   Biscuits and buns on Banks is my favorite brunch spot in New Orleans. The food is fantastic, and the murals on the wall add an extra touch for those coming in out of town. The food is always fresh and hot. The eggs are incredibly fluffy, and the potatoes are crisp.

   Used to love this place. Coffee is excellent, grits more than good, and omelet good. However, waffles were awful and biscuits were inedible. For a place called Biscuits and Buns, pastries need to be the shining star.

   Food was fantastic Crawfish beignets and the best remoulade French toast with dates in the syrup- heavenly Perfect omelette, potatoes, grits and biscuits And of course good strong coffee Our waiter was super! Great service, nice casual New Orleans atmosphere with great food The best breakfast spot in New Orleans

   Food was pretty good, but for a place with "biscuits" in the name, I actually thought they were just ok. Taylor was our awesome waitress, great service. The place is a bit rowdy with loud music - totally fine for us, but just FYI - and generally it wasn't the cleanest place. Still would go back based on food and fun.

   The noise level can be a plus. Everyone here was happy and telling stories and they ate the best New Orleans breakfast. This place is a must. Service and food as charming as the house this restaurant sits on

   We had an 8:15 reservation on Open table and when we arrived for he business breakfast meeting at 8:00 a.m. they were closed. Just happened, the owner or cooks or both were there and they allowed us in, waited on us and they were over the top nice by allowing us to eat prior to opening. Awesome people!    From the time we placed our order until we received our food it was over an hour. The food didn’t come out all together and many of the people in our group were done eating before some food arrived. Slow, unorganized service and it was like pulling teeth to get a refill on coffee. Then they made sure to add gratitudes to our order on the total not the subtotal. We went once cause we had heard good things but won’t be returning.

    The food was good. All the servers were happy and very accommodating. It is a very fun place. Great decor. Boudin balls were to die for! They had a problem with the kitchen though. Our main dishes took well over an hour to arrive.

    Worst place ever. Service terrible. Food just okay. We waiting an hour for food to be told they didn’t have certain items after ordering. The food was just fine but service was so bad. Do not recommend.

    Very disappointing. While the food was good, the experience was not. It took 50 minutes for the food to arrive from the time we placed our order. The new owner came out and said they were having “Mardi Gras problems” referring to being short staffed. We were never offered a refill on our drinks. Our room had 9 tables in it and none of us had food. In addition our table had a sticky substance around the edge of it. While the food was tasty some of the portions were also small - only 1 piece of toast for breakfast when a usual plate would have 2 - and just a small spoonful of potatoes. Probably not going to be on our list of places to return soon.

    I had breakfast there this morning with a friend and I was extremely pleased with everything. The decor was great, the food was amazing and the service was spectacular! Definitely a gem on Banks! I can’t wait to go back!

    Wonderful neighborhood find- so glad we got to try it! First off, the good: THE FOOD! So delicious and fresh. We had the shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, boudin balls, pork chop and eggs. We also got there a bit late due to traffic and the manager was so gracious and kept our table. The bad: Unfortunately the service was not super- Water pitcher with no glasses, the younger member of our party (6) got his sandwich very late, we had to go find our own syrup and condiments, and in general the server seemed uninterested in our table. The rest of the staff really picked up her slack. We tipped 22% because I figured it was a shared pool and I wanted to make sure the kitchen staff and other servers still made some money. All in all- This is still a place I'd go to in the future just for the food and ambiance.

    Loved this place! Best omelet I have ever eaten! Grits were very creamy, more like polenta and the biscuit, with butter and Steens Cane Syrup, was like dessert. Definitely a NOLA hidden gem

    Our visit started out great. Friendly waitress and appetizers arrived promptly, After placing our order for the meal, our waitress was a no-show for almost 40 minutes. When food arrived, it was obvious that it had been sitting ready for some time. Cold pancakes, biscuits and gravy with rock hard biscuits. Sent some of it back. Waitress acted like she was put out that we asked for hot food. Very disappointed. Won't be back.

    Delicious menu options. I wish I had tried the waffles as they smelled amazing. I had an omelette and potatoes and it all tasted good. The biscuit was yummy. Service was slow but the staff very nice.

    After locating them online, we were greeted on the street by the hostess. Very friendly, sat us at our table. Took the waitress a good five minutes to come to our table. There were two tables at the time. She was a space cadet. Black mold on the air ducts. Food straight from the freezer. Save your money. Way over priced. Awful experience, will not go back.

    My boyfriend and I stopped in on our way to the airport on 3/24 around noonish. We always make sure to stop here when we visit New Orleans because the food and atmosphere is one of our favorites of all the places we’ve tried in the city. This particular visit was made especially nice by our server this time around. We unfortunately did not catch her name but would like to give praise for exceptional service, unmatched kindness and just generally good vibes. She was great and made our day!     Being asked to stand outside for more than 20 minutes before being seated when I have a reservation is uncalled for also, the cook came outside after we left yelling something about my sister wearing a Cowboys jersey and told us “ don’t ever come back” unprofessional and inappropriate over her liking a different team. I do not recommend this restaurant/house to anyone.

    Wonderful brunch on a saturday morning with my husband and 2 little dogs! They have outdoor seating as well as a bench and chairs for guests waiting. Funky neighborhood with welcoming vibe The service is amazing, which I’ve come to fully appreciate in Covid times- and the food divine! Shrimp/grits, sausage hash with eggs, boudin, biscuits and potatoes! Loved everything and the waitress brought a piece of bacon for the pups so they’re in LOVE too! Small/limited tables so make a rez or show up first thing and hope for the best- we made a rez and requested outside. (No prob since it was chilly but tables filled up fast!!!)
