I started out totally disgusted with Open Table. I dispose your updated rewards system. Plus when I went to get my gift card u have Blue Hill Tavern now at $10 reward so I canceled my use of points and when got to Restaurant asked owner why they now do $10 instead of $20. He told me OT does that not him so I’m now doubly annoyed with OT
My husband and I have enjoyed the fantastic food at Blue Hill for a few years now. We introduced the restaurant to our friends on Friday night and they loved it too! The surf & turf is so incredibly delicious! The staff and ambiance are just lovely. Blue Hill will always be one of our favorite restaurants!
Frequent here a lot. Cuban was very tasty. Service was top notch as well
It was a wonderful dining experience. Everyone at our table enjoyed their drinks and meal. One friend had the crab cake, another the red snapper and the other had the filet. All stated that they were impressed with their meal and all ate every bite! I had the Mushroom Wellington and it was excellent! The service was professional and visited the table timely. I would recommend a visit. There is also a nice looking bar for those interested.
Went for Mother’s Day dinner. Had the salmon with veggies and Demi glaze. Was phenomenal. Go to Blue Hill often and have never had a bad meal or experience.
Great service by the entire staff. They made sure to take care great care of us.
Mother’s day - I had a question about the menu, the waiter responded “I have no idea. This is the first time i have seen this menu.” Food was good - choices were limited on Mother’s day menu. Quantity small given the preset price
We went to Blue Hill Tavern for Mother's Day brunch.
The restaurant was inviting and attractively decorated. We were seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and accommodating. Our food was pretty good.
The air was up too high, which made it cold in our area. My silverware was dirty. After we ordered, we didn't get our food until 30 minutes later. My husband ordered shrimp and grits, which was good. However, portions were small for the price.
This was overall a good experience for Mother's Day brunch. We often go to Blue Hill since we live in the neighborhood. They had a filet on the prix fixe menu, and unfortunately my mother ordered that. When she first received it, it was extremely raw--purple blood poured out of it onto the plate when she cut it. The waiter whisked it away to get a medium-rare one, as she had ordered. The one he brought back was medium well--only a little pink in places. The second filet also was clearly the end of the tenderloin--misshapen and not as tender as it should be. It was very disappointing. He offered a free dessert to make up for it. The service was wonderful, but the kitchen should remove the filet if they don't plan to make a cursory effort to cook to temp. My steak experiences at Blue Hill have been great so far--but now I know not to order them here any longer.
We chose Blue Hill Tavern for our Mother's Day brunch and couldn't have been happier. The prix fixe menu offered a wide variety of options. We were seated early, the service was great, the food was delicious and the ambiance was welcoming. 2 people ordered the gnocchi and felt that the portion sizes were a bit on the small side, while all other meals seemed to have portion sizes that were spot on. Aside from the portion discrepancy, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The desserts were delicious and the portions were generous. I'd highly recommend Blue Hill Tavern!
The food was fabulous. I had the pork tenderloin with Brussel sprouts and my boyfriend had the Shrimp and Grits. Both meals were delicious. Our waiter was fantastic as well.
Great service and atmosphere. 8 out of our ten guest liked their food.
I have been here many times and am usually a little underwhelmed with the food. I like a good burger but have twice been disappointed by the Wagyu. MY wife likes it so we continue to go. I find the menu uninspiring but overall it is a nice place.
Dined with Blue Hill in the outside seating in the upper balcony. Beautiful sunset city view and our meal was delicious as always. Crab cake, pizza, brussels sprouts are to amazing. They even offered us free champagne for our first wedding anniversary.
We came for our one year anniversary. Very nice and quiet. Not too busy. The beef tartar is amazing if you're looking for an appetizer rec!
Excellent place for after theater dinner, or just a night out!
From greeting to departure, everything in between, first class. An excellent meal served properly, taste, quality, quantity. Enjoyed dining here immensely.
This was our first dining experience and we really enjoyed everything. The food and drinks were exceptional and our server, John, was attentive and we never felt rushed. I would return again.
Sat outside on the upper deck. Nice night, food was very good, service was impeccable. Have eaten inside many times. It’s always a great experience!
Loved the contemporary décor. Looked like a good date atmosphere. Waitress, Judy, was surprisingly good for her young age. Seemed fairly experienced.
Great food. I had been here before and was disappointed to see that they had consolidated their brunch menu down considerably. But the quality of food was excellent.
Food was excellent.
Service very attentive
Would definitely return
Awesome from start to finish. Food was great but the service from Leonard was Absolutely wonderful! He deserves extra recognition for how great he was!
Service was excellent on a recent lunch/brunch birthday celebration. While enjoying a very good crab dip appetizer with the table, I merely mentioned to my fellow diners that I would love more crostini and within a blink of an eye, a plate of it appeared. Lenin, ( I think that was his name) was attentive throughout the meal but never once obtrusive.
All or our meal choices were delicious, the Cuban looked amazing but the friend that ordered it had no intention of sharing. The Bloody Mary's and the Sangria were delicious but suffered from suburban garnishes. (A mere lemon wedge for the bloody, and just chopped oranges in the sangria)
Overall, a great gem and a real standout in Canton.
Thankfully, Lenin tracked us down with a call within minutes of our departure when my husband left his credit card behind.
Excellent as always. Tried the burger tonight. So good!!
Great food, service a d decor
We made a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Very good service and food on a busy Friday evening. They accommodated our 3 year old very well.
Can always count on Blue Hill gor any dining experience
I love Blue Hill Tavern, although this was maybe not the best sample of our experiences there. The sky-blue-and-chocolate decor manages to be both vibrant and soothing, original and classic; the service was attentive as always. My husband enjoyed his calamari salad and salmon fillet. I was perhaps a bit less satisfied with the bleu cheese wedge salad (good, but a little too much vinegar) and a duck confit pizza (a bit on the sweet side, and not a lot of meat). The bread pudding baked with apples was delicious, though. Still a wonderful place!
I have been to Blue Hill on several occasions and recommend it regularly. I have done a Christmas Girlfriend Party there, I have done Girls Night Out There, Date Nights and Valentine's Day 2017. My last visit was with four women that have never been and all said they would return. One was quite pleased to find out it was only 9 minutes away from her home. Our waiter was "Excellent", very attentive and friendly. My only negative comment is your Maitre D, is not very friendly, and to my personal knowledge he has been there a long time and maybe someone needs to let him know his demeanor "Sucks". But I still love "Blue Hill" .
I've been coming to Blue Hill every few months for years. Would probably come more often if I still lived local. The food and service is always good. I just wish they had a seared tuna entree on the menu. They had a pretty fantastic seared tuna special the first time I dined there. I think in 4 or 5 years I've only been there one other time that it was offered. If it was added to the menu I'd probably come twice as often!
Great restaurant, very pleasantly surprised. Nice greeting, excellent service, nice drinks and outstanding food. Although we did not drink or dinner in the bar, we could have and it's very nice with a contemporary feel. Overall, a great experience!
We booked this restaurant for Easter because there was no set menu and we liked the idea of being able to order off the menu. In addition, the website offered unlimited Mimosas for a set price. When we arrived we were informed that there was a set menu and that unlimited Mimosas were not available. The restaurant should have contacted us to inform us of the changes. Will not go back again.
Easter lunch/brunch while on Spring break vacation. Food was excellent and everyone was very nice.
Took my family of 10 there for Easter brunch. Setting was very nice , menu selection amazing, and food was outstanding!
Blue Hill Tavern was a real find! We had not heard of it until we saw the positive reviews on Groupon, which led us to choose it. The food was amazing (my husband said the pork tenderloin dish was one of the best meals he had ever had!), and our server, Dan, was both knowledgeable and responsive—we will definitely be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Blue Hill Tavern.
We really enjoyed our evening at Blue Hill Tavern. I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was excellent. We enjoyed good food and good beer. We will definitely return.
Excellent Service and food, highly recommend
