Blue has been AMAZING every single time my husband and I have gone! I only put a 4 for noise level because if you move ever so slightly move your chair, it sounds like nails on a chalkboard.. yikes. BUT other than that, 5's across the board! We love you BLUE!

It was a glorious day at the beginning of May right when temperatures start moving into the 80’s, so we booked for an outdoor table but got seated in an indoor area they call outdoor (strangely). This area has poor acoustics so it felt like everyone was competing in their conversations so the ambiance sadly suffered. The chairs, when moved, have a blood-curtailing squeak to them (think fingernails across a chalkboard) effectively leaving the chair mover to be embarrassed at their effect on all surrounding tables being horrified to a conversation-stopping level by the piercing noise. We suggested to the manager that she should consider doing something about it given that the feeling was mutually palpable for each occurrence & got a surprisingly sassy reproach from the manager who obviously has no business in being employed in that job. We like to eat & drink so ordered a bottle of pellegrino & a bottle of sake, edamame, & a tuna tower to start. At this stage there wasn’t enough room on the table (it was a tiny 2-top) so we moved to a 4-top that was accommodated no problem by the staff except for all the chair squeaking that we had to do to get there. Ugggh! We ordered more as we had more table real estate, the food was quite good, the sashimi fresh, tasty, & well presented, it was just sad that the poor waitress was run off her feet with either too many tables or possibly inexperienced (I think it was the former as she seemed competent when at our table when we could find her) as we waited quite a bit to request to order and just ended up asking others instead. We will go again as we have had better experiences previously but as per prior visits, will request indoor seats, & only go in the daytime. I suggest you give it a miss when they are most busy & don’t sit “outdoors”. For us, it’s a no-go to waste our precious date night on such an expensive meal with so much lacking, it’s just not worth it!

The atmosphere was very "club like" - Instagram worthy decor and techno music playing the whole time. The crowd there is very diverse so it made for very interesting people watching! We loved the food, our server was great - very attentive. We love that they sustainably source everything. We had the marinated cucumbers, calamari, brussel srouts, and several rolls, non alcoholic drinks were great too- not overly fruity like some places. 10/10 will be back!

The light got dimmer as we were trying to read the menu. The noise level made it hard to have a quaint and peaceful dinner. The food was great but was expecting more. Our waitress was very kind and explained the menu. Will definitely go back when we are in the mood for an outgoing loud environment with good drinks.

We’re regulars at this restaurant and we went for dinner to celebrate my son’s birthday. The service was terrible; it took forever for the food. The waitress didn’t come back to the table unless we called her over and although I said it was a birthday celebration on the app and told her, she comped the shishito peppers instead of offering a dessert. My son didn’t eat shishito and she just didn’t care. It was a real disappointment and the restaurant was not as busy as it usually is. The sushi rolls were sloppy but the ingredients were fresh and good.

Birthday dinner! I revealed the occasion on the reservation, would have loved a candle in our dessert. Price was very reasonable for all the food we ate. Charred edamame was great.

I would not consider this good sushi, quality very poor. We sat at the sushi bar. Our server asked us not to speak to the sushi chefs due to the language barrier. I did not understand as I typically enjoy the sushi bar, have always had a memorable experience. This was a doozy as I have never met a sushi chef south of the border. If you want a true Japanese experience go elsewhere.

This is one of my fave restaurants in Austin, especially as a vegan! The menu has many options for EVERYONE! Highly recommend the Vegan Black Dragon, to veg or non veg, and the drinks are great!

Loved this place. Excellent variations on sushi and they were delicious. The ambiance is calm and dark, two favorites of mine for a zen experience. Service we nice and prompt. Price is about what you should expect in a Domain based restaurant. This will be a regular stop from now on.
