Perfect for our group of professional colleagues after giving a panel at an international conference. The broad menu offered something for every taste.

Fantastic food. Very creative Chinese fusion. Executed perfectly. Every dish we ordered was wonderful. Atmosphere is a bit odd. On a Saturday nights lights were bright and US college football playing on about a dozen big screens. Could add some more ambience. Other than that can’t recommend highly enough.

Visited on Thursday late afternoon when I ordered three happy hour snacks and two main courses.
Snack- deep fried prawn dumplings, lotus kimchi and lobster fries
Main course- sea urchine linguine and frie gore stir fried rice.

Dumpling is the only thing acceptable.
Lotus root with kimchi was cooked with breading and also deep fried.
The lobster meat was sliced and coated with heavy breading. I could not taste anything but seasoning and breadcrumbs.

Sea urchin was not fresh and that's not linguine but noodle! The cream sauce was way too thick and the noodle was stuck together when it was served.
The frie goe is fine. But the rice was way to salty. It truly tasted every bite has a pinch of salt.

We asked one of the servers who said he will ask the chef regarding the quantity of salt and seasoning but we left no answered.
So we asked another server who sent the dish back and replied us that the chef admitted for adding extra oyster sauce into the rice. The kitchen therefore prepared a replacement.
Albeit, it was still quite salty and we did not have much as we totally lot the appetite.

The overall experience was not good and the food is below par. Given that circumstances, I could only give a 2-star for the food is cooked and good decor of the restaurant.

Food was ok. Best dish we had was the deep fried chicken wings. Service was attentive but considering how unbusy it was, they should be more attentive with changing/clearing plates and refilling the teapot. Team is a bit fresh and needs more training. Floors were some sticky...especially leading to the washroom. Our booth had some crumbs.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is not in a hurry. The food was great and it come out in a timely manner. However the service left lots to be desired. Initially they were there to take the drink and then food order. But once we had food they did not check on us. It was not busy at the time, but we did not see our server or anyothers around.

I would not recommend this beautiful new restaurant at this time. It still has a lot of issues to resolve. The food is excessively spicy, even for our Chinese friends who were with us. So if you go, I'd advise that you request less hot spicy flavor level, unless you want to cauterize your mouth.

Beautiful interior design and serene environment like an oasis n the middle of downtown Vancouver. I was attracted to go because I have heard that the GM of Mott 32 opens this restaurant. It is very new, and the staff are friendly but not well-trained. Felt sorry for the waitress that her Chinese style uniform could not button up well enough to cover her bra straps, and embarrassed to look as she used a safety pin to hold up the seam. Hope that her management can fix this for her soon. We ordered tea which took a while to be served, and as high end restaurants, servers would usually explain the tea leaves and pour the first cup of tea for customers, but it was done by ourselves. When dessert arrived, no server came to take away our used plates, and we have waited for about 10 minutes before we found a waitress to ask her for new plates. When she brought the new plates, she did not bring the forks, so how would they expect us to use the used chopsticks to eat dessert. Obviously lack of training from management again. We have seen a manager-like figure walking around in the restaurant, but never came by another table to check on if things went smooth. So, what is meant by management by walking around when nothing was corrected? We ordered a total of 6 dim sum and 2 desserts, which were all mediocre, however the price was on the higher end. The food was presented on high end dinnerware, but the taste of food was not matching to the high standard. In particular, the Mango Lemon Pudding was a mere hallowed lemon filled with mango pudding, on a small plate with no garnish. The size of the lemon was small, and charged $8 which was the worst dish of the day. Other items were just okay, but the other Chinese restaurants in downtown Vancouver have better dim sum at much lower price. The rest of the menu items are a bit strange, such as sea urchin linguine and many sushi & rolls items without any traditional Chinese fried rice or noodles.

Blossom's dimsum dishes are expensive so plan on spending more money, but they are also different from your standard dimsum place, and quite delicious. Was a good change up from Victoria or Kirin.

A few items were under seasoned. For Oshi sushi, the rice was still warm. Perhaps they ran out of stock & had to prepare additional ones.

Overall food is great and service is attentive. Great explanation of the menu and suggestion. We ordered a few dimsum and sushi. I particularly like unagi rice . Also like sushi, the Golden Bison Beef Puff is really good. On the other hand, the BBQ pork bun is so-so. Overall it's good and we will go back.

We mostly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding. Service wasn't the best, but our server had a lot of tables and the restaurant had only been open a week. The staff did seem knowledgeable about their menu.

Excellent location with dedicated interior design. But the plastic dinnerware is huge minus. Food is plain. Especially the roasted fish totally forget to put salt on it. Waitress asked us the comments but without any feedback. Disappointed absolutely for the choice.

Great patio overlooking Robson. Food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared and plated.Service was friendly and efficient. Inside is plush and inviting. A great variety of dishes- Not all Asian flavours-something for everyone but would note that it is not typical dim sum menu/prices from a Chinese restaurant. Dumplings were amazing and the salmon oishi too.

You might wonder if a kitchen with three different chefs, one who specializes in dim sum, one in sushi, and one in grilling meats and fish could possibly work. Stop wondering. The resulting "fusion" (an overused term these days that actually does apply here) is nothing short of wonderful.

Very overpriced for the quality. Dumpling skin was mediocre as was filling quality. Uni did not taste fresh - that noodle dish was absolutely tiny. I finished it in 3 bites. Service was also rather poor, wait staff looked stressed and frazzled but I understand that could just be growing pains. I can forgive bad service but food portion and quality needs to improve for grand opening.

I was so excited to hear of this new dim sum restaurant opening on Robson and the restaurant is quite spacious with beautiful art pieces around. The food was delicious and well plated. Everything came out warm and tasted fresh. One disappointing aspect was the service. We were greeted by a lovely host who seated us in a spacious booth, filled our water, and she constantly came back to check up and refill our waters. We sat for a good 10-15min and no server came by but we were greeted by the manager who took our order. A few moments later our “server” came to introduce herself and left. Throughout our entire dinner we had 3-4 servers attend to our table (serve the food, clear the plates) but not once did our server come by to ask how the food was or if we needed anything. I watched as she waited all her other tables but she seemed to forget our table existed. Even when we received the bill from the manager I had to waive her down, she starred at me holding the bill and I had to ask her to bring the machine. I understand this is the first week of opening so I want to come back and hope that the service will improve!
