   Food took a very long time to get to our table, probably 45 minutes for the mains to come. The server was very polite about it at least. The lobster felt like a waste of money, $41 for a thumb sized amount of meat and you had to pay additional for sides and sauce. Would probably come back earlier in the day and order something else.

   We wanted to take our family visiting us out to one of Banff’s best restaurants, so we chose Bluebird. It did not disappoint. Delicious food, great service, comfortable seating and chill modern atmosphere.

   Excellent grass fed Petit fillet steak (next I've had yet!) and classic 10oz prime rib. Horse radish was the perfect complement. Cheesy mashed potatoes and maitake mushroom sides were okay. Took advantage of happy hour and ran through all the options to satisfaction. We lucked out being the only couple in the dining area at 4pm. Got busy by the time we left by 5:30pm.    Yes very lovely vibe at Bluebird and staff were outstanding. Really enjoyed our food, would recommend if you are staying in Banff, really nice outside patio too.

    3rd time coming here since it opened. 1st 2 were great. This time was not. Service was slow. Missed items on some of our tables orders. Don’t go for the fondue.

    We approached the Bluebird restaurant on the recommendation of a food service individual at another restaurant! for a group dinner while we attended a professional meeting in town. On short notice (24 hours) the restaurant accommodated our group of 22 people. Serving staff (Alex plus a colleague whose name I did not get) were helpful in suggesting appetizers as the group arrived, and managed to take orders and deliver main courses to the tables smoothly and efficiently. The food was well received by our team members, including some children and spouses. The evening was relaxed and pleasant, the atmosphere also pleasant- a nicely structured building and seating that allowed us to be together but not disturb other patrons.

    We had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday at Bluebird. We shared multiple dishes and enjoyed them all. Erika, our server, was patient and attentive. She suggested delicious dishes, taking into account various food allergies in the group. Highly recommend the dining experience at Bluebird!

    An absolute MUST-go when you're in Banff! The space is beautiful inside, outside they have a beautiful patio with some fire tables, and some without. They had just launched a new menu and my friend and I had the fire-roasted beets, tableside tartar, and the fondue. Everything was exceptional, but my gosh- forget about table-side guac folks (sooooo last year, ha! :P ) and indulge in the tableside tartar- the true tableside experience for this beef-focused province. How has no one thought of this before?! Simply amazing. The staff are all wonderfully kind, fun, and knowledgeable and truly add great value to your experience. Can't wait to go back and crush some more items off the menu :)

    Excellent food, drinks and service. We loved the decor and ambience too. The key lime pie was an outstanding dessert, and the coffee was also worth coming back for. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Bluebird to anyone with good taste.

    The place is nice. We had the prime rib dinner and was disappointed. It was very sinuey and lacked flavor. The veg was cabbage and undercooked. The prices are expensive and everything is alacart. When you order a steak, that is all you get. Mashed potatoes are $13, vegetables another $9-13. We would not return.

    Came in for dinner with my girlfriend and we both had the steaks and they were to die for! Marwan our server was fantastic he guided us through the menu and made a great choice for the wine pairing. Would highly recommend coming here if you're in Banff.

    What a fantastic experience! My sister and I met in Banff for a special weekend away. We came in for the Sunday Roast dinner and loved every minute of our time at Bluebird. Our server, Robbie was exceptional. He was so much fun, and helped set a fun and relaxed atmosphere. He was the perfect balance between entertaining us and giving us space and time to enjoy our own conversation and our delightful meal. The Prime Rib was delicious, and the dining room is beautiful. The ambiance in there is perfect! What an overall terrific experience. Can't wait to return!

    Our server Alex was phenomenal. My new wife and I had come to Banff for a mini honeymoon and chose bluebird as our first stop. The prime rib was delicious and drink were absolutely fantastic. We had informed the staff of our new marriage and they provided us with two glasses of Prosecco as a congratulations. 20/10 would recommend

    went for my boyfriends birthday, asked for a nice table which they gave us, discounted some drinks as it was a special occasion and i had it written in the notes, we didn't expect it at all but was a really nice touch that they acknowledged it. food was good but not outstanding for the price. drinks were top notch.
