    There was no 2-bite check. No 2 minute “How’s everything so far?” after dropping off the mains. Potatoes were cold and stale. Some were too hardened to pierce with a fork. Side sausage had been cooked too far ahead, and was left to cool before serving. The plate itself should be warmed too as it sits alone. English muffin was not toasted. I could tell the eggs were done and the muffin was an afterthought. No offer for more water or a refill on the coffee. The Server was friendly and polite, but they did not perform any steps of service after taking the order until payment. We had been finished our meals for more than minutes before we stood up and put on our coats to leave when we were asked, “oh, would you like the bill?” We also had an 11-month old baby with us, which made this lack of attentiveness even more annoying. A waste of time and money.

    This is one of my favorite locations for brunch because of the service they provide and its ambience! Food is ok. Today I had Shakshouka and I wasn’t impressed by the taste but the look was fantastic

    Food and service were excellent! Small bistro tables are uncomfortable and cramped for 4 people. Suggest more comfortable seating and tables. Also some acoustic elements to reduce noise level.

    Hi Broadview Management, Unfortunately, our brunch experience wasn’t quite as we expected. I should start by saying we don’t have wild expectations but we do expect service to tick the bare minimum boxes. There were no major issues with the service initially but we did find the gentleman that took the order a little curt. Once we had finished brunch, we made the server aware that we intended to have coffees and pastries. 25-30 mins went by with little to no interaction from the staff and we still had our used brunch plates in front of us. The gentleman that took our order then came back over and presented us with our bill and told us the place was closed. We were given no warning of the restaurant closing. We made him aware that we were intending to order coffees etc but that moment had passed because of the lack of attention that we received. Obviously, we were left disappointed by the experience, even though the food we had for brunch was good. I just wanted to provide you with a little constructive criticism for next time. Regards John

    Should have asked for banquet seating for my party of three. Our table was cramped, drafty and cold. The manager was less than accommodating. Close to our office, I have lots of business meetings there. Will try again but ask for special seating. The food was so so, not as good as previous visits. We also felt rushed by the manager.

    I’m always surprised how little I enjoy the food given it’s a famous brunch spot. The avocado toast is mushy and tasteless. The restaurant is nice with a great vibe but the food is consistently bad.

    I had heard that the breakfast at the Broadview was great, but although the restaurant was not busy when we were there, our food came to us cold. There was really nothing special about either mine or my husband's food...very mediocre. The hotel and the rooftop bar were excellent, but we found the Bistro breakfast disappointing.

    It’s way too loud in the space likely exasperated by the height of the ceilings/size of the space. Our whole group struggled to hear each other.

    This is the bossiest app ever. Even this has to be 50 characters. To register for a lunch reservation, I was asked for everything except my shoe size - which was took my time and effort in such a boring pursuit. The food was delicious, the service sloppy and disinterested, and it was so loud there was little conversation. People go out for a meal to talk to each other and without shouting. Too many hard surfaces = poor restaurant design. We decided before we'd paid the bill that we wouldn't be back. Other places have good food too.

    Delicious food and beautiful venue! The wait time was a little long, however, the food quality made up for it! As well, our server was very personable, caring, friendly and thoughtful. We would gladly go back!

    Service was excellent. Our waitress was amazing!!! I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benny. It was very salty. Did not enjoy it at all 2/5. I also ordered the waffles. Over cooked on the edges but toppings and maple syrup were good 3/5. My daughter enjoyed her meal (Eggs Benny 3/5) and cocktails 4/5. Overall it was a nice establishment.

    Server was awful. Dropped our food off which took forever and then didn’t come by once to check on us. Ran out of water during the meal. When it was time to pay, we had to call another server to get our bill.

    We were guests staying at the hotel for two nights and enjoyed two breakfasts at the Bistro. Traditional breakfast and vegetarian options were offered by friendly staff. Food was well presented and tasty. Coffee barista options are also available. We will be back.

    Beautiful bistro with very friendly staff. We both had the trout almondine at lunch and both were blown away by the flavour - so delicious. Very bright, lots of choice seating. It got busy but not loud. Overall highly recommend if looking for a higher end dining experience
