How did I not find this place before? The Calamari and Octopus appetizer is absolutely delicious. They have huge drumsticks that fall off the bone. The pork shank is just massive. They make their own pasta from scratch! Will be back, for sure.

This restaurant is fantastic. The food was delicious. The server was so helpful and accommodating. The menu changes every month which is so interesting. A very unique concept and venue. Great if you like to be adventurous.

On Sunday, they have a Jazz Brunch (nice concept) but a very limited, egg heavy brunch menu.......

We felt so welcome from the moment we walked in. Great staff - attentive and very knowledgeable. The food was amazing (you wouldn’t know the stroganoff noodles were gluten free), and the menu changes regularly so there’s always something new to try.

It was busy for a weeknight. Owner Mark greeted us. Appetizers arrived promptly and were good quality although not generous in portion. Entrees were all good and we loved the chicken w spaetzle although the latter should have been warmer. Kale salad was superb, garnished w fresh cranberries. Fruit cobbler was too tart. Service was okay but prefer more detail to clearing dishes timely. Nearby table was very loud. Overall, would return again because of the effort put into the food.

I really enjoyed myself. They have great pomegranate margaritas & appetizers. The manager coming over to introduce himself and welcome us was really nice.

Service and food quality were not as expected. Shrimp was overly fishy and server did not check in nor ask for second drinks orders. For the price, it was not worth it.

Black Rock Social House should be everyone’s next brunch, lunch, and dinner spot, regardless of your diet. The fact that all the food is gluten free is so surprising because I have never had a bad meal here.

Kudos to the owner for filling a much needed gap in town - prices and quality cannot be beat.

Thank you SO much for your kind words. It means the world to me. We are working hard to redefine and change the stigma of what gluten-free cuisine is about. Please come back and visit us again. My house is your house. Welcome!

Food was okay. Nothing spectacular. Noodles in
small plate were under cooked.

Items on menu not available.

Only two tacos on the small menu for 12 dollars. Not good value for location.

Sorry to see small crowd.

Decent value.

Might as well have eaten at the local Gymboree—some staff person’s kids were running and screaming around the restaurant. For the price this restaurant is charging for meals, I would not have expected that atmosphere. The food was good as was the service, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. I would not come back.

Black Rock Social has developed a fascinating, dynamic dining experience that goes beyond the excellent food. In addition to bringing people back together (safely), they rotate their geo-gastronomic menu monthly so the experience is fresh and delicious each time you visit. The owner, Mark, takes personal pride in providing an exceptional experience and this commitment to the guests is pervasive from the moment you arrive until you leave.

We chose six dishes from the Noshable menu, including one from the featured country, Germany. Our only challenge was deciding which was our favorite! It was a six-way tie!!!

Truly we have a unique and wonderful treasure in the area!

Everything was very good there, especially for me, because as a celiac, I always have to watch everything I eat in a restaurant, but as 100% gluten free, it was a delight and rarity for me!
The "meh" grade I gave ambience was primarily for the outside, parking lot seating...not sure what can be done to improve it, but it just didn't feel right, so we opted for inside dining as the front area was full.

Went there for an event and they were only serving Brunch, which made total sense. The Mimosas and Bellinis were delish. Prices are reasonable and food was very good (hard to rate eggs, toast and sausage) and the portions were ample. The home fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned and the bacon was delicious.....looking forward to going back!

Wonderful place for those with Celiac or gluten intolerance/allergies. Nothing that comes out of the kitchen has gluten in it (yes, even the pasta is gluten free).

As someone who needs to eat gluten free, I really appreciated that I could order off of the entire menu, and it was all delicious. The drinks, the food, the desserts... it was all wonderfully prepared, and my husband (who is not gluten free) and I both enjoyed it and said we would definitely go back to try out lots of other options on the menu.

Great addition to Black Rock area. Drinks, staff, atmosphere was awesome. Went for drag bingo brunch and it was a blast, hope they keep doing this type of event. Ordered the Dominican breakfast, my only observation is that it says mofongo but what you get is mashed sweet plantains which is not mofongo. Overall great brunch!

I’m celiac and was really nervous despite being told everything was gluten free. I couldn’t believe the range of the menu and the quality of the food. We got drinks, appetizers, entree and desserts. Everything was delicious, the service was wonderful and for once I left a restaurant having eaten way too much food.

There was plenty of outdoor seating which was great because my friend and I are not yet comfortable eating indoors. I am gluten-free so I was thrilled to go to a restaurant with all GF food. My friend also loved it and she is not gluten free. We were there for brunch and split the gravlax plate and the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken was amazing and a real treat for both of us. All the food was great and the service was terrific. We will definitely be going back. I only wish I lived closer.

My daughter with coeliac disease was so happy to come to a regular restaurant where everything was safe for her.

We really loved the lomo saltado, pasta, artichoke char and bouillabaisse.

Overcharged us on the tip. The machine/system is pre-set. People are getting overcharged. They resolved it, but it shouldn't have happened.
