    BLK has great food, terrific view, great service, menu has a lot of variety, small plates, burgers, fish. Everything we had was excellent, only issues I have with BLK are noise issues, sometimes kind of loud, due to hard surfaces, not what I would describe as a cozy, romantic eatery. But, otherwise, really good HB restaurant.

    I like BLK, good food, fun place, great view of HB,to use the phrase energetic for noise, I would say, wrong, it's very noisy, not a quiet, romantic spot at all, especially since the bar is right next to main dining area. We had difficulty hearing the server and each other, it was a Saturday night, very busy, and packed. we're local, so we understand. One thing that annoyed me was a guy was smoking a cigar in the patio area, just outside the dining room, the doors were opened, so no way to avoid the odor. I don't understand why anyone would smoke a cigar near people eating. I don't know what policy is on smoking, they were outside, just near the people eating.

    We have loved this location and frequented here when it was Spark. Loved the new decor and service was good. However the price of entrees is ridiculous ($30 for a thin piece of halibut all by itself on a plank.) You get nothing with your entree...no veggies, rice, salad...nothing but the meat on a platter and it wasn't close to $30 worth. It has always been pricey but we were very disappointed with the prices for what we received. Even burgers are $18 for just a burger. No burger tastes that good. We love the location and would love to come back but not unless there is more value for the money.

    The food was just not good. Crab legs were flaccid, burger over cooked, coconut shrimp burnt and served with some sort of flavorless mush, Caesar salad was ok but over dressed with wilted lettuce, Moscow Mule was watered down and tasted like it had ginger ale not ginger beer. Pretty awful food for the price. Service was great and it is a gorgeous restaurant, something I often see too much of, all the effort is in the interior design and not the food. I will never go back.

    We were lucky to have a reservation on a sunny day! We had a lot of fun, decent food offerings for the buffet, and the bottomless mimosas really made it worthwhile. They accommodated a large party while we were there, however it didn't really impact us or the buffet. It would be nice to be able to order off a menu, even an abbreviated one, instead of just the buffet. We were ok with the buffet. If you're looking for a view and a reasonable menu, this place is for you!

    Such a lovely menu! The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Nice thick cuts of swordfish grilled over a very hot flame - moist inside and crispy surface the soups and salds were organic and farm to table.

    Lovely restaurant, fantastic service, beautiful view. Scallops were fantastic!! Crab legs were a bit disappointing. Will definitely go back. I wish I could remember our servers name. She was an absolute delight.

    Great spot and good interior. I want it to be great - even good- but it's just not. And on a Friday night, only half the place was seated. It's not good. But if they fix the food (bland, Swiss cheese draped over sea bass, boring sides, blah bread) we might all get to enjoy it for years to come.

    This place is s unique addition to Huntington, especially for locals who crave new restaurants. Awesome views, good food. I will be going back. Cheese plate and Kobe beef were excellent!

    I think it was a bad night for service ..I contacted them to voice my concerns but never heard a reply. The crab legs where way overpriced for the serving size..go to Captain jacks…service was very slow. meals luke warm. they kept forgetting our order. We had a lot of difficulty sending a round of drinks to friends at another table. I like the look of the place but nervous about going back and spending this amount of money for a bad experience.

    The ambiance is amazing! Best location in HB and finally a little culture in a local restaurant. However service was terrible. Nice waitress, but sooooo slow and a bit disorganized.

    Do not try the Lamb - it was very disappointing. It was almost as if our server was trying to warn us when she said it would be braised and tough to make Medium. It may as well have been boiled. Our dog enjoyed it at least. I wish we had just ordered a burger as they looked pretty good.

    Was very surprised of the the changes they made from Sparks Wood Fire Grille as we used to come their alot.The service was very good and the food was plentiful.It seem to run quite well for just its second week being opened. However the reception desk seem disorganized and did not credit us with our Open Table points.

    Celebrated an anniversary here. The updated decor and the view is fantastic. Food is excellent and the service was great. They got a little busy at the end and slowed down with dessert, but that gave us more time to enjoy it.

    the filet was cooked perfectly and he said the best he ever had. I had the sea bass and it was the best I've ever had! Frustrating that we were sat at table over 6 min until greeted by server and had drink order taken. Food is all a la cart except one dish. The sweet potato fries, snap peas & bacon green beans were all really great!

    When we arrived, we were shocked to see a new name and under new management. Since it still shows as Spark on Open Table. But thank goodness, the food, service, and quality were equal to, if not a tad better than Spark! Good job and kudos to the chef! We will be back even with the new name BLK.

    Spark is undergoing a renovation, very close to being finished. Not a big deal though, the food is terrific, views of HB and the beach, terrific. Service, excellent. Menu has changed slightly, restaurant is being renamed, new owner, but still keeping some of the menu items from Spark. For an appetizer, try the Tuna Tower, delish, also the Calamari was awesome, my husband had the Kobe Burger, stuffed with blue cheese, he said it was fantastic. I had salmon, which was delish, too.

    Was greatly disappointed in my recent visit. If they insist on staying open during their remodel, the least they can do is clean the floors before they open the doors. How long could it take for a quick mopping? Took my mother for her 86th birthday and was embarrassed.

    Spark used to be an wonderful restaurant, years ago. It has a great view of the ocean in Huntington Beach, and it used to have a good menu, warm décor with lots of wood and interesting lighting, and great food. Now the menu is limited, the food is pretty good, and they are remodeling it an industrial theme with open ceilings and corrugated steel on the walls - making it over all much less attractive and more casual. But it still has that great ocean view, and the service is good.

    The place is being remodeled. They should close for a couple days to finish. The food was great. Except for the French fries which were obviously refried in old oil.

    I think they would best have closed during their remodel. They are pretty far along but it detracts from the dining experience. Food: we ordered a 12 ounce rib eye to split and it was so thin it could only be overcooked. We ordered it med rare and made a point to say red in the middle....didn't happen and it was $41.95!! It should have been excellent at that price. The salad we ordered was very good and very generous. My husbands vodka on the rocks was $13 which was very pricey for this level of restaurant and my wine was $14/glass. The waiter said it had be $18😱 I think they need to reevaluate what they want to be when fully opened because this is not a fine dining spot but has potential to be a very good restaurant. We'll check back in a few months and check on profess because it does have a nice view.

    Everything on the brunch buffet was excellent and there were LOTS of choices. We sat outside and watched the waves while we ate. I can't wait to go back.

    went here to have view of sunset great spot newly redone nice decor food amazing one downside for me was waiter mentioned the specials which I ordered just to be shocked at the 41 dollar price tag when I got the bill. wish he would have mentioned made my great meal end on a low note. the steak was good but not 41 dollars good. ask the price on specials if the server does not mention or else you may be shocked. Corn chowder amazing!

    Spark has been sold and is under renovation by a new owner to be completed by the summer. The outdoor seating area is open but with plywood barriers so there is no ocean view right now. The always-well-done wine list is non-existent during the transition. The mixed drink prices have increased markedly (don't even think about asking for a particular liquor). Food is still very good. The service is as good as always. Great wait staff here. The wait staff said there will be a more varied menu with small and large plates at varying prices. Sorry to see the old place go. I'm thinking the new replacement will be more upscale and expensive if the drink and food price increases are any indication. Wait and see. Bye, Bye Spark. Thanks for lots of good times.

    The service was very good and the food was tasty. This is a nice option in downtown Huntington as the crowd is usually minimal and there is less noise. The view from the restaurant is very good.

    Don't order any of the eggs benedict - they don't know how to cook a poached egg - overcooked and solid to the core. The rest of the items on the plate were cold.

    Sorry to say that this place was a disappointment to me. When we arrived we were sat right away which was great however we were sat in the middle of the room when the place was pretty much empty. We did not request to move as we did not want to make a fuss. We ordered the seared Ahi Tuna for an app. and it was good, a little over priced but good. We ordered the Berri Tini very which were very good, the hot bread was great, however the problem came when ordering dinner at which time we also lost the attention of our waiter until it was time to tip and then he was more then helpful taking the payment. At one point another waiter came to help us. I can not express how disappointed we were in the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, this tasted like something out of a box. The lobster was chewy and the pasta had a cheese sauce that was so tasteless. The price on this baby was $20.95 ouch! Live and learn but this will not be a place I go to again. The pork chop we ordered was good not $28.95 good but way better the the mac and cheese.

    If you want to eat below average food with less than attentive service in a shopping mall setting, than this is the place for you. If those things don't appeal to you (and if you'd rather not eat dinner next to what appears to be their typical clientele... people with face tattoos) than eat somewhere else. Go to Sandy's across the street.
