After our second time dining here, we’re committed to being regulars. They have the best bison tenderloin in town and the service is excellent. A must try!

We loved everything about Bitterroot! The staff was fun and accommodating, and the food was delicious —especially the beef tartare and trout dip.

Food and service were excellent. Portions generous including the wine pours (by the glass). Ambiance is fine, the restaurant is small and not fancy. We had the croquettes, trout, and bison tenderloin. Would recommend all. Food was a bit pricey though there are lower cost options such as half-chicken and a burger, which we have not tried.

Food waaaaay to salty. Order the croquets...salt burned our mouths. Ordered the beef pasty...same...too salty. Ordered the Trout entree. Not nearly as good as 3 weeks ago on July 6th when had it then. Disappointing...won't go back again!

I had a terrific meal at Bitterroot Bistro. It’s always a gamble ordering trout but I was very impressed and could not have been happier. My companion ordered the buffalo tenderloin and loved it! Plus they serve pasties! Don’t see that every day. Very authentic Montana style fancy cuisine.

It was on the pricey side, but the food was amazing. We also felt like we got a lot of food. My son and I ate there and discovered it through open table. The service was incredible, very friendly and warm. I ordered the trout, and my son ordered the pork chop. We also had the trout dip with homemade bread. Everything was excellent.
