Ordered the rib and chicken plate and the portions large. Very tasty.

Service was incredibly slow, music too loud in dining area. Not sure we’d go back. Used to be great as the old Rockwood cafe.

Food was yummy and server friendly, but there is a lack of “checking back” with tables in a timely fashion. Food arrives, but if there is any kind of issue, you are stuck waiting for someone to pop by. Though I totally understand how difficult it is with lack of staff, etc, restaurants need to implement strategies to improve these challenges. I would not have mentioned this, however, I have been to the restaurant several times and had the same problem. If they could resolve this, I would rate the restaurant a 5 out of 5. Also, special occasions should be recognized. It costs the restaurant little, but garners lots of goodwill with the clientele.

Meal was excellent - very good/decent portions.
Very expensive for a glass of house wine ($12 for a 9 ounce glass?) Price shouldn’t be more than $1 per ounce, especially for house wine.
Music was too loud for a restaurant, perfect for a lounge but too loud for a restaurant.

Nobody at the front for my reso. Poor start. Waited a few minutes. Had to find someone to seat me. Ended up with great service after that. I have been to this establishment multiple times. Best service I have had by far. Usually takes 5-10 minutes to get someone to take an order...this server asked right away! Made my Monday!

I had the crispy chicken burger. Over cooked - dark breading abs stringy chicken as a result. Loaded with regular mayo.
Was a great place to eat once opened. Will not return again.
I used to recommend this restaurant and now regret spending my money there instead of at another restaurant.

We had a great family dinner at Block & Blade. Service was excellent and we enjoyed our food. The restaurant was a bit noisy but it was hopping on a Saturday evening.

Block and Blade is local and always provides good food and service. We always want to support local businesses where possible and in their case, they are very convenient to home so I can just walk over on good weather days. Our server, Christopher was very patient and helpful. We, my step sister and I were there for a catch-up visit and we didn’t feel rushed at all.

The meals were unfortunately average.
The fettuccine Alfredo was bland.
The beet salad was tasty, but the size did not represent the price. It is the size of an appetizer and not a meal.
The fish tacos are nothing special.
The appetizer cheese bites are quite food!
The lettuce wraps were good as well.
We also ordered the burger week burger the week before and it was awful. The patty was dry, thick and awful. My husband and I both did not finish the burger. Very disappointed!!

Arrived for the first time during Le Burger week and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, portions, service and atmosphere. Had the spinach and artichoke dip to start, the Chimichurri Twist burger and one of the flatbreads for our entrees. All were fantastic and would easily order again but will certainly try more of the menu next time. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is one of only a few dine in restaurants near us so we go not infrequently. Sometimes the food and service is good and sometimes not. Last time both were good, this time not so much. We will go back because it's handy but I think they need to work on consistency.

The food was good and portion size was good as well but it was very pricy . Me and my husband had ordered taco , bruschetta as appetizers which we didn’t like . Also a vegetarian bowl and small brownie as dessert .Both of us had virgin drinks and our bill was $100. I have found everything over pricy .

Food was awful. Service was mediocre. Very loud dining room. I was actually sick from my disgusting “le Burger”. It was undercooked on a soggy bun. Not at all juicy, and nearly tasteless.
The potato cheddar soup had no liquid. It was the texture of oatmeal with potatoes and cheese added.
Was not worth the trip from Garden City to Sage Creek.

The food was good. We were there specifically for burger week. Although we had a reservation and we’re on time, the front staff kept taking orders at the front ignoring us. There were 3 staff at the front and did not seem to be well organized. It was very busy.
Our waiter Chris was attentive and service was good. The burgers themselves were good.

I eat at Block and Blade very often as it is in walking distance and I am unable to drive. Every time I eat there, there is something different about my meal, from the last time….
We went with family last night and our house salads didn’t even fill up HALF of the bowl it was given in. Usually it is full and I share with my husband. Two of us left the restaurant hungry. That never happens usually……

We like to support our local eatery, but its hard when they aren't well staffed. The hostess did not speak to us for 10 minutes until we went up to them but continued to get people take out orders. They definitely need to have help and perhaps make two line ups. The server was friendly but very new as she wasn't very familiar with the menu. The food was good and came out quickly once we were seated. The main issue was getting seated but after that it was good.
