open Range menu. I ended up having frog legs as an opener, with a boar chop and mushroom risotto with marrow bones on the side. The wife had a seafood platter, oysters, and we ended up getting desert as well. Our attendant was funny, courteous, and an all around great guy, food was awesome, and while it isn't cheap you could easily have the same bill at Moxies or the Keg and the food was far superior. Excellent experience

    Celebrating our wedding anniversary at our favourite seafood restaurant in Calgary. The food was wonderful, well presented and excellent both appetizers and main course. Everyone enjoyed their meal no negative feedback. Our server was great, attending to our needs and ensuring everything was perfect. Big Fish remains our favourite seafood place in Calgary.     Service was attentive and professional. On the whole, we followed the waiter’s recommendations and were rewarded by a fabulous meal. Presentation, freshness, taste, portion sizes did not disappoint. Due to moving away from Calgary, it had been 8 years since my last visit. I know of very few restaurants, anywhere, that have kept such a high level of quality for this long. Well done Big Fish!

    The oysters here were fresh and delicious. We went for lunch and the restaurant was not very busy, so it was quiet and the service was friendly and fast.

    The only negative was our server. She was nice enough and attentive but it felt like she was rushing us through the meal, trying to take our plates away when we weren’t finished …. Maybe she wanted to go home …. We were in and out in less than an hour and it was not busy there at all so it’s not like they needed the table. Unfortunate..

    We had a "generally satisfactory" dinner outing. We have always come here for a special occasion - in this case a major birthday. The restaurant has definitely taken a turn for the worse during this last visit and has in our view moved "down-market." Service was adequate. When making our reservation we were given an option to specify an "occasion" which we did fill out. But like the last time we did this, nothing special happended in any way. If that question is being asked, it would imply that a little somehting might be offered during our dinner. The waiter did relectantly stick a sparkler onto our $12 desert after we asked for it. Not a memory-creating occasion at all.

    We love this restaurant as there’s meat for my hubby & seafood for me! Consistently good food & service. Great wine specials. We’ve gone for our anniversary 3 years in a row & we always get 2 complimentary glass of Prosecco to celebrate.

    A fantastic evening for me and my three guests for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves seafood, but one of our friends is allergic to seafood. Having both the Big Fish menu and Open Range menu offered excellent options to satisfy everyone. The fresh oysters, shrimp & crab cakes, and steak bite appetizers were scrumptious. Mains of salmon, walleye, and steaks were done to perfection. We went on Free Corkage Night as well and our server was very attentive with handling our wine.

    Our party of four all had steaks, which were tender, juicy and cooked as specified. We loved the peppercorn gravy! There was also a nice selection of wine at reasonable prices. Our server was attentive and experienced. Will definitely go back!

    Good service, very attentive waitress. The entry portion was enough for 2 people. The meals were very good portions and very tasty.
