   Our server was lovely. The ambiance could use some love, the lighting needs to be lowered. The food was a bit hit or miss. The steak was lovely but the onion rings were dry and chalky.

    Date Night at Bobs could not have been better. Sat in the bar area and Jay helped make our experience the best ever. He was very attentive, went over the menu options, and made sure my husband and I were taken care of. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

    Our wedding anniversary visit - Wife ordered a $60+ filet med-well (i know, right?) it came back butter-flyed which is fine I guess, but they should have asked first. Problem was it looked small and was nothing like we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. It had a significant amount of gristle. We were very surprised since the list it as a Prime Filet. The manager was very nice about it and paid for it, but it took a very long time for them to replace & by that time I was done eating and she was so disappointed in the experience that she just decided to take it home. The replacement filet was very good, larger & good perfectly with butter-flying it. There was no way the first steak was a prime filet. Very disappointing experience. Paying for her steak in no way replaces the negative experience. I didn't expect this from Bob's. Two words: Quality Control. It's VERY important to a steak house of this caliber.

    The decor in the main dining area looked like a hotel conference room, although the bar was nice. Wait staff was great, however, food was only OK. We got a Waygu Tomahawk and it cooked well but a gristly and tough. Overall could have had a better meal for $300 at a number of places in Austin

    From the moment we walked in we were greeted by several staff with a warm greet. As we sat down the server came and offered drinks and knowledgeable recommendations. Throughout the evening, when each course was delivered, it was described just as good as the dinner tasted-perfect!

    We live near Bob's Barton Creek. Bar scene during Dell WGC is always a good show. Ate at table in bar. Service is always top notch with Jay and Ryan leading the way.

    The service was excellent. Top notch wait staff. Most of the party ordered the 9oz filet with standard sides. I asked for medium and received what I would consider medium well. A bit dryer than desired. Take into consideration. We ordered the calamari to compare to our home states official appetizer and it was excellent, better than we have had in RI. We also ordered an off menu appetizer: beef egg rolls, which were excellent as well. The bread was a round loaf, hot and fresh. It was a busy time of night and the ambiance was nice but loud. Overall the cost was far too much for the end result, hence my rating. I have had better filets at most RI high end dining establishments.

    When we arrived, the restaurant felt a bit chaotic, potentially due to understaffing. It took some time for the table to be set and ready for our reservation, and then again for the waiter to arrive to take our drink orders. The menus were also printed off center, which is not bad of course, but added to the general rushed and scattered feeling of the night. We ordered a wedge salad, and two steak meals. All of it was just fine, but not close enough to what you’d expect for the price. The patron, dressed in a suit, spent the better part of 30 minutes chatting with a table right in front of us, which was a little distracting - so much so that it made us wonder if they were either famous or his relatives. The best parts of the meal were the waiter, who was rushed but kind and attentive otherwise, and a great wine by the glass. Paying the bill wasn’t so pleasant, and I was pretty relieved to get outside.

    Went to the downtown location and the ambiance, food, and all-around experience was 5-Star so we decided to give this location a try since it’s closer to us. While the service here was definitely top-notch, the food was just ok. The downtown location rivals Ruth’s Chris…this location was comparable to Salt Grass, but double the price.
