Very much enjoyed the bottomless brunch. Prosecco was flowing. We all had the steak, egg and chips which were all cooked perfectly. Ordered dessert separately which was also lovely. It would have been nice if the dessert was included in the price. Service charge was included but we were happy with the service. A very positive experience.

We had vouchers for three courses + cocktail for £20 per head. The restaurant is in a good location and the decor inviting enough for the style of food on offer. At 7pm it was virtually empty. No buzz or element of expectation. Our voucher choices were limited to three per course. We took the ceviche of sea bass it was tasty. For mains a barbecue rack of pork and hamburger. These were very poor. The mango cheesecake and vanilla ice cream choices were ok as was the cocktail. The meal was just poorly presented and a Big Mac would have been more thrilling. I would have been disappointed to have paid the full price for any of it. Such a shame. Maybe it will do better in the winter.

First time at Block Soho. The food was delicious despite the fact the stake was very chewy and our friend didn't want to finish. The other thing that left us puzzled was the size of the spare ribs. On the menu it was saying half rack but what we were served looked more like a quarter of a rack (we ordered two spare ribs and chicken wings combo). The overall atmosphere, food flavours and service were so good that we didn't want to spoil that by questioning the size of the spare rips or the chewiness of the stake. The best part of our evening was the OUTSTANDING service we received from Jodie from the very first minute we sat down to the moment we left the restaurant. not only us as we saw her giving a fantastic service with a smile at all times to all the tables she served every time. Jodie is definitely a valuable asset to the company. an employee you can not find easily nowadays. we will certainly go back again just to enjoy the smiley and happy service we had with our delicious meal.

Service was very disjointed and left us waiting 40mins before our drinks came and a further 15mins before our food, and only once we had raised it to their (servers) attention. A manager did apologise to us and offer free desserts, however we did not want them nor had time after the long wait for service. It was also cold in the restaurant which made the experience fairly unenjoyable. Such a shame as the original waitress was very enthusiastic and made us feel welcome and the food was good quality and nicely cooked. Overall we will not be returning following our experience.

Myself and my husband came in 23rd of July. We have pre-booked table in advance. Attentive lovely staff. We were using buy a gift voucher.So for us was set menu. Our opinion is nothing special, standard pub menu. We didn’t enjoyed cocktails (but it just us maybe someone else would love it). Dishes were ok , we enjoyed main course ( burger and steak)., both deserts not really. We would prefer not a set menu. Suggestion: just deduct money from the main bill and let customers to choose what they wantBe aware of service charge I think it was 12.5%.

Few issues inc serving the allergen we'd discussed and kitchen undercooking food! Front of house staff far better Jodie was fab and adressed everything. Meals were good and prices midrange for London. Will go again.

We arrived and were seated immediately. The staff took our drink and food orders swiftly. The wait for the food wasn't long and we were all able to have a relaxing and delicious meal together. Would definitely visit again!

My husband I have been before and really enjoyed a lovely meal which was great value for money. We then invited some friends and family to join us for a birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and were eventually able to honour a 25% discount related to a flyer we picked on our way to the restaurant even though it apparently only applied to prebooked tables of 4 or less. This was not clear on the flyer and we had pre booked a table for 8. However even with the discount I felt that the prices were very high. Whilst appreciating the increased costs of food, overheads etc, £17 for 3 tiny scallops and £4 for a peppercorn sauce for example did seem disproportionately overpriced. Unfortunately, having extolled the virtues of the restaurant to our friends/family we left feeling somewhat disappointed. I think it maybe a while before we consider visiting again.

Prosecco delivered instead of Champagne but solved swiftly, service was efficient by fab waitress. It was Sunday that’s way lack of ambience I guess otherwise good experience. Thank you.

There were a few very loud parties in the restaurant on the evening we went to the restaurant which didn't help with the experience. We had to wait an hour to get our mains because there was a large groups of about 15 people whose order hogged the grill manned for some reason by only one person. The food was ok but the rib-eye was a bit chewy for my liking

We were recommended to this restaurant. I had to ask for a waiter/waitress to take an order for drinks as after 15 mins of being walked past we were all getting thirsty. Ordered steaks which were tasty and cooked perfectly but they don’t come with anything and all sides are extra.

The team at the restaurant were amazing. Polite, energised and so engaging. This review is no means reflective of them. The venue was also great, apart from the food pass, which looked like a fish and chip shop. Sadly the food was far from what was expected. We ordered a range of steaks, which when delivered, had us all on Google checking we had asked for the right thing. The starters were great - and to be honest I would probably come again for those alone. But the sides - Heritage tomatoes = normal tomatoes with herbs and drizzle of oil - not nice Corn on the Cob = £6 for a small corn with no visible trace of Thyme Sautéed Mushrooms - lacked flavour for £8! Normally for the great service I would have given 5* but I feel this restaurant really needs to work with the kitchen.

With my party of 15 people, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks at Block Soho, where the service was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and fantastic explaining all the details and the price was economical. We were all happy and would definitely attend again.

We had 2 vouchers for a set meal - the food was great though glad we had the vouchers, as it would have been slightly overpriced otherwise. Service was good, we had 1 waitress who was fantastic! We did order a bottle of red wine and initially received a rose - by the time the red arrived, our food was getting cold. The steak was great, though could have been slightly less cooked for me (i ordered medium rare, and it was more medium). Overall, 7/10

Amazing birthday dinner. I made this booking only the day before for 10 people, I was so surprised to get the booking and added to the booking it was my sisters birthday. We arrived a few minutes early and the table was ready for us. The choice of menu was great, everyone found something they liked. The service was amazing, each person were asked about allergies when they ordered their food, which was nice to be asked instead of needing to specify. We had, steak, Seabass, burger, mac and cheese and cod, pinot grigio and rioja blanco 🤤👌🏼 everyone's food was on point! To top it off, they did see on my reservation that it was my sisters birthday and brought out a dessert 🍰 for her and we all sang happy birthday.. I'd 100% return and recommend to everyone
