In the 21 years that we have been coming to Bistrot Caribe it has not missed a beat! The always welcoming staff sets the tone for a fun, friendly evening, that includes some of the most outstanding French cuisine on SXM. The chefs deliver wonderful flavoring and superb ingredients for both the traditional and innovative dishes that they offer. The hosts are always accommodating to the wishes of the patrons and do so with enthusiasm. Bistrot Caribe is a must visit for your dinner plans! We have gone for several years to the restaurant and every time we were there has never had a disappointed meal. The staff and owner are gracious and very accommodating. We plan to reserve again on Open Table and go back again in 2024.

Our return to Bistrot Caraibes was no disappointment! The food and service were amazing….our family had duck, steak, sea bass, fettuccini with shrimp, escargot, and desserts … all were excellent! By all means make an opportunity to treat yourself to this gem of the Caribbean !

Nous venons a Saint Martin depuis 7-8 ans ,deux ou trois fois par an,nous servons des repas a chaque fois au Bistro Caraibes j ai ecrit de nombreuses review avec plaisir,nous ne sommes pas amis,nous ne mangeons pas gratuitement,j ai toujours essayez de trouver quelque chose de negatif,je ne peux pas,peu importe combien de mots ils sont parfaits,essayez-le et vous verrez ce que cela signifie chez Bistro Caraibes,merci encore une fois,Marius et Dorina,Roumanie.

Amazing Lobster Thermidor, however expect to pay (MP was 35 euros per pound). They are happy to let you split a larger lobster with your date. It’s a very special treat! I had the foie gras as an appetizer which was excellent. Loved the mango purée that accompanied it. My martini was made perfectly to my specifications with the addition of blue cheese with my olives. Nice wine list as well. Go later if the happy chatter of children (or sometimes not happy) is a concern and sit inside if street noise is not to your liking. There are only two tables on the road and Tuesday nights in season is Mardi Gras night, noisy and fun … you decide. The staff was happy and attentive, we will return!

Dinner was a great, my wife had the Salmon and I had the Sea Bass, both cooked to perfection. We had the same apps, an endive salad and a surprise birthday sing out for desert. Food, service and ambience was great!

Excellent from top to bottom. My wife had the lobster bisque which was good. I had the French Onion soup which was fantastic. I had the fisherman pot which was so very,very good. My wife had the the snapper that was delightful. The service was wonderful and the wine added to the meal. This is a must stop in Grande Case.

This is my favorite restaurant in St. Martin! The food is excellent. The service is definitely 5 star. This restaurant is not located on the water front but a nice breeze will keep you cool. You cannot go wrong if you dine here.

Definitely a must try for exquisite food and experience. Was a bit loud but we just went with the energy and it was fabulous! Wish my stomp was bigger to try more food. We ordered escargot and carpaccio to start and both were lovely. The carpaccio had an herbed oil to drizzle and was perfectly paired and the escargot had an added herb as well to the garlic butter sauce. Our son ordered duck breast and was divine. I was jealous of his order but he was kind enough to share a bite with the perfectly paired sweet sauce atop the meat. My hubs ordered the beef filet and it too, was perfectly cooked medium rare accompanied with the mushroom brown sauce. I ordered the sea bass and it was really good, but wished I had ordered a different protein since it was a classic French cuisine. The desserts were amazing as well and perfectly decorated. Classic creme brulee, “lava cake” and perfitoroles with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
