The food was phenomenal. Service was great. Staff was very helpful
I love the delicious-gone-casual food in this place, but they can't seem to get the service piece right. We had a strangley long wait to be seated - reservation, place not full - and long wait every step of the way. It wasn't "I am leaving" long, but it was "what is going on with these people?" long. Perhaps they will have it all sorted by the time season begins, because I want to go back for another flatbread soon! (And their burgers, done with imagination and flair, are to die for.)
It was an OK place but overpriced . There are an abundance of places that are a better value.
Host staff needs a refresher course on smiling and greeting customers, fortunately our server, Julio, more than made up for their missteps. Good food and something on the menu for everyone.
Went for Mother's Day brunch. Great buffet! However, nowhere was the price listed. Surprised at the cost of the buffet. Should have asked first.
Enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch. Food and service were exceptional. Will be back!
Mother’s Day Brunch was fabulous! We loved everything we tried & would absolutely go back!
Birthday dinner...very loud dining room where the music exponentially added to the noise level. Service was very slow...but the food was delicious! Scallops and risotto, filet mignon & snapper were all excellent!
We went for my husband's birthday. Overall, it was a pleasant but not an outstanding experience. Below I have briefly listed + and -.
+ they take reservations, food quality was good with nice portion sizes, waiter was friendly, a nice list of custom cocktails, we did not feel rushed
-I noted on reservation that it was my husband's birthday but no staff wished him a happy birthday, although a nice list of custom cocktails many of these were not available and all cocktails are overpriced, entrees had reasonable range of prices but starters and sides are over priced and along with cocktails and wine must be where they are making their profit, entire table was sticky, clientel was poorly dressed for what I think is trying to be an upscale establishment, this is likely because of location in the ocean block but some guidelines like collared shirts and shorts with hems at dinner service might help bring in some folks willing to pay for a good meal with no waiting at a reasonable price if the atmosphere was a bit more upscale, we are unlikely to return because the price and atmosphere are a mismatch for us
We had visited this past Oct & had a fantastic meal. We were somewhat disappointed this trip though, wine list was in transition & they no longer served a Reisling (my wife's fave) and they were out of our preferred appetizer as well. (We did have a great shrimp app as an alternate though). Bartender a bit of a curmudgeon. Steaks were ok, but nothing to write home about. It was our anniversary so, we wished it had been more enjoyable, but will perhaps give Annapolis location a try.
Cool decor but kitchen and service needs to get it together before busy summer season. The place was desolate on Sunday. No warm greeting from the bartender. I ordered the steak frites- medium. Not only did it take much longer than expected..the steak was well done and the fries were thick cut steak fries, undercooked but reheated. Yuck! The manager was really rude when I told her to take my meal off my bill and yes they had me pay for the wine. Will not be a patron there again.
I continue to eat at this establishment due to the great service and awesome food that I get here. I have eaten here multiple times and I have tried different menu items and all have found to generally surpass other local area restaurants.
Our waiter was terrible. We waited for 1 1/2 hours to get our meal. The waiter was unable to answer any questions and he had a trainee with him. I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and after 45 minutes, the manager came over and said that the Mahi Mahi was not up to the chef's standards that day. I should have been told that when I ordered. I had to pick another option and I chose shrimp. The waiter delivered my tacos with 2 shrimp on each taco. We had also ordered Zucchini Frites for an appetizer and was told that was not up to the chef's standards either.
We will probably never dine here again.
Beginning to be our fav for RB - probably our 4th or 5th time back since late spring 2017. Always a great menu and service
Our waitress was amazing , and food was really good, get there early for the prime rib because run out early
Most of the food on the menu was unavailable due to upcoming menu changes which was disappointing. Food was average to poor. My husband’s ahi tuna steak was overdone and underseasoned. The side brussel sprouts were undercooked and hard. The cast iron chocolate chip cookie dessert was very dry and sandy in texture.
The prime rib was delayed due to they were cooking more . When I ordered the steak the waitress immediately told us the length of time it would be and offered us a chance to reorder. We stayed that was not a problem and the time was actually shorter than expected.
I believe service like that is just the normal procedure here.
Good food and good dervice
Excellent food served promptly. Varied menu with something for everyone. Great atmosphere. Just steps from the Ocean. Eat and then walk along the boardwalk. Knowledgeable staff who take the time to explain things. And while you are there you can figure out what a blackwall hitch was used for!
Wonderful service, friendly & courteous. Great food but missed the corn bread.
Ike, our server was attentive and informative and the food was good.
Sunday Brunch was just ok. Food not great, just an average steam table buffet. Did not replenish entrees. Service was good and very efficient. Probably would choose to go elsewhere next time.
Had a lovely time, the service and the food was great! Will definitely come back
Easter Sunday Brunch-
We were overcharged for Sysco breakfast food. The staff did work hard, though.
I feel Open Table owes me points as we would have never have eaten brunch there otherwise. We have eaten in great restaurants with the app all over the country ( I have 8700 points!)
We won’t use it again in our home town.
There for Easter lunch/buffet. Layout of the buffet line was clumsy and not efficient for the guests. Hot food lines up on the bar. Omelette section with only two burners was at the start of the line which created a logjam. Food was good when you could get to it.
Had Easter Brunch. Food quality was "spotty" and was not hot. We did not have the omelet bar/waffles but it looked good. Carving station meat was very good. Chicken breast in trays was hard, dry and overcooked...could not eat. Pasta and vegetables were limited and not very good. Only starch was a homefry-like potato...they were good. The normal Sunday brunch menu was on the table...the prices were: Brunch $28, Mimosa $2, Bloody Mary $5. For Easter the prices were: Brunch $33, Mimosa $5, Bloody Mary $8. The place was jammed...I didn't see the need to raise the prices just for a holiday and "just because they could".....seemed greedy. In general, this is a good place...I will go back for lunch & dinner but not the brunch.
We went for an Easter brunch buffet and were a bit surprised by the price - $33/person. It was good, but not THAT good...
Our family went to Rehoboth for Easter vacation and had Easter brunch here. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! No complaints whatsoever. My favorite must have been the crabmeat omelette. It was a good balance and lots of choices, because I love seafood and my wife does not. We both enjoyed it very much.
We were charged $5 more per person and $3 more per drink than was on the menu placed in front of us when we sat down. Luckily I had taken a picture of the menu. When I hit my bill I went to the front desk and hostess said that’s the price but got a manager. The manager was nice apologized and said the wrong menus were put out for 1st seating he did adjust the price, however I feel as though had I not noticed this I was definitely bring overcharged as I’m sure others were.
The food was ok. The chicken was over cooked and dry and the roast beef was over cooked and tough as well.
We eat out quite often but honestly I won’t be going back, last time I went here food was mediocre as well. Although I might say my server was great and he got a well deserved tip!
Have always enjoyed the food here since opening - looks like for the new season pricing increased on a number of items- had the braised short rib dinner hardly any meat and the meat that was in the dish was very fatty. Mostly potatoes for $28 dollars.
Food was not near what was advertised. Won’t make a second stop or refer this to others. Disappointed :(
Wait staff was really professional and knowledgeable; lots of great food options and location is great to stroll on the boardwalk after your meal.
Good was awful! Ordered turkey Cobb salad which had cut up turkey loaf in it. Had that shiny, fake look. Tasted terrible. Sent it back. Ordered Maryland crab. Was room temperature! Had fried green tomatoes app, added crabmeat on top for $8. Was only like a few small crab pieces. Salad and soup were taken off bill. Server was nice, felt sorry for her because were lots of complaints all around us. Don’t go , I’ll never return!!!
Checked in but apparently you failed to let Opentable know I made and fulfilled my reservation. They emailed and asked why I was a NO SHOW and please cancel on the future. I was surprised and taken aback by this email as I did indeed have brunch with you. Opentable then had me send them a picture of the receipt to PROVE I was there. They could of and should have asked you to check your receipts instead. Not sure if this was a sign that you don’t want my future business but never had any issues with your competitors in Rehoboth when using Opentable. This error put a sour taste in my mouth for your restaurant.
Had a very good experience. Food was very good, but a bit pricey (though not out of line for a resort town). I’d go back. Several things on the menu looked good.
For starters we had the Zucchini Frites and Flaming Crab Dip which were very good. My husband had the Bayou Penne which he enjoyed and brought some home and my daughter had the Filet Mignon which she also enjoyed. I ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Mac and Cheese and requested that they leave off the Cherry Pepper Relish because I didn't like anything spicy. When my meal came it was very spicy and I couldn't eat it. They did offer to bring me something else but by that time everyone else was enjoying their meal I declined the offer. I took my meal home since I knew my husband would be able to eat it the next day. I wish they would have told me it would still be spicy even without the Cherry Pepper Relish because I would have ordered something else.
Everything about our visit was great. Food was amazing. Service was great. Will definitely be back the next time we are in town!
Had been at restaurant before and enjoyed meal so when saw they were having a Prime Rib and Shrimp special on Friday night, just had to go back to try it and the price was right. We were not disappointed in the meal, service, waiter, IKE. and the ambience. Love the décor of the place and I am sure it is packed in the summer time so glad to go there in off season as parking is at a premium on Rehobeth Ave in season. Prime Rib was served just as ordered and great flavor. Menu has a variety of entrees and specials which sounded delightful as well.
