So friendly and cozy. The squid ink pasta with seafood was devine...spent a few hours enjoying the food wine & company and it felt like minutes...the server was helpful & nice...can't wait to go back!!!
Brunch, friendly and excellent service
Brunch was awesome, great food, great drinks and even better service and music! We will definitely be back I miss it already!
Food and service were excellent. Just get rid of the background music. Heavy bass all through dinner.
We celebrated a birthday, but we’ve been there on a non-special occasion and it was just as delightful, service and food.
I’m so incredibly happy with our choice to dine at Bocca. My roommate’s mother and aunt were visiting from Australia. It was their first night in NYC and we wanted to impress them. Success! The service was perfect. Nunzio even made us feel super special, like we were his only table (on a bustling Friday night at 8pm) and the food was wonderful. I had the salmon cooked medium. It was perfect. The caramelized onions were sooooo good. Others had the seafood special, linguini with squid ink and seafood. The only miss was the claw of the lobster was underdone. Perhaps the claw was sticking out of the pot while boiling. It didn’t stop us and the flavors were terrific! The noise was a bit loud, but as we sat down we were fine at the table. The noise became and energy and best of the busyness of the restaurant. They were all so happy with our restaurant choice after their long 24 hours of travel. And NYC made a great impression on them instantly! We will return. Thank you!
Of the 3 Bocca locations, this one is the least appealing ambiance-wise. I’ve had spectacular salads both at the Chelsea and 45th st location. My selection here disappointed. The pasta was delicious, and the service outstanding.
Loved the food, the service, & the setting. Recommend.
Loved the food, amazing service. Loud, jarring music is a turnoff.
Everything we had at Bocca di Bacca was absolutely scrumptious - Carpaccio, Sea Bass, Sweet & Spicy Sausage Pasta, Kale Salad & Tiramisu. Tables are a bit on top of each other but that didn’t detract from our enjoyment. I highly recommended! FYI, I’m a food(ie) snob.
We took a long walk on a very cold day to reach Bocca di Bacco and in the end it was really a very mediocre meal. I guess if you are in the neighborhood, that wouldn't bee such a bad place to have not such a great meal, but I certainly will not go out of my way again to eat there.
We went for brunch and it was just delightful! The food was great and the service was fabulous. The ambiance is lovely. Overall, it was a great brunch experience.

Excellent meal and first class service
This place (location specific) is quite the gem. One of the best Italian restaurants in NYC with amazing food and service. The pastas are all divine.
Awesome neighborhood spot for great Italian food. Perfect noise level too!
The restaurant is fabulous. The wait staff goes above & beyond to make you feel comfortable & at home. The food was good I had the steak panini, but prefer the pasta. The brunch was beyond what was expected
Perfect ! we live in Fl And come backevery 2 years- our third time dinig here and each time food gets better !
Great food and service! The risotto special was amazing and portions overall are a healthy size. Great neighborhood spot!
Love this place. We meet our son frequently for dinner and the food is always excellent. The people who work there are exceptionally pleasant.
LOVED THIS PLACE! Great food and service.
One of the best Valentine’s Day meals I’ve ever had. Special Valentine’s Day menu was incredible- wasn’t just a small selection of their normal menu or lower quality options compared to their normal menu like I’ve experienced in the past at other restaurants. Their special menu for the day was filled with different, delicious options that included high-quality proteins (e.g. filet mignon, lobster tail, and octopus). The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. Not to mention, the 3-course meal was reasonably priced!
The service was also incredible - although it was insanely busy, they never missed a step!
I’ve always been a fan of this restaurant and have dined there multiple times, but yesterday’s meal/service truly impressed me - above and beyond my expectations! Thank you!
Really great find. Relaxed but excellent food. Plenty of space and not expensive. Great afternoon hang out.
Excellent food and service. A fantastic dining experience
Food was delicious; service was attentive but not overbearing and gave us space needed to talk with old friends. Good choice near theaters
Being a NYC tourist from TX, And a second time visitor to Bocco, we were not disappointed! Lively, welcoming and great food. So many neighborhood folks made us feel welcome. Maybe next time il wear my cowboy hat!
Had a friend/former colleague visiting from Germany and we came in for pre-theatre dinner. The food was excellent as always and our waiter was quirky, funny and charming giving us a few rounds of a smoothie shot after dinner. The only issue at that location is the noise level, which is quite high at 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday.
Atmosphere and service were excellent. Food was very good as well. Delicious shot was offered at end of meal, pleasant surprise. Only thing that could be improved is the amount of seafood in the linguini special; it was mostly pasta with literally 5 small pieces of calamari & 4 teeny bites of lobster. Server also said shrimp would be included, there were none at all, so that was disappointing.
