Proprietors Sheri-Lee and Curtis. “It taught us to be farmers; to be ONE with the land. There are things we will never experience again. That vineyard block represents the past – the starting point, getting our
hands dirty, all the ‘firsts’ of our business”. BLOCK ONE represents the future as this vineyard block now produces some of the estate’s finest fruit for our international award-winning wines. You will be amazed by the outdoor seating area of the restaurant. Seating is covered by an engineering wonder in a one-of-a-kind cantilever that is already drawing attention in the world's architectural community. The restaurant moves to an equally impressive indoor space during inclement days and in the winter months.

All groups of 6 and larger are subject to an auto-gratuity of 20%. At this moment we do not have a dog friendly table available.

Everything from the cocktails to the food were excellent! The Riesling wine was so good, we had to buy a couple of bottles. A perfect place for special occasions. The chef brings many interesting flavors to the various dishes. Highly recommended!

Our waitress remembered us from a previous time and also provided us a couple free glasses of wine for our anniversary! The food is always fantastic and the view and vibe at 50th is always incredible.

Ya it was ok. I had bigger expectations I guess. Loud drunk guys kinda ruined it. It was an anniversary dinner. I would face thought the manager would have been more assertive and dealt with it.

Great service and excellent food. Had the crab cakes and halibut. Both were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive, friendly and efficient. Portions were quite small which may be a problem for big appetites.

Our server Heather was amazing. Her recommendations for the food were spot on. The crab cakes delicious, the lobster tail ravioli was an incredible layering of flavours. The focaccia bread was perfect and the tomato dip was amazing.

I prefer to have my larger meals earlier than most folks . So this is not a condemnation. I would have loved to have prime rib or steak instead of a hamburger after driving all the way out to the boonies to dine there. BUT , the server , Marc and the wine tasting lady ,Nica , made the trip a pleasant one so , what the Hay ,Eh ! It was good anyways and I am happy they are there. Sun was shining and it was beautiful that day and my Lady was happy ! Seven Stars to God and 5 to Block One ! Cheers !

Every bite was full of flavour. Rarely (if ever) will I order a simple chicken breast dish from a resto. Glad I did as was moist, seasoned well, simple accompaniments finished it off. Vegan dish also surprisingly good. Was a chilly night but they made sure all were comfortable.

We had the Steak Tartare which is the best in the world. Also the Chardonnay they produce is on par with the best from the Napa valley. My wife had heavenly Halibut and I had the Forager pizza which was one of the best I have tasted in my 66 years. Block One is the best restaurant in the Lake Country/Vernon region.

This is my second time at BLOCK ONE and it continues to deliver every time. The food, the wine, the staff are all amazing. A wide variety of delicious food with very knowledgeable staff. Our server made fabulous wine recommendations and each glass paired perfectly with the dishes we ordered. When I am in the area, I will make a point to eat here. Just fabulous.

Food is phenomenal!!! Flavors are beautifully combined and will have you coming back. If you're looking for Big Red wines however, I'd stick to their cocktails as this winery is lacking in bold reds.

Block One is always a favourite with our family, and brunch there did not disappoint! The staff were friendly and engaging, as well as knowledgeable of the menu (important as we are a family with food allergies/ restrictions). The drinks and meal were delicious, the setting was fabulous..... Would highly recommend and are looking forward to our next visit alread.
