A must visit when in Sint Maarten/Saint Martin. Great food, exquisite presentation and beautifully executed dishes. Our group had dishes from sea and land all prepared to perfection. They were even able to accommodate a person in our party with a gluten free meal.

Fabulous experience. Selected 3lb lobster magically turned into Lobster Thermidor. Outstanding. Ate ½ that evening. Saved reminder for next day lunch. Shank bone a tad off. Too much grizzle/fat compared to others we’ve had. Too much liquid and just dropped off the bone, not in a good way. Terrific service, stunning decor, but did not acknowledge anniversary.

Bistrot Caraibes is the one restaurant we keep coming back to each time we visit French SXM. It has the absolute best food with the most wonderful staff. The lobster thermador is a life changing experience. If you are visiting St. Martin and want to have a culinary experience to remember, make a reservation for Bistrot. You will not be disappointed. We had a fantastic dinner at Bistro Caraibes. When we are in Grand Case, we always stop in to get some lobster. I had the thermador and of course, it was absolutely amazing! My husband had the stuffed chicken and it was also great. Our service is always great as well. Thanks for another great evening!

The always welcoming staff sets the tone for a fun, friendly evening, that includes some of the most outstanding French cuisine on SXM. The chefs deliver wonderful flavoring and superb ingredients for both the traditional and innovative dishes that they offer. The hosts are always accommodating to the wishes of the patrons and do so with enthusiasm. Bistrot Caribe is a must visit for your dinner plans! Our return to Bistrot Caraibes was no disappointment! The food and service were amazing….our family had duck, steak, sea bass, fettuccini with shrimp, escargot, and desserts … all were excellent! By all means make an opportunity to treat yourself to this gem of the Caribbean !

Amazing Lobster Thermidor, however expect to pay (MP was 35 euros per pound). They are happy to let you split a larger lobster with your date. It’s a very special treat! I had the foie gras as an appetizer which was excellent. Loved the mango purée that accompanied it. My martini was made perfectly to my specifications with the addition of blue cheese with my olives. Nice wine list as well. Go later if the happy chatter of children (or sometimes not happy) is a concern and sit inside if street noise is not to your liking. There are only two tables on the road and Tuesday nights in season is Mardi Gras night, noisy and fun … you decide. The staff was happy and attentive, we will return!

Excellent from top to bottom. My wife had the lobster bisque which was good. I had the French Onion soup which was fantastic. I had the fisherman pot which was so very,very good. My wife had the the snapper that was delightful. The service was wonderful and the wine added to the meal. This is a must stop in Grande Case.
