Here at Birchwood we only serve dishes & cocktails that are fresh & flavourful. Our specialty salads are made with fresh ingredients locally grown at Cornwall's largest indoor vertical farm, ZipGrow Inc.

Don't expect fast food. Our intimate and warm atmosphere was created for you to enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer while our chefs create a masterpiece from scratch. Everything on the menu is made in house, including our sensationally decadent ice cream.

This is really a hidden gem. For my friend who is lactose intolerant and has severe seafood allergies there were not many options for her. She ended up ordering a salad without cheese. The food for the rest of was amazing, but we did feel bad for our friend. Great place to go if you don’t have seafood allergies. The atmosphere in the restaurant lovely.

We were treated like valued guests, the food was excellent and we were able to enjoy a quiet full course meal with another couple. We are seniors and they were very accommodating with their portions. We will certainly come back.

The hummus entre was lemony, delicious, plentiful, served with fresh pita and veg. I had the Mushroom risotto with figs and blue cheese. Outstanding! Service was friendly and efficient. We ate outside, and it was comfortable enough, but not special. The interior is quite nice.

From the time we walked in to the time we left the service was amazing. The food was not only fantastic but the presentation was top notch! Cornwall’s hidden gem!

Absolutely our favourite restaurant. There has never been a negative experience. The food is ALWAYS delicious and the service is terrific. It’s a neat little gem!

We arrived right on time for our 6pm reservation. We were greeted right away by our server who sat us right by the window. We were provided with menus and given a few minutes to decide on a beverage. We spent some time chatting (my sister and I), and so didn't take much time to look at the menu. Our server checked in and we weren't ready to order a drink yet. She offered us some more time without any sort of pressure. When she returned, we were able to order everything for the evening. We weren't sure about the appetizer and asked questions, which she answered for us without hesitation. Our server checked in on us regularly. Not too much and not too little. We were even offered a complimentary signature drink that was being introduced in the coming days. Vanilla cherry white sangria. It was wonderful. The food was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were great. It was my second time there and a first for my sister. We will both be back.
