    Good service good food and a great ambviance. Location is very good as well. Never had a problem with booking with either the internet or phone.

    Dinner was good, people in our group had fish and chips, salmon and strip steak. Everyone was pleased with their meal and the Moscow Mules were quite good too. Dessert was Sweet Peaks ice cream which is always a treat!

    Blue Canyon has a great menu featuring standards and specialty items, all deliciously prepared and nicely presented. We didn't have wine this time, but Blue Canyon has a very good wine list. I did had a specialty cocktail myself, which was terrific. My companion had a margarita, which she enjoyed. The server was very pleasant, but it seemed that she was unable able to find our reservation, booked through you. She also forgot to bring an appetizer we ordered. Other than that, her service was excellent, and, as I say, she was extremely pleasant. We had a very good time, found the food scrumptious and the atmosphere perfect for a quiet birthday dinner.

    We often meet friends here, since there is something on the menu for everyone. We like the wine list and the cocktails are also very good. Unfortunately, some of the menu options were not available even though it was a friday night. What we did order was very good with the exception of the pizza which was undercooked, even when it was sent back, it came back unsatisfactorily. The ambiance is nice, however the open candle on the table set the wax paper in the bread basket on fire. One of our party was quick to douse it with water and roll it up to extinguish the flame. The staff mentioned that this had happened before. So why don't they fix it when it is a fire hazard ?

    Restaurant management was visibly absent during our visit. Hostess didn't have my OpenTable reservation - as we walked in, a guest already seated asked the hostess if a bartender was available (should have been a sign for us to just leave!). My son's pasta was ok, my margherita pizza was not good (dough was too thick!) Lastly, server presented us with 2 bills (we would have double-paid). She apologized and explained how it happened but I didn't understand what she was talking about! We were staying at the Hilton next door and I thought it would be easier to eat there since we got into town late. It was a mistake.

    Everything was great, except the very small amount of food for the price! We split a scallop dinner (it cost $33). We usually split wherever we go, as we're not big eaters, and also we each have a salad and/or soup before dinner. We ALWAYS are satisfied with this amount of food in other restaurants in the Kalispell area. We did each have a salad before our dinner at your restaurant. We were surprised that one salad was not included with the dinner, for that price. The small amount of food we each received (2 scallops each) was not reflective of the price we paid. We thought $33 for 4 scallops, a very small amount of side items, and no salad was very overpriced. The dinner did not even come with rolls, although we were served some when we asked. We were both hungry when we left. The presentation was lovely, service very good, etc. Even though we said above we would recommend to others, we would tell them we felt Blue Canyon was high priced for the amount of food. This was our first time there, so we'll give it one more try to see how it goes, because the restaurant is physically very nice and the service good.

    I enjoyed coming back to Blue Canyon for dinner. Have had a few dinners here, ordered a fish dinner last time, everything was wonderful, such amazing flavor and generous portions. This time we had lots of tasty leftovers to take home! I love the lodge area and the fireplaces, it is a lovely place to sit and relax and have a martini- the pineapple one i tried was perfect. For the money spent, it was spot - on and exactly what i wanted to experience, having invited someone who hasn't been here before. It is nice to have a place like this in our smaller sized town, as it has a Montana feel to it, but yet very nice selection of foods and appetizers, beverages and oh i almost forgot, DESSERT. the Chocolate dessert with the jam was outstanding. What a talented group of people / cooks. Thank you, I enjoyed it and will look forward to trying something else here again soon.

    We were sat a little lose to the open kitchen area, we could easily hear the cook's and server's personal conversations about life issues family problems etc. it's interesting to see the cooks/ chefs area and see them cook but the preparations, supplies & utility area being seen and that much open is a bit much. It's also a bit bright in that area due to the kitchen lighting. We thought about asking for a table change further away but it seemed trivial as it was after 9 pm and things were winding down .
