Our group of three had a great time and enjoyed the food immensely. We had an in-depth discussion about the relative merits of English Marmite, NZ Marmite, and Vegemite and concluded absolutely nothing. It was challenging explaining to the Bon Temps team what these spreads are like, but we had a jolly good go and I’m convinced they were heading straight out to buy some. What a great team of nice people. Thanks for feeding us!

We love to try different restaurants throughout Hamilton, and yet every time my boyfriend and I return to bon temps we remember why it is our favourite! The service, food and cocktails are always great. We always enjoy the oysters and last night we tried the smash burger feature which was unreal. Can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Bon Temps. The appetizers were delicious (fresh oysters) as was the main course. One of the few restaurants open on Mondays (big plus!). Will definitely be a repeat customer!

The staff was very friendly and courteous… Their versions of cocktails were fresh and delicious. The food was amazing. The “smash burger” was the best burger I’ve ever had. No joke! I’m def going back!!!

We had a birthday dinner last evening and it was delicious. We started with samples of fish tacos and popcorn chicken, then we had some PEI oysters and they were the best I've tasted. The waitress was attentive but never intrusive and we ordered some cocktails lavender margarita and a Moscow mule all very tasty. 3 of us had the Lobster roll with a side of potato salad a great summer dinner. One of us had the steak and frites and the other the Pasta all delicious. The food is without question excellent. Then the waitress brought us two slices of tiramisu cake and birthday candles. A very different taste with an orange zest that we all loved. Topping the dinner off with excellent cappuccino and espresso we were very glad to dine at BonTemps and will do so again.

Our first visit to Bon temps was a definite hit. Our arrival was prompt, pleasant, and instructive - the pris fixe menu for couples was a happy surprise, and we chowed down contentedly on our two starters and on a scrumptious pair of steaks frites entrees. One element of our visit , not at all your fault, but presenting issues of timing, was the parking situation. It might be useful to provide some guidance to strangers, or to a couple like us who are old Hamiltonians baffled by the current Hamilton parking rules

Food was great, cooked right in front of you. Service was attentive, didn't have to wait for anything. Would definitely go back. My mom was really intrigued by the alcove table and would want to sit there next time.

The food was brilliant! Service quick. We ordered the Charcuterie Board but was missing the cheese portion however, our waitress was quick to remedy that. Braised Beef melted in your mouth it was so tender.

This is my 3rd visit to this restaurant along with a few of my best friends and we are all equally impressed each time. The place is rather unassuming when you first walk in ,kind of eclectic, almost like a revamped diner. However, the food is omg great, you will want to return again and again.
