It was not a pleasant experience at all. The restaurant did not want to honor the reservation and questioned me when we checked in. The service was very slow and we had to constantly keep trying to track down our server. The restaurant is severely understaffed. I will not be returning.

Ordered the cherry wood glazed salmon. The salmon was very good but the asparagus was terrible. The waitress even brought me a replacement order and they were the same. Very tough and hard. Could not cut them with a knife.

We had a reservation for 4 people at 8PM this past Saturday evening. When we arrived at 8PM our first sight was the hostess' table and she had a dirty rag sitting in front of her. We then had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. There were numerous vacant tables. There was 1 group before us and 1 group after us. Neither had a reservation and they were seated in the same time frame as us so what is the point of making a reservation if we're treated the same as customers who don't have one? Once we were seated and our drink order was taken it took 15 MINUTES TO GET IT. One of the items we ordered were the beef sliders with french fries. The menu describes them as "four beef patties/fluffy mini buns/grilled onions/lettuce/dill pickles/ketchup". All we received were 4 patties on buns. They had NONE of the other items and tasted so try it was like eating cardboard. Since we had french fries, we asked for ketchup. Took 10 minutes to get. Also, once the food came we had no silverware or napkins. Had to spend a few minutes finding our waitress to get some of those. REALLY, REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. I hope these comments help you to improve the dining experience for future customers. We won't be back.

Not enough sauce on the baked ziti and the Ahi tuna salad had a very small portion of tuna. Disappointing to say the least

My hamburger Patty was very cold. I asked for a well done burger but it appears that this restaurant cooks them a day in advance and doesn't bother to reheat the patties when an order comes in. Big disappointment. Won't be eating there wver again.

Our waiter, Coty was superb. Very attentive and most helpful in making our choices. My husband and I ordered the New Orleans Jambalaya. I asked that mine not be very spicy but my husband wanted his spicy. Coty instructed the chef perfectly! Mine was great and my husband’s was definitely very spicy which he liked. The others in our party were also very pleased with their food and the service. BJ’s is one of our favorite places to go.

The food was horrible. Hamburger was over cooked, jambalaya had clumps of seasoning, pasta was undercooked. Sides dishes were flavored wrong. We won’t be back. Completely overpriced.

I've always liked BJ's, but this last visit was lacking something. The pizza was like a decent frozen pizza, but not what I've had in the past. The drink specials were good and it was pretty low key on a Tuesday evening. So, nice for visiting and having some drinks. The wait staff seemed spread a little thing and our seating options (even with a reservation) were slim due to the limited staff. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't great. I will go back for the casual vibe, but will order drinks and an appetizer next time.

Service was slow for the small amount of patrons. Waiter had started job one week earlier. Food was good. Beer was good. Host was slow to sit us as we arrived 10 minutes early for a 7:00 reservation. Got sit at 7:10. Cook came out to help define foods on menu available for wife’s food allergies and was willing to make something special.

Unfortunately the server we had needed a little more customer training. We spoke to manager and he was very sympathetic to the many challenges during our meal. The meal was very good. The restaurant did a great job with covid procedures. Despite the server challenge, which did appear to be just our server; it was great to be out eating dinner. Thanks BJ’s and management.

Made a reservation but then had to wait for 30 min anyways. Then when we got sat the service was horrible and we sas at the table for 30 min before we saw our waitress and that was after telling the host after 15 that we hadn't seen her yet. Missed happy hour because of that with no offer to try to make up for the terrible service. Then after that it took roughly 15-20 minutes after re-ordering drinks to actually get them and to get napkins and condiments to be able to eat, as we sat and our food got cold.

Madison was awesome. Right on the Beer refills as a Good server should be. Too many times I go to places waiting for them to come around. I was at a 1/4 glass and she was dropping the next one off.

Friendly service from calling in to the wait list to the server to the manager stopping by to thank us for our business. And the food was, as always, delicious. BJs is our favorite place to go as a family as there are many options for all - and all options are good ones!

My husband’s steak was very undercooked and cold. He could not eat it. Our waitress was the bartender as well. It was too much for her. Our service suffered because of it. The manager did apologize, and adjusted our bill.

Was a perfect stop. We moved our daughter into UVA and we’re leaving for home but she had some time between classes for lunch and BJs had a great lunch menu and really accommodated our limited time. Food was great and atmosphere is fun casual. We’ll go back for dinner when we come back to visit !

Not a great experience. The bar was terrible, with multiple mixups on beers and cocktails...who confuses a pilsner for a stout, and a dirty vodka martini for a gin martini? This place. The waiter tried, but we never got waters for the table, everything was slow, followed by a canned "sorry for the wait." I doubt we'll be back.

They were out of the pork chops so I had the Jambalya. Worse dish I've had for a long time. It tasted like the dish was prepared weeks ago sitting in a fridge covered w/saran wrap then nuked to temp.

Yes I love this place, we have celebrated my birthday and my son's birthday and my moms birthday within the last year. The avocado eggrolls I just tried and were AMAZING! Thanks for a great experience again!

Celebrating a birthday at BJ's Brewhouse was a great idea! Six of us enjoyed six different entrees - all were cooked well and enjoyed by each of us. It was a busy Friday night, but our food and our drinks arrived promptly. Looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I visited our daughter for parents' weekend at UVA. She brought a couple of friends along. Despite the massive crowds throughout the University's area, I was able to book a table several days ahead of time, and we were seated immediately. There was a line of patrons waiting to get in, but we had no problem. After 3 appetizers (all good) 6 entrees and a couple of beers, the total was still under $200. Good food, good service.
