BLOCK ONE Restaurant at 50th Parallel Winery
represents the first vineyard planted in 2009 and is very special to
Proprietors Sheri-Lee and Curtis. “It taught us to be farmers; to be
ONE with the land. There are things we will never experience again.
That vineyard block represents the past – the starting point, getting our
hands dirty, all the ‘firsts’ of our business”. BLOCK ONE also
represents the future as this vineyard block now produces some of the
estate’s finest fruit for our international award-winning wines. Guests
will be amazed by the seating area for the outdoor portion of the
restaurant. You are covered by an engineering wonder above in a oneof-
a-kind cantilever that is already drawing attention in the worlds
architectural community. The year-round restaurant moves to an
equally impressive indoor space during inclement days and in the
winter months.
Please note that our one, pet-friendly table is only available May 1st - Oct 1st (warmer months) due to weather.

I was very excited about the food after looking at the menu, we were not disappointed! The flavours were lovely we had brunch, enjoyed everything!
I love Block One and will be sending all of my friends and co workers to this resturant.
We had an outstanding lunch at Block One, just two of us for a birthday celebration. Our server was attentive and considerate. I had the ling cod with kale and it was cooked perfectly. The cod was crispy on the outside but moist in the middle. And the kale was wilted perfectly with bacon which took the flavor up a notch. We also had dessert which looked gorgeous and tasted amazing. I will definitely be back.
After lunch we tasted some wine and both bought a couple of bottles. The wine is excellent.
Another great oyster feast at BLOCK ONE. The Happy Hour $3 Kusshi oysters are what we came for! Now oysters are on the menu all day. We wrapped up Happy Hour with Glamour Farming bubbly, Pinot Noir, truffle fries and Pork & Duck potstickers. A great time as always.
Great food and superior employees! Have always received over and above quality of food and service.
We had a lovely brunch at Block One and the service was great and the food was amazing. The waitress made great wine and food selections to help us with our choices.... we will be back.

We have never been disappointed at any time with BLOCK ONE. Kai and his culinary team do an excellent job with the menu, preparation and presentation. The food is always fresh and innovative.
The service staff take great care to see you are well looked after and go the extra mile. They have plenty of space, so social distancing is not a problem. IF you are looking for a unique experience it is worth the drive.

We really enjoyed our lunch. The restaurant wasn't too busy, so we had some good quality time with the staff. The chicken sandwich was amazing as were the truffle fries. The restaurant was very tastefully decorated for the holiday season and it felt festive. All in all, a great time.

Excellent service. We seat close to the speaker so the music was a bit loud. Food was very good although ravioli needed a minute longer to be cooked; pasta was too hard. Beautiful setting and interior.

Met up with my husband’s cousin not seen in over 30 years, and his new fiancée, for lunch. Everything was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the Glamour Farming Salad with Jumbo Prawns, and tried some Truffle Frites which were incredible! The 2019 Pinot Gris was very nice as well.

Both the service from Alex and the food was all fantastic. They offered a 3 course meal with wine pairings which was excellent value. Best Beef Wellington I’ve ever had!! Cleanliness and safety protocols were all in place and it didn’t detract from the ambiance of the restaurant. Great experience. We will be back for sure!

The food was absolutely amazing, the view was gorgeous, the service was excellent, and the room set-up and COVID protocols made me feel very safe. We've been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks! It is a bit on the pricey side (although absolutely worth every penny!!) so I suggest going during Happy Hour from 3 - 5 pm as they have great prices then on both food and drink. Plus you can kick off your experience with a lovely wine tasting!! I think because of COVID reservations may be required so check online before you go. Enjoy!!

Always the best food and amazing friendly service. I love how they change their menu seasonally and are always coming up with delicious and creative new items. The crab cakes will be forever my favourite.

Our server was excellent. She had a great personality. The food was really good. I don't care for the wine much aside from the bubbly. We didn't get the requested low top table as requested but the atmosphere is great everywhere in there.

Outstanding mushrooms on toast, beef tartare and fried chicken sandwich. Superb ingredients prepared and combined masterfully, with excellent wine selection, in a lovely atmosphere in covid low season.

My husband and I walked to Block One and discovered upon arrival it was Sunday Brunch time, and we chose different items off that menu. Both meals were excellent, and very reasonably priced. The wine was very nice as well. We plan to return whenever possible.

Great place for dinner. Beautiful dining room and view.
Got an appy to share 1 starter highball each a bottle of wine to share our 2 meals and a couple cheeses for dessert and our bill was $200 so reasonable but the food (as was expected) is a bit "different/unique" so myself I struggled to pick one that I would know I would like but food was good.

I’m 9 months pregnant it was our last date night. They made it so special, food was fantastic. And hands down safest restaurant I have been In During covid. They took cleaning protocols and service to a whole new level!
