   Having had a 40 year history of eating middle eastern food/greek food, I think I'm a pretty good judge of it. The food here was completely tasteless and absolutely nothing like any middle eastern I've ever eaten. Bizarre tasting saganaki, bland hummus and lamb kafta, chicken kebabs (shish tawook), etc that were served without the traditional sauces or grilled vegetables and either garlic or tahini. I asked for sauces because there was nothing but rice and meat on the plate aside from a tomato and onion- I was brought out hummus, tzaziki, and a red pepper paste of sorts. The brussel sprouts were charred. Honestly the only thing this restaurant has going for it is the cute decor and lovely chandelier. The waiter was nice. Nothing else would ever bring me back. In addition, please put serving spoons on the plate when it is obvious everything is to be shared. Big disappointment!!

   Nice decor and great cocktails. One of the people in our group did not get her food with the rest of us and ended up waiting over 20 minutes for her meal. They ended up not charging us for it, but only gave us updates when we asked and never offered to just bring her something else.

   After being seated around 7, in a half empty dining room, we ordered our food andch waited until 8 for three meals. We shortly discovered they were all undercooked - basically raw beef and lamb. The server took back the plates and said they were making new dishes. We waited 15 more minutes and after watching the table next to us get dinners, we asked for the check and left. I told the server we should have been comped for the entire tab. Won't ever go back.

   The ostrich were super salty as the ceviche, the rice was kind of burnt. The drinks were super good! The service was good as well but the food took really long.

   Place and ambiance was nice, our party did not enjoy the food unfortunately. Everything sounds good on the menu, but it did not meet our expectations. Good place for a nice ambiance and for a drink though.

    Star rating: 1/5 Review: I recently went to Bohemia and unfortunately I cannot recommend it. The food lacked any kind of taste - even a simple sprinkle of salt and pepper would have helped. We only had appetizers, which included the tower of fried zucchini and eggplant. Sadly, it had no taste at all. At that point we decided to leave. The hummus was just alright, but it also needed some more flavor. The menu was also limited. The bread and drinks were ok, nothing special. Overall, the dining experience was disappointing and I don't plan on visiting this restaurant again.

    I came here for Valentine’s Day dinner with my partner. The menu, though limited, was good. The bread is fresh and homemade, but the hummus that came with it tasted too strong. It wasn’t hot, it just overpowered the hummus, we both agreed. Other than that, great atmosphere, fair prices. Would recommend I suppose, but I wasn’t blown away by the food.

    Food was bland and had very little seasoning. Cocktails were fun and very instagram-able but the Pistachio Martini came with small pieces of ice floating in it and the glass was only half full.

    Unique menu - offering cool opportunities to try something new. We really enjoyed the appetizers and tried a few in lieu of an entre. One appetizer was over cooked however which we returned. We will return however and give it another try. The restaurant is certainly worthy of visiting.

    The food was decent. Service was friendly, but in a restaurant with a menu heavy with complicated cocktails, asking the bartender to also wait tables led to long delays in service. A little pricey for what you are getting.

    ’m not one to post reviews but I’m pretty unhappy. Had a reservation for 7:00. got seated around 7:20ish, so not horrible but that was just the beginning. we ordered drinks and a few apps to split. the saganaki fondue (we didn’t even eat), looked watery, chunky, and all together unappetizing. the ribs were SO tough, we couldn’t even cut them with the knives provided. the service was slow and awkward, with one dish coming out at a time with about 15-20 mins in between. took about 2 hours to complete drinks and apps. vibe is cute and it was busy, but not worth the time or money spent in this establishment.

    Based on the reviews less than 4 stars but I just wanted to try this place. The restaurant has a very nice decorations. Cocktail drink is delicious. We ordered hummus and Brussels sprouts, they are great. We had whole fish, it was a trout, the fish taste old fish,terrible. We also had lamb kafta, supposed to be on skewer, it came whole piece. No taste. All I can say if you want to compete in the restaurant business you need to do lot of improvement otherwise you will not last. We won’t come back

    Most of our 8 entrees came out at separate intervals. We did appreciate being given free apps and desert. The food was delicious, and it has a very friendly staff. Thanks Brayden our server.

    Fun decor makes the place stand out. However, the restaurant was clearly short on staff, especially at the bar (15 minutes for our drinks to be served). Our beleaguered waiter apologized several times for the delays. Once they arrived, the special cocktails were very tasty. We cancelled our 2nd round after waiting so long that we finished all our food and were ready to leave before the waiter came by again to apologize. We really enjoyed the hummus with amazing "laffa bread", a fresh-from-the-oven plate-sized pita with za'atar. The kabobs were good but not great; served over very plain rice or couscous, with lame "grilled vegetables" consisting of a barely-warmed tomato wedge and onion slice. The kitchen seems to be serving 2 restaurants - "Pearl" is next to "Bohemia." If you want Middle Eastern food, go to a La Marsa location for better food, bigger portions and good service. If you want a cocktail bar, there are plenty of those where you might actually get served before you're ready to leave. Now I know why it was easy to get a reservation there on a Saturday, when every other place in Royal Oak was booked on "Open". The word is out.

    We were very happy with our dinners. It was not full on a Saturday night, which was great because we were hungry and got in at the last minute. This did make us worry , however that the food might not be up to par. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious. The waiter could not have been nicer. He got answers to our questions, and the chef was willing to make a substitution due to diet issues. We will go back.

    The best food on the island, the owners are originally from Tunisia, migrated to France, and then Aruba. the style is clean, fresh and beautifully prepared. The manager, son and father all came over to our table several times to see how our meal was. I highly recommend!

    Delish! Returning customer!. I only wish the owner would pay the staff more to be able to keep them. Service is always very slow. The kebabs are juicy, tender, Saganaki dip is a must! We also get the naan bread w/ Muhammara/ yogurt dips. All amazing everytime! Drinks delish. Love the pistachio martini!

    I wish I could write a review about Bohemia but open table let me book a table for a night that they weren’t even open. Very unfortunate and was for a large party so I’m disappointed that the restaurant didn’t get the notice and make a call to change.

    Excessive wait time after being seated. Given the long wait, we had time to discuss leaving. As soon as the waiter came, service was more than adequate and the ambiance and quality of the food made the slow start to the evening a thing of the past.

    The ambiance is really great. Decorated really cool and contemporary. The food came out very slowly but servers and the managers checked on us regularly. When it comes to the food, which is Mediterranean, it doesn’t stand out as special compared to other places. However, the prices aren’t bad for downtown Royal Oak and the setting make up for it.

    Great dinner, the waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We had the sheep cheese to start which was amazing and a good portion for two people. I had the chicken kabob which was moist and came with a side of rice it was the perfect size.

    We went there for my birthday, which we noted when reserving. They did not acknowledge in any way. That's OK but I wondered why they asked about the occasion in the reservation process. It was pretty cold in there at first, I guess they had the garage doors open all day and it was chilly by the time we got there. Now for the good part: The waitress was very good, she had no problem explaining the menu to us, and was prompt and friendly. The food was very good, quite different from the usual Lebanese, middle eastern fare. We noted quite a bit of sweetness in the appetizers and entrees. They seem to use honey or date syrup in many dishes. I loved the laffe bread with the hummus, roasted eggplant dip and halloumi, filled up on that. I sampled my companion's chicken kabob, and it was very tasty. The rice had some sweetness to it, which put me off a bit, but it was well prepared and tasty. The crispy brussels sprouts were good, but also sweet. I usually avoid sweets with my meal, so when I go back, I will have to order carefully. I do plan to go back as the atmosphere and service were great and the food was a nice adventure. Parking is pretty easy as well, the parking garage directly behind the restaurant is accessible, directly across the alley, although the entrance says Pinky's, not Bohemia.
