   Kitchen was a bit backed up, but execution was perfect, staff very attentive. All the details were thought through, from a bouquet garni to perfume the the bread (served on a hot stone) a hot stone to a broad but not overwhelming selection of wine and liquor.

   We had afternoon tea and the service was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delightful and presented beautifully. The seating was very comfortable. It was a very enjoyable experience. We look forward to dining here again.

    People were really nice and welcoming. Extremely quick service and very nice ambience. Ordered two mock tails which were very refreshing and elegant. The crispy octopus was unique and very tasty. We ordered a filet mignon which was perfect, cooked and tasted awesome. Also ordered the salmon, unfortunately the salmon and what accompanied it was a little watery/bland. It could of used more substance or a thicker sauce. I personally would not recommend the salmon as it was a little underwhelming. We finished off with the chocolate cake and the carrot cake. There is nothing to say about them, but just that they are wonderful. Overall good food and service just dissatisfied with the salmon.

    Blue Aster was the perfect spot for a birthday brunch. The staff was amazing and friendly. They made sure everything was perfect and it was! We will definitely be back for the afternoon tea. Would recommend 10/10.

    Over priced and not welcoming. Can’t believe they charged for mimosas, that were included in brunch, after some ppl didn’t want OJ. Also charged for Bday slice of cake after $65 pre fix for 10 ppl. Only other person who had dessert was eight year old. Nothing was complementary. Later realized they also charged child adult price even though they said it was $45. Sounding petty but I’ve had much better at what would be considered same caliber of restaurant. This place didn’t show up! Blue Astor means trustworthy… Don’t trust your money or time here

    Went for an experience that was listed on open table. $65 per person for easter brunch. So, for my 12-year-old, he had bacon, eggs, sausage, water and a croissant for $65. My 14-year-old had blue berry pancakes, water, and a small donut for $65. My wife and I both had shrimp and grits (3 prawns). a mimosa, and a small donut for $65 each. This was a prix fixxe (that wasn't was advertised). Coffee was extra. Food was fine but charging $65 for a $20 meal....

    We have been to Blue Aster for lunch and diner previously, and never been disappointed. This time we went there for the Easter Brunch. For $65/person, we were supposed to get a basket of pastries (chocolate croissant, croissant, and blueberry muffin), a mimosa, and an a la carte entree. This was written on the website and on the menu that we got at the restaurant. First I was surprised that coffee was not even included; but it was not indicated on the menu, so I am find. However, we got a basket of only 5 pastries (1 croissant, 1 muffin and 3 donuts) for a table of 4 people. Our waiter told us that it was only 1 basket per table, meaning that if you are alone or if you are 10 people, you will get the same amount of patries, roughly. I complained to the waiter because a different story was indicated on the menu, but nobody came to explain or to apologize. $65 is too expensive for a quarter croissant, which was good though! Notwithstanding, the Porchetta BLT was a little bit dry, but the eggs benedict with collard green and bacon was outstanding.

    The good: seafood tower, little gem caesar salad, scallops, cauliflower steak, broccolini, "the best" filet. Tuna tartar was ok...a little too spicy for my tastebuds. Great service and atmosphere.

    Afternoon tea with friends - overall it was a lovely service. The food was very good. They forgot to bring steamed milk with one of the teas and then one plate was missing one of the sandwiches. One small glass of champagne - two would have been nice for the price/taxes.

    One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Period. The sauces for the seafood tower were incredible. The “ribeye for the table” was prepared perfectly and was just outstanding. When I come to Nashville, I’m going to Blue Aster again.

    Really enjoyed my experience here. Every course was delicious, the seafood was fresh, and the lobster pasta was outstanding. Good cocktail list, good service, nice atmosphere as well. Would definitely come back.

    We went here for brunch on a Saturday, and everything was phenomenal. The blueberry pancakes were outstanding, I highly recommend. Upscale location, and quiet.

    Looks are everything here. Beautiful setting, but service was just fair and our food was a very mixed bag. The restaurant was pretty empty but it was still fairly slow. It has potential but is solidly in that post-pandemic camp of being overpriced for the quality of food and service. We wouldn't have tolerated this pre-pandemic, but it's kind of become the norm now. Maybe not bad for a meal in the hotel if you're staying, but for locals or tourists coming from another hotel, you can do better.

    My husband and I went for our anniversary, and we had the BEST dinner! Ashley made our experience so special by acknowledging our anniversary with a sweet note and flowers on our table when we arrived, and even gave us complimentary champagne! The food and cocktails were phenomenal. The bar and kitchen staff clearly put a lot of thought into the creation of the menu and the dining experience. The sweet potato fritters and the duck were amazing. My husband really enjoyed his truffle potato soup and the calamari pasta. And the carrot cake had so much flavor. Very highly recommend Blue Aster for any special occasion!
