   It’s a Saturday night in Picton. You’re coming down the hill from Slake Brewery, a little tipsy, sun-drunk, and glowing from that last saison you probably didn’t need. You pull into free parking—no meter, no stress—and stroll into town with that soft County breeze at your back. Bocado greets you like an old friend with good taste. Inside, it’s all warm light, the gentle clink of glassware, and the kind of atmosphere that whispers stay awhile. It doesn’t scream Spain—it channels it. The soul of Seville, filtered through Prince Edward County. The food? Unapologetically good. Tapas with teeth. Anchovies that taste like the sea remembered you, bravas that punch above their weight, and octopus so tender it feels like a secret. Every plate hits with purpose, every pour is a nod to a place far away but deeply familiar. The service is fluid, instinctive, like they already know what you’re in the mood for. Bocado isn’t trying to impress—it already has. 4.7 stars feels clinical for a place that gets under your skin in all the right ways.

   First time at Bocado. Read some great reviews prior to our visit. We were not disappointed! Food was delicious, service excellent. Would definitely return.

   First time at Bocado and won't be the last. Downtown Toronto quality throughout. Server was pleasant and attentive, the sea bass was some of the best we have had, excellent seasoning, texture, presentation. The asparagus appetizer was excellent as were the crispy calamari. Wine available and selection was well-paired with the meal.

   Excellent! We love Bocado and enjoy it every time we come to the County. The calamari were out of this world. The Iberian ham “croquetas” are one of our favourites and they were outstanding. Service was excellent. We highly recommend this gem in Picton.
