Bill’s was our chosen restaurant for lunch prior to a theatre matinée performance. The place was very busy with a queue waiting to be given a table so I was very please we had made a booking on Open Table. Wr had a couple of cocktails - an Aperol Spritz and an exceptional and well Presented Bloody Mary. The menu was very interesting and varied but we opted for sides and extras rather than a large main meal bearing in mind our forthcoming meals theatre visit! We both had a Mac ‘n Cheese, Spicy chicken dumplings, sticky duck salad and a side of smashed avocado. The food was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent and there was a really nice atmosphere. We will definitely revisit Bill’s in the very near future.

We are fans of Bills - not been to this one before. Usual great welcome and decor. Slow service - we had to call server over to order drinks which then took an age to arrive. Food was good but not great. Fish pie, whilst tasty, was way more mash than fish. There are so many other great places to eat in Brighton I really think they need to up their game. We won't rush back.

We took a friend to Bills for a belated birthday lunch. We had a really good lunch, reasonable priced wine. The decor is really unusual. Staff helpful and friendly. A good experience and we will definitely return soon.

Caned soft drinks only , something you expect from a food truck on the side of the road , but not a nice restaurant, (red flag) Wasn’t that busy, waited 50 minutes between appetiser and mains . Only one cut of beef on menu (rump) so I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad , taste was nothing special , but was served in a green leaf themed bowl that had no less than 10 chips and chunks where the fired finish was missing , and the bare cast was stained looking. I mention the state of the bowl, because it is a clear indicator of how little they care about their food presentation to the customer… It actually put me off of the meal !!! So disappointing, Bills has become just another restaurant that has dropped their standard , while raising prices … One appetiser, Hummus One cheeseburger and fries One rump, steak and chips One Caesar salad And three Coca-Cola’s (in the can) Two apple juice £80.50 … Will not be returning or recommending again.

Unfortunately our meals were not up to standard and we felt the obligation to inform management. The chicken breast was inedible and the Fish coujons resembled a plate from a fast food restaurant. Fries were cold upon arrival, and when I queried they were supposed to be Rosemary Fries, the waiter returned with the same exact basket of cold fries with a few rosemary sprigs sprinkled on top. Very disappointing.

Sorry to say but two of us had Classic burgers and they were very dry. The bun was dry and also the patty. Maybe extra relish / salad could help. The chicken & pulled pork were said to be nice. Loverly restaurant and friendly attentive staff. One meal was deducted and we appreciate the gesture. Will be back to try again .

The person who greeted us was friendly and efficient and we were shown to a nice high top table. The server was friendly also. It was quite quiet and the decor is very nice. As it wasn't very busy, waiting a good 10-15 minutes for some table water to be brought from the bar a few feet away, was a little annoying. Drinks arrived maybe another 10 minutes later and tasted good. The food all arrived as it should but the dishes were nothing special, unfortunately they seemed quite bland. Overall it was ok, but nothing made us want to return.

The place was amazing,had the rib-eye steak that was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth,had beef briskin burger that was tender and juicy and seasoned to perfection,got a little bit tipsy with the wife on there cocktails and they went down well with the food will defiantly be going back when we are in brighton again. 10/10 food 10/10 drinks 10/10 staff 10/10 price 10/10 venue

Not been to Bills for ages and only associated it with breakfast and brunch. We sat upstairs. The service was fantastic with really friendly staff. Food was great too and came quickly considering they were full. Great atmosphere! Will be back.

I had big brunch, it feels like it’s lost it’s way. The tomatoes had no flavour, the sausage was mushy, the toast tasteless. The only things that had flavour where the beans, the bacon and the black sausage. The pancake stack was not up to scratch either, low on fruit and high on syrup, it was nibbled at and left by one of the guests… We were just too polite to complain

Was very welcoming from start to finish, each member of staff was very efficient and understanding to make sure everything was to our expectations. The food was amazing too and the drinks were a lot better than other places we’ve been to here in Brighton. We would definitely say you should try this place out as it was definitely worth it!

We went for the brunch menu. The blonde had the brunch shwarma - really nice & very enjoyable. I had the chicken pancake stack. Tasty but..... there's a lot of it. I wasn't expecting the pancakes to be quite so large & dense (there were 3). I obviously didn't know what I was ordering - I was expecting the pancakes to be "scotch" pancake size. The could have been half the thickness. They were good to eat but, for me, 3 was too many. A shame to leave some. The service was excellent and the atmosphere great - just what you want at the weekend. I'd recommend it and I'd go again but probably choose a different option.
